Chaos caused by Southwest Airlines cancellations is set to enter a fourth day on Tuesday after the airline warned it is still working on the problems that triggered hundreds of flight cancellations. The third straight day of canceled and delayed flights left passengers stranded and steaming from California to the East Coast, with pictures from airports showing long queues and children sleeping on the floor. More than 350 flights on Monday were cancelled by the Texas airline following a weekend of major disruptions that it blamed on bad weather and air traffic control issues - but was the only airline to face problems on such a scale.
I always preferred Southwest. If I ever fly again, it will be on Southwest.
I feel sure they will be the first airline to restore freedom to their passengers
who are "yearning to breathe free"..

They must be getting some real nasty weather down there in Florida. The average hurricane only disrupts things for about two days. Everybody concerned is trying to hide the fact that this is a citizen revolt against the Biden dictatorial overreach.

Xiden's next step: Declare a national emergency, a "human infrastructure shortage." The police will show up at your door, warn you of your "rights," they will tell you that you must return to work and get the jab, and if you don't comply, you are handcuffed and taken to jail.
I believe we will be treated as "enemies of the state," and eventually transferred from the local jail to an internment camp.

I live in Central Florida, about an Hour and a Half from Orlando. We haven't had any bad weather around here during their massive slowdown. Maybe they did in the Northern part of FL, but according to the Orlando Weather (that we get on our News) there isn't much going on. I don't think Weather is the Problem. I think it's a Pilot problem. They are calling in sick to protest the Vaccine Mandate by Southwest. So, I don't see the Southwest Problem getting fixed anytime soon. They are losing their Pilots who refuse the Vaccine. You don't go out and just hire fully trained pilots to replace them. It takes a long time to train them. We have always flown on Southwest, but I don't think I would book a trip anytime soon on their Airline. I think their problem is going to on and on!!

I'm wondering whether most of the folks who remain unvaccinated are concerned about the blood clotting issues (or others) surrounding the vaccinations. The article says that the pilots are walking out because the vaccine is mandated, but Southwest is refusing to negotiate medical or disability coverage for illnesses or disabilities resulting from the vaccines. I have a good friend who was hospitalized twice for blood clots in the month following his receiving the Pfizer vaccine.
I'm tired of hearing the government insisting that the vaccines are "safe and reliable."

We’re going to see what type of Management is running SWA in the next week. The Founders are gone, now there is the ‘Professional’ management. Are they Globalist tools? Time to draw the line and see who steps across? ESP now TX Gov Abbott’s Executive Order gives SWA and AMR tower to oppose xi-Biden China-virus Jab.

It's High Noon. Will SW management concede? Is it worth it for them to forfeit their woke credentials?

It’s time for Southwest to tell the truth. Everyone knows why they are cancelling flights. They are trying to keep their stock price from taking a dump because there is no end in sight and no solution to this until Southwest’s management gets their heads out of their asses and stops taking unconstitutional orders from Dementia Joe,

We need a national strike by the nation's producers and workers - for a week. Shut down all transportation of people and goods. Block the interstates with big rigs at strategic interchanges. Shut this country down. It and our "elites" need the shock. So, if you're wanting to rush out and water that tree of liberty with blood...rally to the cause - with a national strike.

Working on problems? The problem is vaccine mandates. Eliminate that, and your problems are solved. There I solved your problems. Your welcome.

Southwest looking for the problem to solve it. Let me give them a clue 'vaccine mandate' or no work for you with Southwest.
The new pandemic, vaccine revolt is spreading across the country so don't look for a problem when you know who and what caused it. FJB

A problem created by Southwest management by issuing their vaccine mandate. A fast solution to their "weather problem" would be to immediately rescind the mandate and be grateful for the employees that they have who return to work!

Apparently it is not anything to do with vaccine mandates. The pilots are saying it is an IT problem and they knew about it, warned about it and didn't do anything to improve the outdated system.

#15 Sorry to post twice but the ‘IT problem’ excuse is BS. It is used fairly frequently and seldom true. I retired from a 35 year career in IT. I know how it works. Facebook just got away with it. They were hacked. Guaranteed. You do not make major network changes and then reboot hoping for the best. No failover, no backup plan, no disaster recovery? Lol Do not be taken in by this.

This airline has federal contracts. The CEO is now forced to choose between the company's employees or the government. Won't be the last CEO to be put into this position.
