South Pole posts most severe cold season
on record, an anomaly in a warming world

Amid a record hot summer in large parts of Northern Hemisphere, beset by devastating fires, floods and hurricanes, Antarctica was mired in a deep, deep freeze. That’s typically the case during the southernmost continent’s winter months, but 2021 was different. The chill was exceptional, even for the coldest location on the planet.

Amazing how this article is littered with phrases such as exceptional and anomaly. This is the winter at the South Pole for Gods sake. Its supposed to be cold.

Most of the time, the weather is just the weather, nothing sinister. It is cold in the winter, hot in the summer. Sometimes it is a little warmer or colder than normal during any season. This does not mean the world is ending, it just mean that the weather changed for that particular point in time and will go back to its "normal" parameters eventually. The world is not ending. It is just the weather. It will do what it has done since the beginning of time on tis planet.

The theory of greenhouse effect says that as greenhouse gases rise the most notabey temperature difference will be in the arctic regions. This is because there is little to counter the solar energy. Less cloud cover, vegetation, etc. This was already found to be contraindicative, so has been suppressed. Climate change (tm) doncha know.

Hot summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Unusually cold in Antarctica. So it's half global warming.

I've always said that the BS about global warming is dangerous because it distracts from the real problem; natural climate shift. Did man-made global warming end the last ice age? Of course not, it was a natural shift in climate, something that happens every so often and has for billions of years. While leftists are babbling on about global warming, corn will no longer grow in Iowa and wheat will no longer grow in Kansas and cotton will no longer grow here in Alabama, etc. The real problem we confront is learning where, in 50 years, corn and cotton and wheat etc. will grow, and forgetting about "global warming."

According to settled science, solar activity has the most influence on our climates, and the current minimum sunspot activity indicates we are likely entering a very cold phase for climate. Its happened very consistently in geologic history. So cold at Antarctica is not an anomaly at all.

It's not an anomaly. The government agencies just haven't had time to "correct" the data yet.

There you go folks. A warming world causes cold. When it gets cold this winter it is because of warming.

LOL! They're going to hang onto rheir stupid lie, regardless of the facts. The sun spots have been steadily growing declining for nearly half a century. They indicate long term cooling. But who thinks that big yellow ball of fire in the sky has anything to do with the weather? 🤣 I do.

Damn those computer simulations ! We were supposed to be in a barren, withered wasteland by now. Heck we're coming up on 10 years overdue. We don't want Al Gore to have to give back his Nobel Prize for "An Inconvenient Truth". And bring on an annual polar bear hunt ! Their populations keep rising and we need to limit their numbers. It's bad for publicity.

I remember hearing that once explorers in the Antarctic were trapped and died because of the weather. It had changed and they couldn’t get out. One hundred years later, another group of explorers found the remains. Apparently they’d all starved to death. Curiously, however, the second group of explorers found fruit cakes amongst the remains in the camp. Those who starved preferred death over eating fruit cake! Fruit cake, anyone??

The mask is totally off. Dr. Fauci on Friday delivered a virtual lecture to Canadians at McGill University titled “Covid-19: Lessons Learned and Remaining Challenges.” Fauci, an unelected bureaucrat, had a message to Canadians who oppose authoritarian vaxx mandates: You have no right to make your own decision about what goes into your body. “I think what people have to appreciate is that indeed you do have personal liberties for yourself, and you should be in control of them,” Fauci said before telling people they have to take the jab for the greater good of society.

The union that represents some of Hollywood's most important workers has voted to approve a strike in a move that could shut down nearly all US film and television production. Members of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE), which covers camera crews, prop masters, hairdressers and other craft workers say they are being worked to death with gruelling hours and no guaranteed rest or meal breaks. Members are demanding better work conditions, as well as fairer pay from streaming services to cover their share of labour. Over 50,000 workers voted overwhelmingly - 98% in favour to 2% against

After the patron saint of restricting Americans’ freedoms suggested we might need to cancel Christmas, I suppose this shouldn’t come as all that much of a surprise. The CDC is announcing today that they are recommending that Americans celebrate Thanksgiving virtually again this year. You probably don’t need me to tell you that this is one turkey of an idea that Joe Biden isn’t going to be able to make fly. But the new guidelines have all sorts of unpleasant nuggets built into them for any of you dangerous people who still insist on carving up the turkey with your family. Oh, and you have to scroll

With all the different people involved in the current chaos going on in Washington, one name you wouldn’t expect to hear is Hillary Clinton. After all, she’s not a relevant figure outside of her cult fan base. Yet, the two-time failed presidential candidate — who lost the 2016 election and then blamed Russia for four years — decided to weigh in, and I’m pretty sure she’s lost her mind. Trump well and truly broke this woman. [Tweet] Before we get to Hillary, I just want to point out that this staff writer for The Atlantic claims to be genuinely afraid of the fall of our government and “minority rule.”

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden on Monday urged Republican senators to “get out of the way” and let Democrats suspend the nation’s debt limit, hoping to keep the U.S. government from bumping dangerously close to a credit default as Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell refuses to lend his party’s help. Biden’s criticism came with Congress facing an Oct 18 deadline to allow for more borrowing to keep the government operating after having accrued a total public debt of $28.4 trillion. The House has passed a measure to suspend the debt limit, but McConnell is forcing Senate Democrats into a cumbersome
