New York City Council Moves to Allow 800,000
Non-Citizens to Vote in Municipal Elections

The New York City Council will vote on December 9 on a law to allow green-card holders and residents with work permits to vote in municipal elections. Around 808,000 New York City residents who have work permits or are lawful permanent residents would be eligible to vote under the legislation, which has the support of 34 of 51 council members, a veto-proof majority. “It’s important for the Democratic Party to look at New York City and see that when voting rights are being attacked, we are expanding voter participation,” Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, a sponsor of the bill and Democrat who represents the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, told the New York Times.

This is a test, since it was also something the democrats expanded the use of green cards and work permits in their BBB scheme. They are hoping to do this everywhere, and will, unless Republicans include this in their 2022 election messaging. I do wonder if they also will be on the hook for any/all fees and taxes that are passed and apply to property owners. That they would also include any/all apartments and rentals. NYC has 8.8 million people and of that 808,000 have a green card or work permit?

All sorts of illegal aliens have “work permits” valid until they are actually removed from the USA. Many illegal aliens who unlawfully entered the USA recently with Biden’s blessings also have been granted “work permits” by the Biden crew. Is the New York City government going to set up a new voter registry apart from the voter registry that is used for State and Federal elections? The answer to that is give up a break. If they do you will here the sounds of a discrimination lawsuit being commenced shortly. This is just another action that Democrat operatives and politicians are using to stack the voter numbers in their favor.

Wonder how many of these non-citizens have a poor opinion of Communism? Would be ironic if they voted all the hardcore lefties out of office. Seriously, how many of these people came from oppressive countries, were victimized by their former governments, and would rather never return if given a chance? Of course, our government has been hard at work importing people that hate America, and would vote in Muslims, Communists, and Socialists.

Allowing non-citizens to vote in municipal elections goes way back in American history. Many cities had no voter qualifications except to be a male over 21 until the early 20th century. There were no green cards issued, no papers identifying immigrants except the ship manifest. You pass the eye test and you're in. Before Ellis Island all an immigrant had to do was get off the boat at Castle Garden. World War I ended all that.

While the news has been inundated with Kyle Rittenhouse trial reactions and the mass murder that took place in Waukesha, Joe Biden’s agenda continues to languish. After Nancy Pelosi forced through the “Build Back Better” bill last week, the administration is no closer to seeing it come to fruition in the Senate. Multiple things were included in the House version that Joe Manchin has already said represent a redline, including climate provisions and federal funding for abortions. Now, Manchin is making noise about the current gas-price crisis, and in doing so, he looks to have stumbled upon a major piece of leverage.

Over the last few days, the mainstream media have expressed jubilation at Joe Biden’s decision to release oil from the strategic reserves. The largely symbolic, wholly temporary move was made to try to relieve gas prices as people gear up to travel for the holiday season. After months of the press insisting that Biden had no control over gas prices, they are now praising him for supposedly lowering gas prices. Except, it looks like that’s not actually going to happen, at least not at the level hoped. Per a new report, Russia and Saudi Arabia are gearing up to undercut Biden’s political ploy,

The 50 million barrels of oil that Joe Biden has ordered released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve will largely go to China and India, according to Fox Business News. About 18 million barrels of that oil have been earmarked for sale by Congress. The other 32 million barrels will go to the American consumer. Since the oil in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is what’s known as “sour” crude — oil with large levels of sulfur that makes it more expensive to refine — it’s far more attractive to foreign buyers like China because it’s relatively inexpensive compared to the “sweet” crude that’s easier to turn into gasoline at the refinery.

Magdalena Andersson, leader of the Social Democrats, was selected in a Riksdag (Parliament) vote as Sweden’s 34th Prime Minister on Wednesday morning, replacing outgoing migrant-crisis era leader of the Social Democrat Stefan Löfven. Yet just hours later the Speaker of Riksdag announced the search for another new Prime Minister would begin after Andersson’s government collapsed before she’d even had chance to be sworn into the role.

Two Netflix employees filed labor complaints against the company with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). B. Pagels-Minor, a black non-binary program manager organized a walkout. President Biden held what we were told was a “press conference” today in which he gaslit the country once again by telling struggling Americans that everything was going to be okay, portraying himself as a hero for all, and not shouldering one iota of the blame for the rising cost of everything including the food items people are buying in order to prepare their Thanksgiving dinners. In addition to that was the usual generous helping of out and out incoherence, something that has become a staple at any public event where the current Oval Office occupant opens his mouth to speak. Nationwide average energy prices have shot up 70.63% since Joe took office back in January, going from $2.40 a gallon on Jan. 25, to $3.40 a gallon today, according to AAA data. In the eight western-most states in the union, plus Pennsylvania, the average goes as high as $4.71 a gallon. That comes on top of a record 69% rise in oil prices that occurred in the interim between Joe's "election" and the day Joe took office. That kind of pricing is known in markets as "anticipatory."
