The results of the Texas primary elections might have given the progressive cause to be optimistic about their prospects in November. At least, this is what several left-leaning news outlets have suggested after Tuesday’s elections. However, a closer look at the situation reveals the hard left may not want to start celebrating just yet.
Progressives managed to eke out a couple of critical victories in the primary elections. These are individuals who are backed by the far-left wing of the Democratic Party. Politico reported:
The chance for progressives to set the tone for this year’s primaries led many of the biggest figures on the left

No they are losing ground big time.
They’re just getting better at cheating.

The socialists are gaining ground as Texas is flooded with people crossing the border. That's the goal of the left. And the left is cheating big time in the cities, which they control. They keep counting until they win, no matter how long after election day. Harris County just finished the primary count, 2 days after the legal requirement. The Democrats always violate any law they don't like with impunity.

If you can call making election fraud a misdemeanor instead of a felony, I guess you could say the far left cheaters, I mean Dimmocrats, or making progress.

Yes. At university anyway. And Austin is now Los Austin; so many of those leftist puke invaded that city that it's unrecognizable as a part of the rest of the state.

Democrats eating Democrats is a win for Republicans!!
And Beto can now start thinking of running for the local council election !!
For all the LSM talking points about election integrity- Texas not only has the electronic voting, but the voted ballot list is printed out and saved electronically

The demonrat socialist Marxists are NOT gaining ground AT ALL
The only place they thrive is the socialist 'democracy' of Austin, and Beavis O'Dork is going to get beaten badly this fall.
The only hope the 'progressives' have is to fragment the Republican Party into fighting amongst itself, and with Allen West getting 12% and Don Huffines getting 8% neither of them could draw Governor Abbott into a runoff--
The media creations are FEW, and only in the People's Republic of Austin will they thrive,... The so-called "blue spine" along I-35 from San Antonio to D/FW has not yet materialized, and those recent move-ins from companies flooding into Texas yearning to live LIFE still mostly contain moderate to conservative persons who are not socialist wackos

Thanks to gerrymandering, there are a few districts sacrificed to hard-core leftist Demon-Rats. They might be able to beat a more moderate Demon-Rat in one of those districts. but without the gerrymandering, they wouldn't have a shot in most of Texas.
But while a conservative Demon-Rat might be able to eventually win one of the major state offices again (but probably only if the Republican in the race really messes up), there is no chance a really lie-beral Demon-Rat can hope to win a major state office. Beto-the-faux-Mexican gave Ted Cruz a run for the money a few years ago. But that was far more about how mad most Republicans were at Cruz than anything to do with Beto.

Keep your eyes on the RINOs. It's a big problem here in SC, and I know you all know who I'm referring to.

Moderate Democrats are abandoning the party. That allows left-wing kooks to win a few primaries, but not general elections.

As major metro areas expand further, such as Harris County (Houston), spillover into surrounding "conservative" counties is threatening Republican domination. My county grew 250,000 between 2010 and '20. By my observation, the GOP/conservatives are elders who still pine for the days of ten-gallon hats and six-shooters. They cannot abide non-Christians in their ranks, but will tolerate some foreigners, and they do not understand the cultures that are moving into their jurisdictions. White newcomers are "carpetbaggers". Very welcoming.
My county, once proudly the most Red in Texas, home of Tom DeLay and Ron Paul, is still Red at the Congressional level, thanks largely to the district lines. Local government is Blue and getting deeper in that color. The Dems have largely united the black and immigrant (Indian, Chinese and second-generation Vietnamese) factions into a voting bloc. When one considers that my County's demographics are just 31% white, non-Hispanic, and that the largest "minority" is Hispanic (24%), with Black/Asian (21% each), one can see bold handwriting on the wall if Republicans cannot evolve. The same holds true in virtually every county bordering Harris (Houston).
