Blue on blue attack: Georgia Dems slam

The White House considers Georgia as “ground zero” for voter suppression laws. Somewhere along the way, Georgia Democrats didn’t receive the memo. They question why Biden and Kamala are traveling to their state tomorrow to echo the themes of Biden’s highly divisive January 6 speech and talk up his endorsement of a filibuster carveout in order to pass voting rights legislation in the Senate. This is a perfect example of the tone-deafness that plagues the Biden administration. Biden and Harris can’t even get on the same page as their own party activists. The push is on for passage in the Senate of the Freedom to Vote Act

The people of GA would surely prefer to see and hear UGA the bulldog mascot than either of these dogs. White House is promising another vicious speech by Biden, which is so inappropriate after last night’s win and today’s celebrations. Perhaps when It is Biden’s turn to speak he can be pulled out from under the table just like the boxes of ballots that appeared after Republican registrars were sent home last November.

I'm still waiting for at least 1 person to come forward and demonstrate how their vote was 'repressed'. Questionable voters are allowed to cast provisional ballots which are supposed to be scrutinized when votes are tallied. In Georgia's case, it appears provisional ballots are counted without verification and perhaps even counted more than once.

You know what is sad about all of this? We Americans pay substantial amounts of taxes: property tax, income tax, sales tax, fees, etc. etc. What kind of leadership are we getting out of all of this? It seems that once a person has won their campaign, Democrat or Republican, they have forgotten who they are serving. The American people and that is it. It seems like politicians think it is their responsibility to now reimburse illegals, foreign countries and the list goes on. This administration is brazen and they don't seem to care. With that said, have you noticed how sour Democrats look? Especially Joe Biden. According to them, they won and now want to shove everything down our throats. There seems to be no joy in liberals, I guess.

Democrat Congressional candidates running in GOP House districts are noticeably avoiding talking about President Joe Biden’s floundering Build Back Better agenda, the Daily Beast observed on Tuesday. According to the report: …At least seven other Democrats who are running in the most competitive GOP-held House districts—from New York to Iowa to Maryland—have said nothing or vanishingly little about Build Back Better. Most of those candidates have not so much as mentioned the name of the bill in their social media posts and campaign materials.

While the battle over education has settled back into the trenches over the last few months following Glenn Youngkin’s big win in Virginia, we are beginning to learn more about how parents became so demonized. As RedState reported at the time, the NSBA sent a letter to the DOJ that urged action against parents speaking out at school board meetings under the guise of the Patriot Act. The DOJ then used that letter as justification to use its counter-terrorism division to add “threat tags” to parents. But as bad as that was, today’s news makes it all the worse.

As Peter Allen once sang, everything old is new again … including grocery shortages. Joe Biden and Democrats initially scoffed at the idea that Americans can’t find their choices at supermarkets, but the empty shelves have become so numerous as to defy denial. The media is starting to abandon the Democrats’ us-or-your-lyin’-eyes credibility test on the grocery-supply shortages. It’s going to get worse before it gets better, largely because of the CDC guidances on isolation over asymptomatic positives in the Omicron wave, as Slate’s Aaron Mak notes: Grocery stores and food supply chains have been stretching

As expected, President Biden and Vice President Harris visited the state of Georgia earlier today where a sometimes confused Biden gave a scripted, angry speech in which he did a complete 180 on his previous remarks from his decades as a Senator about preserving the filibuster, endorsing making whatever changes necessary to the Senate rules in order to, as he said it, “prevent a minority of Senators from blocking action on voting rights.” “When it comes to protecting majority rule in America, the majority should rule in the United States Senate,” he stated. Monday's incident, known as a full ground stop, was confirmed by officials at San Diego Airport. The stop only lasted for seven minutes, according to officials at San Diego International Airport. A spokesperson for the airport said they got the instruction of a national ground stop

President Biden declared on Tuesday that Democrats have “no option” but to change filibuster rules to pass a pair of voting bills, hours after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) warned the changes could “silence the voices of millions” of Americans. “I believe the threat to our democracy is so grave that we must find a way to pass these voting rights bills; debate them, vote, let the majority prevail,” Biden said in a speech at Morehouse College in Atlanta. “If that bare minimum is blocked, we have no option but to change the Senate rules including getting rid of the filibuster for this.”

Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett fired two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to help lift the Bulldogs to their first national championship since 1980, beating Alabama 33-18. After a questionable fumble call that led to an Alabama score earlier in the period, Bennett would regroup and toss a 40-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Adonai Mitchell to put the Bulldogs back up. Bennett would strike again later in the fourth with a 15-yard touchdown to Brock Bowers. With 3:33 left, Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Bryce Young would get the ball back to try to force overtime. Young would throw a Pick Six to Kelee Ringo, which would seal the deal.

The impression of desperate flailing had already been made on many Americans prior to this, but now media outlets like Axios have sat up and taken notice: While much of the unvaccinated population is unlikely to be persuaded by any messenger, large swaths of the public are still receptive to expert guidance, but federal health agencies, particularly the CDC, may be squandering their credibility with this population.

Old Joe Biden’s handlers are desperate to revive Barack Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, as Biden State Department wonk Ned Price has made clear: “We are prepared, as we have said, to lift sanctions that are inconsistent with the JCPOA,” that is, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which is the official name of the agreement Donald Trump quite rightly called the worst in history. Most Americans today have a romanticized (and extraordinarily narrow) historical understanding of the conflict that we call the Civil War. In their imaginations, it goes something like this: With passions inflamed by a moral renaissance in the North regarding the institution of slavery in the South, the two sides decided to go to war over the issue. In the end, the evil South was righteously razed by the armies of the North, and thus, slavery was ended, and the former slaves made American citizens, as Abraham Lincoln intended.

The new treatment is based off protein-based technology that has been used in other vaccines for decades and it does not use MRNA. India has already authorized production of 100 million doses per month of the new vaccine. Meanwhile, Texas scientists say not-for-profit vaccines will help defeat COVID-19 quicker.
