Biden's Afghanistan: American Hostages

Earlier Sunday PJM reported that Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) sounded the alarm about six civilian aircraft that have been waiting to depart the airport at Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan. According to McCaul, those aircraft have an unknown number of Americans along with Afghan interpreters who helped the U.S. military during the 20-year war. Rep. McCaul said the Taliban is making demands while blocking the aircrafts’ departure, effectively creating a hostage situation. When pressed by Wallace on what demands the Taliban are making, McCaul said the circumstances are “turning into a hostage situation.” “Well, they are not clearing airplanes to depart. They’ve sat at the airport for the last couple days

To the Victor go the spoils. Our Generals and CIC suffered a great military defeat and now the US is the laughingstock of the world. The Talibán licked our woke Generals without vaccines or face masks. Muslims do not believe in Fauci or the Luciferian Davos New World Order. US will now pay them tribute in the name of humanitarian aid so our citizens can exit. China just asked our Muslim enemies for a small base to defend future infrastructure investments. Impeach. This surrender of our best armaments will live for decades to come.

"However, we do not have personnel on the ground, we do not have air assets in the country, we do not control the airspace — whether over Afghanistan or elsewhere in the region,” the State Department statement says. A comprehensive understanding of the obvious by the bureaucrats at State. That was NEVER part of Trump's plan, and that over-the-horizon capability the White House likes to brag about doesn't seem so potent right now.

Joe Biden is a complete disaster. He has taken a wrecking ball to this country along with its foreign policy. He has made us vulnerable by his open border fiasco and the unvetted Afghans he intends to settle in the country. He is openly and actively destroying the country. Any sane and rational individual cannot deny everything he has done has weakened us economically, divided us, benefited our enemies, and made us a laughingstock. Our allies cannot trust us and have publicly denounced us. There has never been such a spectacular failure in the history of this country or a more dangerous one. His actions are a clarion call to vigorously mount an opposition to this insanity. Is anyone answering the call? Impeachment should be on the tongue of every Republican. They should make it reverberate around this country because it is important to bring the fight to the democrats regardless of the outcome. Let it gain strength through a groundswell of like minded Americans who want to save this country. Democrats used frivolous impeachment charges to attack President Trump daily. The charges we have against Biden are not frivolous. They are serious charges that deserve to be heard. We must fight fire with fire. The days of comity are over. At this point, it is fight for freedom or live under tyranny. We have to recognize the seriousness of the situation we are in. Democrats will do anything, tell any lie, cheat, steal, and bully us into submission. All we have to do is expose the truth. Nothing nefarious or underhanded just stand up and bring the fight to them. The first step is crying impeachment. Regardless of its success, it is an excellent tool to wake people up. Americans do not quit in the face of evil. We have always faced it with courage and determination. Now instead of facing it on the battlefield, we must face it in the political arena. We cannot win if we do not fight. Start the rumbling…Impeach Biden, regardless of the outcome. We call for impeachment not to win but to expose the illegal acts that Biden along with his administration have committed. The most difficult part is going to get McConnell and McCarthy fully on board with this tactic. If Nasty Nan could use a lie to impeach President Trump, surely M & M can see the worth of allowing the possibility of serious issues of impeachment against Biden to brought up. Let the talk of impeachment start simmering and see how quickly Americans get on board.

A couple of commenters on the preceding Must Read have correctly assessed the real purpose of these "hostages-in-waiting." They have purposely been put on standby by Biden and his State Department in order to provide cover for their desire to funnel not just immediate funding but more long-term funding to the Taliban. These planeloads are just the seed funding, and much more will come later as the Taliban ferret out and bring forth others from every corner of Afghanistan. Leftists ALWAYS want to find ways to support their revolutionary brothers from another mother with dollars. Politically it's a lot easier to do it as "fake ransom" than it is to simply budget it as foreign aid to a hostile government. This for sure will be fake ransom, paid in regular installments for a long, long time.

Rep. The committee, which writes tax policy, will have large sway over the crafting of the $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill. “I’m pushing for full repeal,” he added. Republicans limited the SALT deduction to decrease most Americans’ taxes

According to data compiled by the Centers For Disease Control, approximately one in every 5,000 vaccinated Americans has tested positive for the coronavirus. That number is probably much lower in places with significantly fewer cases — like the Northeast, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco areas, where it is probably fewer than one in 10,000. This is the first detailed data about so-called “breakthrough” infections — positive tests from people fully vaccinated. The data suggests that politicians and public health officials are wildly overreacting to the delta variant’s effect on the already vaccinated.

Welp, that was a short marriage. Mere months after glowingly calling the new love of their life “a return to adulthood,” no-longer-swooning European leaders have kicked the inept “cheater” — beleaguered Joe Biden — to the curb, correctly labeling his haphazard, unilateral, disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, “cowardice,” “the greatest debacle that NATO has experienced since its foundation,” and worse. At the NATO summit in 2017, French President Emanuel Macron dug his fingertips into then-President Donald Trump’s hand, as reported by the BBC, staring him in the face. Macron would later say: “It wasn’t innocent. In my bilateral dialogues, I won’t let anything pass.”

Though delayed by Democratic quorum breaks, Texas has officially joined the slate of Republican states that have enacted new voting restrictions following the 2020 election. Gov. Greg Abbott on Tuesday signed into law Senate Bill 1, sweeping legislation that further tightens state election laws and constrains local control of elections by limiting counties’ ability to expand voting options. The governor’s signature ends months of legislative clashes and standoffs during which Democrats — propelled by concerns that the legislation raises new barriers for marginalized voters — forced Republicans into two extra legislative sessions.

This gender enrollment disparity is a trend that has been happening for a while now, but at this point the divergence between men and women is becoming pretty dramatic. Jean-Paul Belmondo, whose bad-boy presence in Jean-Luc Godard’s new wave masterpiece “Breathless” established him as the French idol of his generation, has died, Variety has confirmed. He was 88. For more than a decade following the release of “Breathless,” Belmondo reigned as one of France’s top box office stars. The actor was likened alternately to James Dean, Humphrey Bogart and Marlon Brando for his brooding, charismatic persona, and he proved able to work in virtually any genre. After “Breathless,” the cult that formed around him was dubbed le belmondisme by the French media. Unlike Dean, who was a rebel without a cause, Belmondo’s antihero persona was more existential

You can almost hear the wailing. If the media wants to keep up the COVID-19 panic porn, they will have to pick on a Democrat governor. Right now, Oregon Governor Kate Brown is seeing a significant surge in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in her state, just like Hawaii experienced concurrent with the red states in the Southeast. But if the media talks about Hawaii and Oregon, they have to point out that these states enforced some of the strictest restrictions and mask mandates, and cases surged anyway. That can’t happen. The corporate media prefers to portray Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as incompetent and generally fails spectacularly.
