America’s founding fathers named three essential rights to which all men were entitled: Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It’s as profound as it is simple. At this very moment, though, all three of these fundamental, God-given rights are under a full assault by the left. In the more-frequent political conversations in which I find myself nowadays (not because I initiate them or even want to have them, but because leftists can’t help but pontificate about their virtuous superiority), one of my go-to responses takes a very macro approach of the world.

MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle slammed Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday for neglecting her duty as “border czar” during the ongoing crisis at the southern border.
“How about the message from our vice president, where is she? She was supposed to be in charge of all of these migration issues, going to those Northern Triangle countries that’s obviously not Haiti, that was one of her first international trips with the message do not come here illegally,” Ruhle said on MSNBC.
“People aren’t listening. What is she saying now?” she added.
If you want to know what women want, don’t go to the movies; go to the gun store. However, American women are not waiting for a birthday or Christmas to get their hands on a firearm; they are trekking to their local gun shop and plunking down credit cards in record numbers. Can you say, “Charge it”?

It’s gratifying to see the Wall Street Journal and The Hill catching up with news sites like Liberty Nation, which noted the uptick in women purchasing handguns back in March. We also pointed out that racial diversity among gun owners is changing along gender lines, with blacks leading the charge:

The Rolling Stone story reported that the number of Ivermectin drug overdoses have so overwhelmed hospitals that gunshot victims have been unable to get medical treatment. Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic drug that has a human version but is more commonly used for deworming livestock.
In an interview with local Southeastern Oklahoma station KFOR, a rural Oklahoma physician Dr. Jason McElyea spread many of the same falsehoods.
Pro sports teams in Texas refusing to play the national anthem will be making a very expensive decision.
According to Outkick, a new Texas law took effect September 1 that requires all pro sports teams to play the national anthem or repay any government money received. Seeing as how most pro sports arenas are at least publicly funded in part, teams that refuse to play the national anthem could be on the hook for an outrageous amount of money. For those of you who might not remember, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban tried to stop his team from playing the national anthem and his choice caused massive backlash.
Just about every American Presidency has a singular, “defining moment.” It may be a prolonged affair such as the thirteen days of mettle which made up The Cuban Missile Crisis for the gutsy John F. Kennedy, or the 444 days of utter ineptitude and indecisiveness by the pusillanimous Jimmy Carter. Contrarily, a defining moment may come in the form of a single decision and its precise implementation as we saw with Harry S. Truman opting to bomb Hiroshima, or perhaps with a quote followed by world-changing events as witnessed by Ronald Reagan’s, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”
The Associated Press and Reuters signed a deal with Twitter to help them “elevate credible information,” the social media site and the outlets announced Monday.
Twitter said in a blog post that the outlets would help in providing context to trending content and identifying potentially misleading information. The outlets will help expand Twitter’s efforts to explain trends or other popular information, “especially where facts are in dispute.”
CNN’s Jake Tapper claimed in an interview published Wednesday that lies about the 2020 presidential election are comparable to denying the Holocaust.
The anchor was interviewed by Mother Jones Editor-in-Chief Clara Jeffery, where he was asked about the “Big Lie.” Tapper said he would not book Republicans on his show who claimed widespread voter fraud caused the 2020 presidential election to be “stolen” from former President Donald Trump.

President Biden slammed Border Patrol agents filmed on horseback attempting to stop migrants from crossing the Rio Grande into Texas, saying they would “pay” for their actions.
“It was horrible to see what you saw, to see people treated like they did—horses barely running them over people being strapped,” Biden said at a press conference at the White House on Friday. “It’s outrageous. I promise you those people will pay.”
Biden added, “There will be consequences. It’s an embarrassment. But beyond an embarrassment is dangerous, it’s wrong.”
White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced Thursday that Border Patrol agents will no longer be permitted to use horses to guard the border in Del Rio, Texas, after “horrific” photos emerged of agents swinging long reins while interacting with Haitian migrants.
The announcement comes after the media caused a frenzy by falsely portraying the videos and photos as showing agents hitting the migrants with whips. It was later revealed that the agents were in fact wielding the long reins that make it easier to maintain control of their horses, according to Border Control chief Raul Ortiz.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in traveled to Hawaii on Wednesday to repatriate the remains of American service members. Not a single representative from the Biden Administration showed up.

According to the attached news article these were South Korean citizens who fought alongside US soldiers and lived in Hawaii.
Why has the federal government been trying so hard to keep surveillance footage of January 6th under wraps? Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is warning the Republican Party that staying in former President Donald Trump’s thrall will not lead to a viable political future.

Here’s a question for any American who is capable of thinking past next week: Why, in the ever-loving hell, are you not out in the streets, protesting peacefully against what the Democrats in Washington are trying to do to the federal budget? After months of delays and blistering criticism, a review of the 2020 election in Arizona’s largest county, ordered up and financed by Republicans, has failed to show that former President Donald J. Trump was cheated of victory, according to draft versions of the report.
