The Queen is being 'carefully monitored' by her staff as they take a 'sensible' approach to her positive Covid test. The Palace is 'cautious' but not 'alarmed' by her 'mild symptoms' as the triple-jabbed Royal plans 'light duties' this week and to speak to the PM on the phone. The 95-year-old Monarch still wants to fulfil online audiences and telephone meetings, with only one in-person event likely to be cancelled. She felt well enough yesterday to pay tribute to Team GB's gold medal in the curling at the Winter Olympics

Bless her heart. What a long and mostly wonderful life she's led. It's a pity two ugly relatives are making this part of it so stressful. Andrew has been a slut all his life. Harry is bewitched by MeAgain Markle. But she does have Catherine and Will. What a blessing they are for her.

Families are like that. We get the good and the not so. She has taken care of her children and disciplined those who needed it. Andrew was an exception, but he has been shamed and sent to purgatory. He will never live down what he did. Hope lies with William and Catherine. I loathed Camilla, but now see her as being more grounded, more normal, than Charles. She may be his anchor to windward until time for William to assume the monarchy.

If Queen Elizabeth were an evangelist, the whole world would love Jesus. She radiates the beauty of the Divine. When the Archbishop of Canterbury anointed her, I think something sacramental took place. I'm saying prayers for her. She reminds me of the dignity of mankind that exists by the grace of God.

She’ll be fine. She has the best medical care on earth and great genetics - her own mother lived to be 102. Her father would most likely have had a long life had he not killed himself with cigarettes. His brother lived to be 78.

Donald Trump praised Vladimir Putin's plan to invade Ukraine as 'genius' and called the Russian leader 'very savvy' on Tuesday, hours after he put out a statement saying Russia would have never invaded Ukraine under his watch. Speaking with conservative podcaster Buck Sexton, the former president said: 'I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, "This is genius,"' Trump recalled. 'Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine — of Ukraine -- Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that's wonderful.''I said, "How smart is that?'" the former U.S. president continued. Two Kremlin-backed banks and the sons of three of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s cronies are among the first targets of US sanctions for what President Joe Biden on Tuesday called “the beginning of a Russian invasion of Ukraine.”Biden announced the punitive financial measures after Putin ordered his country’s military to “perform peacekeeping functions” in two breakaway regions of eastern Ukraine. The sanctions prevent the VEB and PSB banks from doing business in the US, cut off their access to the US financial system and freeze any assets under American jurisdiction. The targeted “elites” — who the Treasury Department suspects of “participating in the Russian regime’s kleptocracy” — are blocked from
