Biden Is Out Of Touch With Reality On Inflation

These days, when President Joe Biden isn’t lying about being arrested during the Civil Rights struggles of the 1960s, he’s telling equally large fibs about “making progress” on inflation and the economy. Truth is, in the space of less than a year, he’s turned a recovering economy into dross. Thursday brought yet more disastrous news about the “transitory” upsurge in inflation the media shills and Biden administration economic advisers talk about. After Wednesday’s consumer price data showed a 7% rise in consumer prices for 2021, the highest since 1982, came worse news for producer prices:

Silly headline. Biden is out of touch PERIOD and with everything. Years ago he was 'in touch' enough to enrich himself by scheming for wealth and political power. Those days are over and BiteMe nowadays probably can't even scheme enough to remember his diapers.

Shelves are empty and when I do find what I am looking for it is more expensive than the week before. I now have to go to three different grocery stores hoping to find what I want/need. Meat is very expensive and frozen food products have gone way up. I dare jen psaki to find a bag of Tyson chicken tenders anywhere. Luckily it is only my husband and me. We can work around the prices and the lack of some of our favorites. I would not want to be feeding four or five people in one household. Found a lovely roast beef for $25. I can cook it and use it for three meals which when divided out is not a bad deal. But not so good for a family wanting a nice Sunday lunch. FJB is worse than I imagined he would be and that is saying a lot. FJB's reality is quite a bit different than the average American.

I’m not sure ANYONE realized how quickly and uniformly the Democrats’ leftists would destroy everything they touched. Everything. I don’t believe the “woke” Soros-funded prosecutors foresaw how quickly their ideas would soil everything. (And some, like the Stupid in NYC, haven’t learned a thing.) The 2020 election may have this silver lining: we see the fruit of DGW (Democrats Gone Wild). And I believe that by the grace of God, their enfeebled leadership has preserved the opportunity to restore this country. Trump proved that problems can be solved. His successors proved that their ideas are ruinous.

The writer(s) are wrong. Biden is not out of touch. He is trying to gaslight the American people. In particular, those who support him. What he says will be dutifully reported by the propaganda wing as taken as truth by those he is targeting, despite what their own experience tells them. They believe what they are told and if you try to point out that they are wrong, they either treat you as evil, or condescend to you as someone who relies on "misinformation". In either case, they never question the "truth" they are being told.

it would be easy to say Biden is out of touch with reality on everything, but I don't think that gives the entire story. Biden is only out to lunch half the time. The rest of the time he is all there. Nothing has happened by accident. Its all been by design. Biden is stupid, corrupt, hateful, and ignorant. He seems to have allied himself with anti-American totalitarians. He is actually more extreme than Barack Obama. Remember, Biden is the only person to continue to oppose the assassination of Bin Ladin once our military was closing in on him. Why would he do that? Think there are only two things motivating Biden, and they are very basic. One is greed, and the other is hatred. Biden is not a complex man. Quite the opposite. He is a simple man, but not in a good way. He wants and he hates, and he finds kinship in people that are like him. That how he ends up allied with America hating corrupt totalitarians. If Biden had been born an Arab in the Middle East, he would have become a terrorist.

The early Bolsheviks (I think it was Lenin) in the newly-formed Soviet Union said that the best way to get rid of the middle class was to "Grind them between Inflation and High Taxes."..... and that is exactly was the Democ'RATS are doing. Biden is a hand puppet, the character 'Chance the Gardener' from the movie 'Being There', brought to life. Clearly he is not in charge. Those making the decisions are out of sight, hiding behind Biden. Who are they? My money is on Obummer, ValJar, Soros, and the like, with the ChiComs in turn behind them. Their objective, to destroy the America that we grew up in and that loyal, traditional American love. They have pushed bad policy everywhere that the can. This is not by accident, and not by incompetence. It is on purpose.

FTA: "Unfortunately, Congress, which has already spent $6 trillion on post-COVID “stimulus,” wants to spend even more – doing further damage to our economy. Brian Riedl of the Manhattan Institute estimates that, based on Congress’ current wish list, U.S. federal debt could soar from “just” $17 trillion before the pandemic to $44 trillion." From $17 TRILLION to $44 TRILLION...and the borrowing and spending didn't start on January 20, 2021. Congress and the Fed have been wholly irresponsible. Let's not forget that PDT signed off on TRILLIONS for COVIDS, stimulus and whatever else. The article says $6 TRILLION, others peg it at $10 TRILLION. And there, friends, are the seeds of this inflation. The UNIPARTY got its money spreaders into high gear and the President, as in PDT, was too happy to sign into effect. Those of us who lived in the '70s saw the same game with LBJ-Nixon-Ford-Carter, and even early Reagan, when the value of the dollar fell by two-thirds. Politicians are happy to spend, even to accept the consequences (while blaming others), but when the cure is applied it is slow and painful. Remember that.

In Cato’s 15th letter, the writers who compiled the series of essays under a pen name inspired by the Roman senator who stood against the tyranny of Julius Caesar argued that “freedom of speech is the great bulwark of liberty; they prosper and die together.” Today, we are watching that death play out before us. President Joe Biden, whose growing unpopularity is well-deserved, continued to carry on last week what has become a Democratic tradition: He asked the private sector to become partners in censorship with the federal government. “I make a special appeal to social media companies and media outlets,

Both sides of the political debate agree that there’s a schism of sorts in America, a cultural battle that transcends ordinary politicking and goes to the heart of how we see ourselves and our fellow Americans. And one of the elements of that cultural battle, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll suggests, is religion. The monthly I&I/TIPP sounding of public opinion asked: “Do you agree or disagree with the statement “religion is under attack in the U.S.?” Among those responding, 52% said they agree, while 40% said they disagree. About 9% said they weren’t sure (numbers don’t add to 100% due to rounding).

In 1989, Boris Yeltsin visited a Randalls supermarket in Texas. He was astonished at what he saw: shelves, coolers, and freezers bursting with groceries. Were the late Russian president to visit today, he would find many of America’s stores having a lot in common with those of the centrally planned Soviet Union, where the inventory was chronically low, the customers morose. According to reports of the day, Yeltsin, then still a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, “roamed the aisles of Randalls nodding his head in amazement,” declaring that “even the Politburo doesn’t have this choice. Not even Mr. Gorbachev.”

Climate alarmists have said it’s necessary to ratchet up the fear about global warming to get the public’s attention. It’s the same story with the coronavirus outbreak. Authorities wanted to strike fear in the people, so they exaggerated the lethality of a virus deadly to only a narrow demographic segment. Compare and contrast: Global warming, 1988. “We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have,” about global warming, said Stanford climatologist Stephen Schneider.
