Protesters from the Canadian trucker convoy took their message to the capital city's busiest airport Thursday morning, slowly circling the airport's arrivals and departures lanes and honking their horns. About 70 trucks were making the rounds "in an attempt to disrupt operations," the Ottawa International Airport Authority said in a statement. Pat King, one of the convoy's key organizers, claimed on Facebook, "We're having a parade." He added that they had been circling the airport for about two hours and didn't have plans to stop. The City of Ottawa sent out a tweet warning passengers to "expect delays" and that the duration was "unknown."

I have to disagree. This kind of mischief hurts their cause, giving the blithering idiot Trudeau some new talking points, and aggravating people who might otherwise have sympathized with them. Bad move.

Trudeau was looking babyish and seated in Parliament today. I had not heard his voice and speech before, which is also babyish, and he has difficulty framing a thought, repeating the same things over and over, like school yard argument. No, you can't. Yes, I can. Trudeau has lost this fight because he has unmasked the tyranny and arrogance of the rulers against the citizenry. That will never go over. They will turn on you, Trudeau, and they have.

Justin's plan is going to fail big time. Even if he succeeds in driving off the trucks, the truckers will not go back to work. If they just hang in there, they will win. They are far more essential to Ottawa than are the politicians.

The truckers are showing the world how a righteous peaceful protest against government oppression works. Inconvenience is a small price to pay to destroy the Trudeau government’s massive overreach. Hopefully, it is a lesson the elites in the world will learn too. They are going to have to kill massive numbers of freedom loving people to drive their Great Reset forward. Much to their surprise, people do not want what the elites are trying to push down their throats. Freedom means life and as usual, oppression leads to death. People are making a choice and they choose freedom!

Under President Biden, the FDA, which had for decades advocated for the use of inexpensive generic drugs whenever possible, is suddenly inaudible and has even spoken out against inexpensive, widely available generic drugs that likely ameliorate COVID symptoms, even though these drugs have decades of safety data behind them. There are two leading explanations for this otherwise inexplicable turn of events: politics and money. Let’s start with politics. Under Biden, the FDA has made it very clear for over two years that they do not approve of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine for treatment of COVID-19, saying there is “insufficient data.”

A former Obama administration official is suggesting that Canadian authorities arrest members of the Freedom Convoy and encouraging people to "slash the tires" of their trucks. Juliette Kayyem, who was assistant secretary of homeland security for intergovernmental affairs under President Barack Obama, tweeted the message Thursday in response to footage showing trucks creating gridlock on the Ambassador Bridge, which links the United States and Canada. "Slash the tires, empty gas tanks, arrest the drivers, and move the trucks," Kayyem wrote. [Tweet] Kayyem is now a senior lecturer of international security at Harvard University's John F. An arsonist who murdered a father of five during the George Floyd riots was given a reduced sentence after the federal prosecutor in Minnesota asked the judge for leniency because of the arsonist’s “legitimate frustration with the criminal justice system,” according to the Washington Free Beacon. For some Republican members of Congress, the 12-year sentence suggested by prosecutors, when guidelines called for 20 years, proved too much to accept. The arsonist, 26-year-old Montez Terriel Lee, tried to claim he didn’t intend to hurt anyone. But it was the prosecutor’s reasoning that strikes any reasonable person as ludicrous. “Mr. Lee was terribly misguided, and his actions had tragic, unthinkable consequences.

The North Carolina Board of Elections claims it has the power to prevent Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) from running for re-election because of his alleged role in the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol building. Liberal activists had filed the challenge last month using an obscure “disqualification clause” in the Constitution — Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment — which was ratified after the Civil War to prevent Confederate officials and those who supported “insurrection” from returning to office. The problem for the activists is that Cawthorn never supported an “insurrection.”

We are going to crush the Democrats in 2022, and there will be a temptation to sigh and wipe our brow and think it’s all over, but instead of relaxing in 2023 the GOP needs to attack. Think Attila the Hun charging at the head of his horde. Think George Patton leading the Third Army. Think Brian Stelter, who is a potato, when he sees a buffet. We need to crush their dreams and make them howl in the run-up to 2024, when we will retake the presidency and put a sharpened stake through the shriveled heart of the leftist monster. We will have power soon. We must use it.

In Major League Baseball, starting pitchers get plenty of press, all the glory, and the really big bucks. But true aficionados of the sport know that a team is only as good as its bullpen, a collection of lesser-known pitchers who are called upon when the starting pitcher runs out of gas. The Biden administration is putting out new details on its effort to create 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations–with new efforts to push out funds to have them line interstates at 50-mile intervals. The administration is awarding $5 billion over five years to states to have them build thousands of electric vehicle charging stations. Another $2.5 billion will go out in grants to be decided later. It all comes from the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure plan that was enacted late last year and that the administration continues to sell, amid the collapse of Biden's Build Back Better plan. The charging stations would work with all electric vehicles
