During his press conference on Thursday following the terrorist attack in Afghanistan that killed 13 U.S. servicemembers, President Biden blamed his generals for the decision to leave Bagram Air Base behind and did not deny reports that his administration gave the Taliban a list of Americans stranded in the region.
On the issue of Bagram Air Base, President Biden said that he made the decision to essentially abandon the location upon his generals’ advice:
On the tactical questions of how to conduct an evacuation or a war, I gather up all the major military personnel that are in Afghanistan, the commanders,

But, but Biteme said the buck stopped with him. It was his idea to just leave Afghanistan without getting civilians out first and all of our military equipment, THEN pull out.

First, Joe said the buck stops here, then he blamed Trump, then the generals, then he shuffled off the stage. What a joke he is. Many more of our soldiers will die before this is over. He needs to resign NOW.

And Idi Amin said earlier in the week that their recommendation was to hold Bagram and use it to exfiltrate people, and that they were expressly overruled by Xiden.
Someone (or all) are lying. Since Xiden thinks he is in charge, he is ultimately responsible. And for this, he should be removed from office.

Every micromanaged decision Biden makes is one hundred percent political with not a shred of strategic or tactical considerations that should be made crystal clear well before our military is foolishly placed in harm's way. The president must communicate what needs to be accomplished vis-a-vis our national security and only rarely, if ever, direct how to do it.

Biden learned all about giving our enemies critical information from Obama. Remember how after we killed Osama Bin Laden? Our Blackhawk Helicopter was mysteriously blown out of the sky by a Taliban missile while on a secret mission. Ironically it was SEAL Team 6. The same team that killed Osama.
Biden learned that lesson well.

"They concluded, the military, that Bagram Air Base was not much value-added, that it was much wiser to focus on Kabul."
There is absolutely no effing way that his military commanders - no matter how incompetent - would have made that recommendation. If "slashing the in-country troop presence" was the objective and a choice had to be made between the two facilities, a simple solution would have been to collapse the embassy and move its operations to the air base. Heck, we may have been able to claim the runways as sovereign U.S. territory and renamed it Bagram Air Force Base.

Of course he did. Austin and Milley more than likely did make the decision to abandon Bagram. They are that stupid. After all there weren't any "White Rage" individuals at Bagram. Just thousands of "oppressed" ISIS prisoners. And the Taliban set them free.

I believe the American people know this was a massive failure on behalf of the entire Biden Administration. Democrats leaked information regarding any and every detail of the Trump administration. However, not one word was leaked regarding Biden’s decision to withdraw our troops prematurely from Afghanistan. Not a peep. The same people who gave us an illegitimate President are the same people who knowingly followed a mentally deficient man’s decision knowing thousands would be put in grave danger and most likely would end up in a murderous situation. Not one leak. Frankly, if President Trump anytime in his presidency was about to make a decision so dangerously troubling that it would most likely cost possibly thousands of lives, I would want someone to leak something to the media because it would be clear that the President was impaired mentally. No one over the age of 10 could sit through those meetings and fail to understand the ramifications of Biden’s inexplicable decision. This tells me everyone was on board because no human could keep quiet knowing the sure outcome of such a decision. We all know Washington leaks like a sieve and yet, not a peep about the possible carnage that would result because of this decision. And you wonder why democrats are never held accountable. It is because they are protected. However, they will not be able to escape this time. Biden and his supporters will be a high price for causing the deaths of our military, as well they should.

Which thief is going to steal more from you, the one who shoplifts during working hours avoiding cameras and eyes or the one who sneaks in during the night?
Biden is the perfect cover for whomever is really calling the shots emboldening them with the narrative that the incompetent senile guy is screwing up opposed to the locus of power succeeding in spectacular fashion in deliberately destroying the country.
How in any other place and time in history, would handing the enemy who has already commenced door to door searches and hung our allies , a list of remaining targets as well as our own people, not be considered an act of treason? Do not be fooled by the facade of an old man in decline.
When Seal Team six was outed for execution Biden was also the curtain masking the true wizard. Biden was already well known for his many gaffs and slip ups so who better to pretend to accidentally let it slip out?

An error of this magnitude--giving the enemy a kill list--cannot be attributed to mere stupidity or failed post aneurysm brain surgery (was it a frontal lobotomy?). No, it's cupidity, and much much worse from those determined to tear down America. Xiden, always in the bottom intellectual tier of government, is not completely aware of what is going down, but the quisling Obama retreads surrounding him don't have that excuse. Can these people be made to pay?
Now we know what Dorothy Parker meant when she wrote: "I d rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy."

Blaming the generals? Biden is the Commander in Chief. The generals report to him. The generals are worthless, too.
I've read the names were left behind in the Embassy, so they might as well have been handed over. Either way the result is the same. The Taliban has a hit list.

Biden has been blaming former President Trump and his Pentagon Generals for the fiasco that has been ongoing in Afghanistan. But Biden has been the President for over the last seven months, give the Taliban a date certain for his withdrawal, first September 11, and then August 31, thus giving the Taliban time to plan their offensive as Biden’s date certain announcement demoralized the Afghan armed forces that immediately lost American air support and all the US contractors who maintained the modern US military equipment the was given to them by the USA. Biden then supercharged that demoralization by bugging out of America’s biggest base, the defendable Bagram airbase, in the middle of the night, without even advising are closest allies including the British military and the Afghan armed forces command. The USA Was then left with only the indefensible Kabul Airport located right next to the City of Kabul with its four million Afghan urban population to conduct the evacuation of Americans and Afghans from Afghanistan. That decision by Biden put US forces in extreme danger to terrorist attacks and obviously those attacks started yesterday. The airport is now surrounded by the Taliban and could be attacked by Islamist terrorist groups at anytime. To stop the situation at the airport from devolving into another Dien Bien Phu type disaster reminiscent of the French Army was surrounded by the Vietnamese Communists and being throughly defeated, with US troops being trapped at the airport unable to leave. So Biden has consigned himself to having to play patty cake with the Taliban, a terrorist organization responsible for killing and wounding thousands of US and NATO troops and Western contractors over many years, to have any hope of getting all the troops out of the airport in the end.

It’s obvious that Biden and the leftist and socialist Democrats could care less about the future of Afghanistan, as they have classified almost the entire population of Afghanistan as being “vulnerable” Afghans who should be allowed to enter the USA as refugees, whether they rendered substantial assistance to the US military or not. Thereby seeking to strip Afghanistan of its educated and modern liberalized social classes leaving no viable alternative to the 7th century Taliban and other Islamist terrorist groups. Clearly the leftist and socialist Democrats are now intent on allowing as many “refugees” from Afghanistan and elsewhere as possible into the USA, using policy that comports with their long-term political plan to permanently change the ethnic and racial population and voter demographics of the USA, so that the leftist and socialist Democrats can remain in permanent political political power controlling both the Congress and the White House with what the leftist and socialist Democrats believe will be majority support by a grand coalition of various minority identity based and special interest politicized population groups.

Unfortunately the Biden created ongoing fiasco in Afghanistan shows that the USA has what amounts to an incompetent and Milquetoast Administration running US foreign policy and the US military these days. You have to hope that the US troops now deployed to the Kabul Airport by Biden, a place that is now surrounded by the Islamist terrorist Taliban and no doubt other affiliated terrorist groups who have been killing and wounding thousands of US and NATO troops and contractors over many years, putting those troops at the airport in a very dangerous situation there, will be able to get out of there in the end without the situation devolving into a Dien Bien Phu type disaster where the French Army in Vietnam was surrounded by the Vietnam Communists and being thoroughly defeated after taking massive casualties.

Ric Grenell last night said they also abandoned our Embassy in Afghanistan. Was that like the Benghazi, Iraq Embassy where our Ambassador was murdered and many more Americans murdered? That was a Hillary State Department screw up where she left our Ambassador to be murdered along with others. And Obama (year 2012) flew off to Las Vegas to fund raise for his re-election campaign. Total losers and corrupt and uncaring and dirtbags for letting Americans die when they could have sent in the military to save them. History repeats itself today.

Weasel (noun): A small, slender, carnivorous mammal related to, but generally smaller than, the stoat.
2A deceitful or treacherous person.
As I watch Biden and his lackies trying to dance around their Afghanistan debacle, this word continues to come to mind; e.g., is there a bigger weasel in our government than "Admiral" John Kirby, Ned Price, or Biden himself? And now our military leadership is filled with weasels: Milley, Gilday, McKenzie, et. al. I have to ask: out of a nation of 330 million people, are weasels the only ones that can rise to critical leadership positions? Apparently so, and, thus, we are doomed to become just another mediocre nation.

If none were killed or injured isn't that a little suspicious they may have been given a heads up by ISIS to clear out? hummmm

If the Generals recommended Kabul airport over Bagram Air Base they should be fired. Kabul airport is surrounded by Kabul urban area that provide thousands of buildings for snipers to use. Although the US embassy is fairly close to the airport the routes ready-made for ambushes. The Bagram Air Base is on an open plain with little to no places to hide making it harder for ambushes and easier to defend. They sure had a lot of military hardware to defend the place if you see what was left behind for the Taliban to walk away with.
I would guess that the choice of the Kabul airport was made by the State Department because of the short distance, but ignoring how dangerous the route is.
