Washington Post: Americans Should ‘Try
to Lower Expectations,’ Accept Biden’s
Supply Chain Crisis

Original Article

In what seems like an attempt to distance President Joe Biden from the supply chain crisis ravaging the country and the globe, the Washington Post — which is owned by Jeff Bezos, one of the richest men in the world — published an op-ed on Monday telling American consumers to “try to lower expectations” moving forward. “Rather than living constantly on the verge of throwing a fit, and risking taking it out on overwhelmed servers, struggling shop owners or late-arriving delivery people, we’d do ourselves a favor by consciously lowering expectations,” Micheline Maynard wrote for the Post.

Americans are obviously lowering their expectations about the Biden presidency as demonstrated by the latest polls. They have already dismissed any expectation that the liberal media will report how bad things really are.

This is the year of lower expectations. No less a light than the great philosopher Jeff Bezos has recommended it. He once opined ''Blessed is he that expects nothing for he shall not be disappointed!'' That became the mantra of the worst president to ever inhabit the basement of the White House.

I agree with the writer......we should not be "taking it out on overwhelmed servers, struggling shop owners or late-arriving delivery people". Address the problem head on......with the folks responsible. This country's outlook 18 months ago was bright......and getting brighter. We were exporting oil, prices for consumer goods were low, plenty of consumer products for all. High employment, low unemployment. Things were good, and getting better. Then? This joke of an Administration comes along. With a stumbling, fumbling, bumbling, never accomplished anything of note in his life, plagiarizing goof of a President, a clueless, cackling airhead VP, and a Cabinet whose greatest claim to fame is their collective weirdness. 81MILLION votes my @$$. We're in a supply chain crisis......and the Secretary of Transportation takes two months off so his "husband" can have a baby? It's no wonder the rest of the world laughs at us.

Too funny! They pushed these idiots in the White House as they would solve all the ills of our country and now they day we need to overlook their horrible performance. Right. Good thing for the Washington Pravda that they are owned by a billionaire who can afford to keep them in business,, otherwise it wouldn't be long before they drop off the scene.

I have lowered my expectations to the point where poor service is better than no service. I am thankful I can be seated at a restaurant rather than it being shut down due to lack of staffing. The democrats have the White House, Senate and House. Expectations are as low as they can go. I should expect an uptick in the enjoyment life, liberty and the American way, but that does not appear to be in site. We need a change of leadership in Washington. Leadership that puts America First! Let's Go Brandon!

Don't you just the Obamaesque choice presented to you by the Washington Post -- abuse servers or love your new utopia? How about a third option -- condemn progressive ideology that's destroying America? I went to a Utah State liquor store on Saturday at 1:05 p.m. The sign on the door said they had closed at 1:00 for lack of staffing. You can't even make money with a monopoly market under Democrat rule.

Sorry WaPo but low expectations are what created the Third World. You know, those people who are fleeing failed governments to sneak across our border? America rose to greatness and we will not let some low-IQ communist foreigner like Obama or some tin-horn horse's patoot like Biden take us down from that mountain. FJB and the horse he rode in on.

Sure the WAPO and Amazon's Jeff Bezos have no problem with this supply chain disruption. According to a Conservative Treehouse article posted here a few days ago, Amazon saw this coming after CA and the EPA banned owner-operators and trucks over 3 yrs. old from the ports. Amazon (and other large retailers) has made other arrangements, bypassing CA, and giving Amazon an edge. They are profiting from this situation!! Lower expectations? The Xiden admin. is already lower than whale droppings, IMO. Democrats are corrupt, evil, and election stealers, and it boggles my mind that people still vote for them.

For the last several centuries, each generation has been better off than the previous one. And now the evil Marxists tell us that that is over, they are wrecking things so thoroughly that we can't be better off, in fact we can't even 'hold what we've got'....but we have to settle for LESS and then even less next year, and even less than that the following year. Perhaps DC Comics’ woke agenda will be its own kryptonite. One can only hope. In the latest chapter of the comic book company’s Marxist rehabilitation of Superman, a gentleman who actually works on the comic book illustrations for the Man of Steel is quitting the company. Only in the last couple weeks has the full weight of woke propaganda crushed America’s most beloved superhero. Washington — The House voted Thursday to hold Steve Bannon, a longtime ally and aide to former President Donald Trump, in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena from the committee investigating the violent Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection. In a rare show of bipartisanship on the House floor, the committee’s Democratic chairman, Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson, led the floor debate along with Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, one of two Republicans on the panel. Still, the vote was 229-202 with most GOP lawmakers voting “no,” despite the potential consequences for Congress if witnesses are allowed to ignore its demands. The House vote sends the matter to the U.S. attorney’s office

How do you know that Democrats think they will lose the House majority in the midterms? Because they are already crafting the excuse. Earlier this week, failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams was stumping for Terry McCullough in Virginia. Once again, she was confident she should be the governor of Georgia and would have been if not for voter suppression. Then Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer brought S. 2747, also known as the Freedom to Vote Act, up for a cloture vote. Republicans filibustered the bill, unanimously voting against it. The bill is Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-W.Va.) “compromise” legislation

The group is apparently angered by Sinema’s opposition to nuking the filibuster, raising taxes, and enacting massive welfare subsidies not seen since the 1960s

“No.” It’s pretty much what Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos told the employees who are demanding the company cave to demands for standing by Dave Chappelle’s latest comedy special, and it’s not a crowd used to hearing this kind of response from corporations. Especially corporations like Netflix. Sarandos was definitely more corporate with his response even apologizing for the way he “screwed up” in the internal memo and seeming insensitive to those who were “in pain” over Chappelle’s special “The Closer” which angered the LGBT community, specifically the “T” part of that group. Regardless, Sarandos shot down these demands and couched his refusals in very corporate-safe

As they seek to finalize President Joe Biden’s social spending plan by the end of the week, Sinema (D-Ariz.) remains opposed to one of the party's chief goals of raising tax rates on high-income earners and corporations, a long-sought objective since former President Donald Trump signed his 2017 tax cut law. Now, party leaders are working behind the scenes to target the wealthy and corporate America without crossing what increasingly appears like a red line to Sinema, according to Democratic lawmakers and aides following the bill.
