New Botswana variant with 32 'horrific'
mutations is the most evolved Covid strain
EVER and could be 'worse than Delta' —
as expert says it may have emerged in
an HIV patient

British experts have sounded the alarm over a new Covid variant believed to have emerged in Botswana that is the most mutated version of the virus yet. Only 10 cases of the strain, which could eventually be named 'Nu', have been detected so far. But it has already been spotted in three countries, suggesting the variant is more widespread. It carries 32 mutations, many of which suggest it is highly transmissible and vaccine-resistant, and has more alterations to its spike protein than any other variant.(Snip)Dr Tom Peacock, a virologist at Imperial College who first picked up on its spread, described the variant's combination of mutations as 'horrific'.

Comments:

A never-ending series of shots and boosters and lockdowns is what we need. People are reacting nicely to the panic, so wait and see what they will offer next after a few years more of this psychological torture.

Oh good so with those kinds of mutations the "vaccines" truly become useless. Can we stop with the vaccine pushing nonsense now?

COVID is here to stay. It's not going anywhere, ever. We have to learn to live with it, just like the flu. Just like pneumonia. Just like every other disease. We all need to make our own risk assessments, and live our lives accordingly. The government should help, but the government is not responsible for fixing this problem, or most other problems. It's part of life. And oh, by the way, We still need to punish China for all of this.

All RNA viruses mutate continuously because single RNA is unstable, has no backup copy double stranded like DNA does. Mutations are a certainty, a guaranteed event. In general, the mutations which are "successful" are those variations which are less lethal and more easily transmitted. This is the normal path of a virus. The more lethal varieties are self limiting. People who are very sick and quickly die cannot as easily transmit the virus. Lethal mutations are an dead end path. Variants which make you slightly sick or without any symptoms....you walk around spreading. This is how the less lethal variants always become dominant in the long run. Don't freak out at mutations. NOTHING can prevent them. And, in general, they will lead to less harmful variants. The facts are well known in the study of pandemics. I first read this in the 1990s in a book on pandemics. Nothing new, or "recently discovered" here.

The Chinese Molecular Biologists outdid themselves. It is well established that in AIDS patients viruses mutate like crazy because they are unopposed. It is like having a chain of transmission though many generations of of mice with Human ACE receptors in the Wuhan lab. The Chinese inserted an improved SARS-1 Spike protein into EcoR1 and BstE cloning sites of a secret bat virus. If they had given US the sequence of the original backbone vector they used in the lab we could have much better vaccines and Rapid Antigen Tests. China will sooner or later have to pay for what they did to the world. The Global American Empire is happy to have complete control of our human Freedom but this is very short sided and the Illuminati will pay too. Did you know you can buy two Rapid Antigen Tests in your local pharmacy for $48? Much better than PCR and you get results on viral protein in 10 minutes, just like a pregnancy test.

Bullwinkle's flying friend brought back memories of Papa Doc Duvalier, who in 1964 declared himself, like Casper the Friendly Ghost, to be an immaterial being (e.g., an assassin's bullet couldn't touch him). He would sit in the bath and engage in learned discourses with the severed heads of his opponents. That must've been quite the visual for his Haitian servants. Maybe it's time for another meeting of the Joint Committee on International Hysteria@reg so Democrats (mainly) can get the constriction band nice and tight, watch the blood back up into the syringe before the injection of pure funk, and mainline their fear fix.

Just an observation but it appears the more people that are vaccinated the more mutations appear. And more people have died since vaccinations began than prior. And - as prevalent as the bug is why haven't they defined the genome(s) and created a true vaccine? Money and power? and perhaps some population reduction? time will tell.

Exactly how bad has Delta been? Yes, I guess, a lot of cases but the COVID death rate continues to drop precipitously. The fact is that any RNA virus, like the flu and covid will mutate. Very, very, rarely are the mutations more dangerous than the parent.

A major exodus of migrants is underway from Belarus to Iraq as Poland claims victory in the battle for control of Europe's borders. ICE authorized just 20,858 arrests in the six months after the Biden administration announced new rules restricting which illegal immigrants could be targeted—or an average of just one arrest every two months for each deportation officer. That’s down exponentially from the Trump years, when the rate averaged two arrests each month, and it’s even worse compared to the peak Obama years, when the ratio was about four arrests each month. But even though U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says it’s catching fewer people overall, it’s arresting more aggravated felons, which ICE says is proof the new rules are working to allow officers to focus on the most valuable targets.

Court records show that the suspect in a fatal shooting early this month in South Lubbock is William Kyle Carruth, a land developer and the ex-husband of the judge for the 72nd District Court in Lubbock and Crosby counties. Carruth’s lawyers who shot and killed a woman’s ex-husband after a heated confrontation outside their home say the killing was a “justifiable homicide” under the state’s self-defence laws. Police have not laid any charges against William “Kyle” Carruth, who shot and killed Chad Read, 54, in the north-western city of Lubbock on November 5, local media reported.
