Donald Trump has teased a a 2024 presidential run saying he 'may have to do it again' during a rowdy Georgia rally where he slammed Joe Biden for 'giving up' on Ukraine and said the president should 'recuse himself' from the country altogether because of his son Hunter Biden's dealings with it.Trump returned on Saturday to Georgia, the state that has served as ground zero for his baseless claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him and now will test his enduring influence over the Republican Party. The former president addressed many recent issues popular with conservatives, while still revisiting many of his favorite subjects, including his successor's son.

This article reminds me that as a much younger man, the 1980 presidential election was the most pivotal of my life, given the state of the country post Vietnam, post Watergate, and under the extremely flawed leadership of Jimmy Carter. Whereas in 1980, Reagan was the presumptive GOP challenger to Carter, Trump appears to have the inside track to challenge Biden in '24. After the 1978 mid-terms, democrats retained control of both chambers of Congress, making the 1980 election even more critical to altering the dismal trajectory of our country under democrat control. And democrats of 1980, had yet to go full communist. If our upcoming mid-term truly reflects the will of the majority of legal voters, then many of Biden's disastrous policies may be curbed and the '24 presidential election dynamic should make it easier to bounce Biden and the progressive thugs and shadow handlers of his administration out of our government. One key difference that I see is that while Reagan certainly drew distinctions between his vision of governance and American in general and this of his political opponents, he had a knack and penchant for painting a positive picture of America that was appealing to a broad sector of the American voting population, with significant in-roads carved into traditional democrat voting blocs, like Blue collar union members. The result was the flipping of the Senate and the Whitehouse to conservative GOP control. My point vis-a-vis Trump is that a drumbeat of negative messaging is less effective than when infused with a positive vision for traditional, conservative America. Reagan did not enjoy positive media coverage in his quest for the presidency, although the media of the time weren't so blatantly pro-Marxists as we see today. Getting a large part of my "news" from these pages, I can't help but notice that the majority of what is reported about Trump's current messaging is consistently him going negative, with the important counter-picture of what is being teed up to commence starting in January, 2025 being left unarticulated. I don't need to be constantly told who and what are bad but rather I want to hear more about what will be done about it and where this will take us in the coming years. I believe that Trump has the vision that, if well communicated, can put him back in the White House, elected by a broad coalition of Americans who still love this country. Failure to do so doesn't ensure defeat but it would go a long way towards generating a theft-resistant, if not theft-proof landslide. A little upbeat optimism can go a long way in clearly troubled times.

Last week, Joe Biden made three serious gaffes, forcing the White House to “clarify” or walk back his statements. But when he was called out on them on Monday by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy, he denied that any of his remarks were ever walked back.“Are you worried that other leaders in the world are going to start to doubt that America is back if some of these big things that you say on the world stage keep getting walked back?” Doocy asked?“What getting walked back?” Biden demanded, apparently seriously.“It may sound like, just in the last couple days—it sounded like you told U.S. troops they were

Aging and increasingly irrelevant actress Sally Field is clinging to hope that someone will listen to her. Fading fame has that effect on self-entitled losers. Does anyone younger than 40 know who Sally Field is? What has she done lately? And by lately I mean decades? Even Breitbart, which covers her violence-fueled rant below, could best connect its readers to her appearance in 1994’s Forrest Gump and 1977’s Smokey and the Bandit. She’s a washed-up joke. She’s also apparently cool with political violence. Some might call that terrorism. As reported by Breitbart, here is Sally Field threatening violence against two different conservative politicians:

President Joe Biden on Monday tried to clarify his comments about not allowing President Vladimir Putin to stay in power, insisting he was expressing his outrage at the Russian leader's brutality in Ukraine rather that unveiling a new U.S. policy. The U.S. president alarmed allies and partners on Saturday when he said at the end of a speech in Warsaw: 'For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power.' The White House quickly tried to walk back the comments, saying the president meant Putin could not continue to wield power over neighbors.

The Daily Wire highlighted that Biden’s seemingly off-the-cuff remarks had to quickly be addressed and walked-back by the administration. In one instance, Biden told a group of American troops in Poland that they were going to see the “backbone” and “guts” of the Ukrainian people “when you’re there,” suggesting the U.S. was putting boots on the ground in Ukraine, in contrast with White House statements and talking points.

Is the Constitution inherently racist? Brandon Hasbrouck says yes. In Boston University Law Review article “The Antiracist Constitution,” the Washington and Lee University professor alleges our nation’s founding document “serves white supremacy.” He aids his argument with George Floyd’s death, the Fugitive Slave Act, and the fact that Thomas Jefferson owned slaves. The professor points out a peculiarity: It is June 28, 1776. The Continental Congress orders that Thomas Jefferson’s draft of the Declaration of Independence “lie on the table.” … Jefferson, who enslaves hundreds of people, nonetheless includes an assertion that “all men are created equal.” Moving forward to fugitive slaves: It is September 18, 1850. Congress passes the Fugitive Slave Act…
