The Biden administration left behind in Afghanistan hundreds of US-sponsored journalists and their families in the chaotic withdrawal from the Taliban-controlled country. Despite President Biden promising to get every journalist out, the reporters employed by the US Agency for Global Media were left stranded. Fox News confirmed that Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) journalists were unable to get aboard the last flights from Afghanistan on Monday. News of the journalists being left behind comes after national security adviser Jake Sullivan told CNN on Sunday that groups prioritized by the Biden administration had made it to evacuation planes.(Snip)The Texas lawmaker said 500 journalists

These 'journalists' brought (or had) their FAMILIES in a war zone?

Journalists? There's a tear in my beer.
Jake the Snake Sullivan lies like a fish drinks. They prioritized nothing at all except getting the corrupt POS President of Afghanistan out with his cars and cash. The rest was just stuff as many neckbeards into the planes as possible with no vetting whatsoever.

The media could care less about slaughtered Afghan Christians, helpless boys n girls, wounded soldiers, American workers but it so typical these guys are ON IT demanding immediate action for “journalists.”

If these were American journalists this would be the top story today and even the Rachel Madcow types would be blaming Xiden.

Hmmm. So now it's come out that Xiden has flipped the bird to the media class that has been propping him up for nearly 50 years with crap such as the "that's just Joe being Joe" nonsense and left stranded them in Afghanistan. If he won't protect the media shills that have protected him for so long, well, what good is he to them anyway?

Ya Joke Sully, the "Great Mind" behind the debacles in Iraq/ISIS, Libya, Syria, Myanmar, The Iran Deal(s)...THIS fustercluck...who also had Robbie Mook working as "Chief Press Liaison" on the ground in Kabul, actually at the airport, wearing Navy Garb(Lt. Navy Nat Guard...at age 41, though his wiki never mentions his Nat Guard membership, only his maaaany Dem campaign positions(primarily losing campaigns) and his status as 1st Openly Gay presidential campaign director. You would think that as Democrats most famous Media Liaison, communications director, Press Representative, HE would have had his laser focus on Media people needing to get out, particularly those with long standing US State Dept funding/positions.
(What is up with these high ranking Democrat politicos getting Military commissions even though they are well into their 30's before even being cleared to join the Nat Guard, both Biden kids joined in their middle 30's, Mook at age 38...)

I'm having a hard time with this one. It's really hard to get all worked up about journalists.

This leaves me with mixed feelings. Hate to see Americans or any freedom loving people trapped in that hell hole, but journalists are largely responsible for putting the Biden snake in the Whitehouse. He is now eating his own. I hope they wake up.
This particular quote really frosts me - from one of the journos trapped over there -
“You would have expected that the United States government, which helped create the space for journalism and civil society in Afghanistan over the last 20 years, would have tried to do more over the last several weeks to assist journalists who made a decision that it was best for them to leave the country,” Fly said. “But they consistently failed to do that.”
Been a whole lot of failures that have led up to this mess. They were largely failures of integrity that worked in favor of Biden.
Sorry - but I have mixed feelings about journos suffering right now.

Bad news for journalists is usually good news for the rest of us.

These journalists were US Government employees. So Biden didn't just abandon US citizens and allies. He also abandoned Us government employees. Spin it however you want, these people were all abandoned by the US government and military leaders. They had our military retreat like scared lambs into the night. Now, our people are left like sacrificial lambs to be used as target practice or hostages to help raise some revenue for the Taliban. Biden said he would get all of our citizens and allies out of Afghanistan. I'm afraid they will be taken out of Afghanistan in pine boxes or black body bags.

"Journalists?" Are they the same people that tell us the election wasn't stolen and the Trump never did anything right?
Sorry, I'll save my anguish for the people were left behind because of xiden's stupidity. Not "journalists," let the media that was paying them get them out.

I'd love to see that list of groups.
#3 - I remember the journalist hanging out in the vicinity of the two snipers on top of a building in Iraq who became collateral damage when an Abrams HE round cleared the snipers from the rooftop. To the media, it became a war crime..

The welfare refugees, with terrorists mixed in, were the top priority of the botched evacuation. Deal with it.
