Pfizer CEO: Omicron-specific booster ready
by March, if needed

Original Article

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said Tuesday his company plans to have an omicron-specific vaccine for COVID-19 by March. Mr. Bourla said he thinks that the current vaccines, particularly with a booster, offer reasonable protection against hospitalization but that a variant-specific vaccine would protect against overall infection. “I don’t know if we will need it, I don’t know if and how it will be used. But it will be ready,” Mr. Bourla told CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” For now, federal officials are focused on getting Americans up to date with a third dose of the messenger-RNA vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna or a booster of any kind

Comments:

The timing is convenient for those who trusted The Science and got their boosters in December, seeing how the "protection" tapers off sharply after just 3 months. Boosters now, boosters forever! Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla's bank account sings with delight.

Don't think so. Went 16 months without any irregular heartbeat. Used to get a bout of irregular heartbeat every 2-3 months. Doctor found a drug interaction that caused it. Took them five years to connect the two. Unbelievable. They were meds they prescribed. Got COVID shot #1 in April, #2 in May, and #3 in December. Got bouts of irregular heartbeat in July, September, and December. The third bout of irregular heartbeat occurred one day have getting shot #3. My bouts of irregular heartbeat are back. Not going to get any more shots. Can't prove one causes the other but cannot come up with any other reason. No more shots.

Washington–The Federal Election Commission has tossed out a 2019 complaint against Rep. Ilhan Omar from a conservative group alleging the Minnesota Democrat illegally spent campaign funds on her now-husband's political consulting firm. "The FEC's unanimous 6-0 ruling confirms what we've said from the beginning: This was a baseless effort by a right-wing group to smear the congresswoman," Omar campaign spokesman Isi Baehr-Breen said in a text message. "We're glad people now have a better idea of the kind of tactics the right wing is willing to use to try to smear and silence Rep. Omar. Good riddance."

President Joe Biden was not making a 'human' comparison between opponents of his voter rights push with racists and segregationists in a speech this week, said the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Friday. Rather he simply meant to compare the actions of those who opposed reform with the likes of George Wallace and other notorious figures. The clean-up came after critics accused Biden of divisive rhetoric, and the president has since seen his initiative collapse as two hold-out Democratic senators said they could not support his plan to change Senate rules in order to pass the legislation.
