Why Is No One Talking About FX’s 'Impeachment' Series?

Original Article

Now that I am seven episodes in, I feel confident saying that “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” airing Tuesday evenings on FX, is the fairest and arguably the best real-life political drama Hollywood has ever produced. What mystifies me is that no one on the Right appears to be talking about it. The third in the “American Crime Story” series, this 10-part drama faithfully tracks the perjury and obstruction of justice scandal that very nearly ended the Bill Clinton presidency. (snip) “Impeachment” takes candor a step further and deconstructs the Left’s revisionist history of Bill Clinton’s “sex” scandal.

Show is amusing, could do without L Goldberg F-bombs though. Actor playing Bildo (Billy Jeff) does a good "job".

Why? I can tell you why. It’s because it’s the exact same narrative we heard back in the 1990s from the Clinton administration and the demedia. Republicans were evil, nasty villains hatching plots to get poor Bill, who was just trying his darnedest to do great things for the American people. Paula Jones was hustling for money (as was her lawyer, and her husband), Susan McDougal was a saint, Ken Star was was a dolt and his minions were Nazis, Ann Coulter was vicious, Linda Tripp was an ugly, fat, mean backstabber, Hillary was level-headed, and Miss Lucianne was a opportunistic predator. That’s it. After all these years of hindsight, that’s the best they could do. If you are one of many who spotted these grifters the moment they came on the scene, it will make you angry all over again.

I have respect for this writer. I had assumed that the series’ aim was to rewrite history for those too young to have lived it. So i am grateful to read this. I lived through it and have no desire to experience it again. I could not stand to look at even an actor portraying clitton for any length of time. If his goofball visage ever appears on screen i am immediately reminded of all the sick aspects of this world.

Why? Because Slick Willy and his impeachment saga is so 1998. We all lived through it, we know what happened (hat tip to Miss Lucianne!) and we have no need to watch a dramatization of it.

I've got a better question. Why isn't anyone paying attention to the NOVA documentary on the north pole ice cap? SHOCKING PBS NOVA I ALMOST NEVER POST ANYTHING, SO YOU KNOW THIS IS IMPORTANT. I just watched PBS's NOVA: https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/ This documentary was all about the North Pole ice cap. It contains several shocking discoveries. But I'll cut right to the chase. The documentary reveals that the polar ice cap is not miles thick, it's not even hundreds of feet thick, it's just about 30 feet thick. ALSO in 2019 the ice cap was almost completely melted, but because it is so thin THERE WAS NO SEA RISE. The documentary states that there were pools of open water at the north pole in 2019. So all the hype about Global Warming melting the ice caps and causing a 200 foot rise in oceans was based on completely erroneous information about the thickness of the north pole ice cap. AGAIN, I REPEAT, IN 2019 THE POLAR ICE CAP COMPLETELY MELTED AND THERE WAS NO CORRESPONDING RISE IN SEA LEVELS. THIS IS NOT MY OPINION. THIS IS WHAT NOVA HAS REPORTED. Please watch the NOVA link I have posted. You will be shocked.

In the series Linda Tripp nails it when she recalls that Reagan always wore a suit in the Oval Office and Bush wrote letters to the families of fallen servicemen while Clinton used it to have the first vulnerable girl he met perform oral sex- she was more graphic. It portrays the Clintons as lying ,conniving vipers- I highly recommend the series especially for Clinton sycophants.

We watch "Impeachment".. It can't hide the fact that this documents the moment in history when the press threw fully in with leftist activism. First and foremost, the press lives for blood in the water and the initial Lewinsky revelations were just that. The press collectively held their breath waiting for Bubba to fall. But no! Even after the blue dress, Clinton doubled down, he stayed. The press swooned over his in-your-facedness and they became his -- and the left's -- b itch. The press as fourth branch of government was dead forever now. And yes, #7, "Impeachment" is filled with clumsy caricatures, particularly comical is Paula Jones' comic giant honker. Ryan Murphy isn't fooling anyone, just throwing more red meat.

Here’s a perspective from my youngest daughter. She was too young to remember or know about Slick Willie and Monica. Watching the show so far, she has found out how sleazy Bill was and still is. She also said she felt sorry for Linda Tripp because Tripp thought she would be betrayed as helping Monica, but instead was made fun of. I am hoping Hillary is nailed in the upcoming episodes. The actress playing Monica is good, but sure makes her look ugly which makes Bill look like he will grab anyone and everyone

In a recent article, the brilliant commentator Victor David Hanson asks, "What is behind recent pessimistic appraisals of democracy's future from Hillary Clinton, Adam Schiff, Brian Williams, and other elite intellectuals and media personalities?" His answer to this question is "that the left expects to lose power over the next two years[.]" Perhaps — but on the other hand, maybe the leftists' "pessimistic appraisals" are more of a verbal ploy to suggest they are concerned about democracy when in actuality they are participating in an attempt to enact a coup against democracy, against our beloved republic.

The House of Representatives has passed a bill that seeks to eradicate blasphemy against Islam. The bill, H.R. 5665, is truly remarkable as it amounts to Congress making a law respecting the establishment of Islam and reducing the United States government into a tool of the world’s ayatollahs. The actual text of the bill not only seeks to eradicate blasphemy against Islam around the world – and solely against Islam at that – but even requires the federal government to reorganize some portions of the State Department along the lines of an Islamic religious institution which will be responsible for interpreting the Quran.

Congress, never high in the public’s estimation to begin with, fell from 26 percent to a mere 12 percent. The Supreme Court has also taken a hit, down from 50 percent to 36 percent during the same period.
