Why is Pete Buttigieg still the Secretary

Pete Buttigieg has been away from his desk at the Department of Transportation for two months and no one noticed until this week. He’s been home on paternity leave since the birth of his twins. Normally, we might just shrug our shoulders and say who cares? These are not normal times, though, and there is a transportation crisis going on that has to be handled. The supply chain is facing severe disruption and cargo ships are backed up trying to get their goods unloaded in American ports, especially in California. Where’s Pete? Politico had a piece about Pete going missing, having only now realized it, too, apparently. The liberal site dragged

Why is Joe Biden still called "The President?" $400,000.00 a year for sometimes showing up a couple of hours a day to give an angry, condescending speech, sleeping on the job much of the time and being rushed back to Delaware every weekend to receive his meds cocktails. Not to mention the fact that the American people did not elect him.

I suppose I don't mind parental leave (paid is another question), but a simple issue presents itself: Did this baby need TWO men lolling around the house with him all day, sticking a bottle in his mouth for a cute photo shoot? Couldn't Buttigeg's amour have stayed with the kid, allowing Buttigeg to work for his pay and our country? Isn't that how "hardworking American parents" (rhapsodized about by rich Democrats who knew nothing of them) handle these things every day of their lives? I ask: What "important" job does Buttigeg's co-parent have, that he couldn't have stayed home with the baby (and the inevitable maid) himself? I doubt whether the co-parent's gig involves administering a national supply chain that has collapsed, threatening 350 million Americans with a cold, hungry winter . . . The fact that Buttigeg isn't publicly humiliated and fired is a disgrace to our country.

Perhaps DC Comics’ woke agenda will be its own kryptonite. One can only hope. Washington — The House voted Thursday to hold Steve Bannon, a longtime ally and aide to former President Donald Trump, in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena from the committee investigating the violent Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection. In a rare show of bipartisanship on the House floor, the committee’s Democratic chairman, Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson, led the floor debate along with Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, one of two Republicans on the panel. Still, the vote was 229-202 with most GOP lawmakers voting “no,” despite the potential consequences for Congress if witnesses are allowed to ignore its demands. The House vote sends the matter to the U.S. attorney’s office

The letter said that the acts of some parents at school board meetings across the country could be considered "a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes." The emails also show

How do you know that Democrats think they will lose the House majority in the midterms? Because they are already crafting the excuse. Earlier this week, failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams was stumping for Terry McCullough in Virginia. Once again, she was confident she should be the governor of Georgia and would have been if not for voter suppression. Then Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer brought S. 2747, also known as the Freedom to Vote Act, up for a cloture vote. Republicans filibustered the bill, unanimously voting against it. Especially corporations like Netflix. Sarandos was definitely more corporate with his response even apologizing for the way he “screwed up” in the internal memo and seeming insensitive to those who were “in pain” over Chappelle’s special “The Closer” which angered the LGBT community, specifically the “T” part of that group. As they seek to finalize President Joe Biden’s social spending plan by the end of the week, Sinema (D-Ariz.) remains opposed to one of the party's chief goals of raising tax rates on high-income earners and corporations, a long-sought objective since former President Donald Trump signed his 2017 tax cut law. Republicans countered that the law represents a federal takeover of elections that should be controlled by the states.
