Road rages can often turn out to be quite dangerous especially for elderlies. Senior citizens are at a huge risk of getting their cars stolen by young thieves who can easily overpower the elderly or by younger people who can try and attack them.
However, not all senior citizens are easy targets because this incident that happened is proof that sometimes people pick the wrong person to mess with.
We have a received a footage showing an 82-year-old man fighting off a immigrant who tried to attack him in his car.

No way that guy with the gun was 82, and who can tell if the other guy is illegal?
However, this is still a pleasant turn of events.

The average response time across the country to a 911 call is 15 minutes. The average velocity of a 357 magnum weapon is 1500 ft per second. Which one would you want? Regarding the video, that's what I would call an attention getter.

When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

This senior citizen would have had the gun out of its holster pointed at the ground while the evil doer ran away! I would never chase someone but would cover my 6 looking for “friends” of the bad guy!

Same logic applies to woman, wife, sister, daughter, son, and child. The great force equalizer that is compact, can be used to inflict up to 17 attackers with one regular 9 mm magazine. In Texas, castle doctrine applies to your car, so if this guy opened my car door and I was in fear of my life or bodily harm, I could have opened fire on him right then & there.

All these people questioning the person's age lead me to one question. Why are you questioning his age and agility to your own age and agility? My comment: he may have taken care of himself very well.
I find another thing very confusing. For the longest time we kept hearing that we need to let the police take care of situations and we should not take situations into our own hands. Now we are being told that we need to defund the police. Could the liberals please make up their minds?

Enough with the immigrant crap. This POS is an illegal. Hunting season is always open for that kind of game.

Poster 2 & 8, my step father is about 86 I believe and he looks to be 20 years younger and yes he could move that fast. Personally, I am so glad that Iowa is now a constitutional carry state. For the first time I am cautious about going into Des Moines or places I am not familiar with. My mom says I am fearless, but not so much any more.

2A allows firearm ownership. Sadly, he cannot freely stow a gun in his car console without a concealed carry permit in the state's that allow it.

This perp is lucky the gentleMAN (correct term - reporter needs an editor) did not shoot him. IMO it would have been justified.

My .38 S&W sits just under my hand in my car’s console. I live in a relatively safe area but I am 80 years old and there are bad people everywhere. I-75 runs by my city and it’s like a never ending sewer of drug mules, violent felons, etc. and some will inevitably stop for a meal or overnight. This country was a lot safer 50 years ago but the left is turning it into a violent s***h***.

A shame the person in the vehicle filming didn't open the passenger door quickly as the perp ran away. It would have nailed the perp.

I'm in my 70s and can move like that guy with the gun, but I also don't think he's 82.

The harasser was running too fast for them to ask him if he was illegal. Maybe they have footage of him running all the way to the border. Ha!
