I followed up this morning on my post looking at the current New York Times story on the investigation of Project Veritas with PV attorney Paul Calli. I asked Mr. Calli for the questions submitted by the New York Times to PV and the response given to the Times, both of which were omitted from the story. Mr. Calli has provided the following as O’Keefe’s unquoted response to the questions submitted by the Times (the Times reporter addressed is Michael Schmidt). Mike, Mr. O’Keefe responds to your email on your deadline, as follows. Please include Mr. O’Keefe’s response in its entirety and do not selectively edit it:

President Joe Biden has experienced a tremendous drop in support among the younger demographic — those under the age of 30 — since taking office, a YouGov/Economist survey found.According to the Economist’s analysis of the data, “Mr Biden’s failure to impress the young now threatens his presidency,” as he has lost significant support since January. Currently, just 29 percent of adults under the age of 30 approve of Biden’s job performance, while half disapprove.“The net rating of -21 points is the worst for any age group,” the Economist found. However, his net approval is underwater with other age groups as well.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott debuted the first part of the state-made border wall Saturday, which he labeled a sharp rebuke of Biden’s "failure to do his job."Abbott authorized the building of the wall six months ago, and then authorized $3 billion funding for the Texas Facilities Commission to bolster the building effort. Abbott stressed that the wall stands on either state land or land that private owners agreed to hand over for the wall. "Texas is taking what truly is unprecedented action: A state to build a wall on our border, to safeguard the sovereignty of our state and of our nation," Abbott said during Saturday's press conference.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said that Democrats must focus on progressive priorities such as ending the filibuster and canceling student debt and that members of her party are "delusional" if they think they can win in 2022 without addressing these issues. The congresswoman claimed Friday in a Twitter thread that Democrats would have a poor showing in next year's midterm elections if they do not push progressive agenda items including student debt cancelations, ending the filibuster, passing the Build Back Better Act, allowing the child tax credit to expire and offering a path to citizenship.

Let me tell you, when someone you love and respect is being honored, in this case for the last time, it is insensitive, cruel, and disrespectful. For it to happen during a ceremony conducted by the Highest Office in the Nation that is meant to honor the sacrifice of a fallen soldier is doubly worse. That it happened more than once during the same ceremony and by the same man? That’s just despicable. Or as Hillary Clinton would say, “deplorable”. Already, hospitalizations are rising as the holiday season gets into full swing. Long lines for Covid-19 testing formed Thursday in metro areas, including New York, Boston and Miami. The Delta variant remains a problem. And Omicron, with its high transmissibility, could strike millions more soon, said Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota. The Times went on to suggest new policies for all sports leagues, including a long break followed by mask-wearing.

A video widely shared online falsely suggests COVID-19 vaccination is to blame, weaving headlines about him into a rapid-fire compilation of news coverage about athletes collapsing. The vaccine played no role in West’s death — he died from an undiagnosed heart condition in 2013, seven years before the pandemic began. The video is just one example of many similar compilations circulating on the internet that use deceptive tactics to link vaccines to a supposed wave of deaths,
