Up to 1,500 Americans are still trapped in Afghanistan and the U.S. is still relying on the Taliban to allow safe passage to Kabul airport with just six days before the August 31 deadline, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said in a press conference on Wednesday.Blinken gave his first briefing on the airlift operation and the bid to get all citizens and Afghan allies out amid reports the CIA has joined U.S. troops in helicopter rescue missions outside the airport perimeter. Thousands of people are still trying to leave Afghanistan as U.S. troops start leaving and evacuation flights begin to wrap up, but are being stopped and beaten

Team Biden will use whatever figure sounds good and then declare "mission accomplished" by August 31, claiming every American got out. But then the Taliban will release videos of the hundreds or thousands of US hostages who are still there.

if that's a number diapers and the other henchmen gave, there are probably 5-10 thousand more and the word is that the majority of people on the flights from Kabul are Afghani's with very few Americans among them - another successful demcommie strategic blunder plan hatched and executed, with failure the only option.

First we were told that there were at least 20 thousand Americans in Afghanistan now suddenly there are only 6 thousand and we got most of them out. Who can possibly believe a word that comes out of this lying gang of incompetent losers? We know that there are thousands of Americans stranded not to mention citizens of our allies who are also trying to get out. These liars and thieves need to be removed from office. Our nation is being led by morons.

It was short, and it wasn’t sweet. The Democratic Party’s quest to defund police forces, an act in which it kowtowed to its hard-left-wing base, has come to a very bitter end. The resulting surge in violent crime has produced a massive public backlash that threatens the careers of elected Democrats throughout the nation. Naturally, the endangered species is trying to distance itself swiftly from the wreckage that “defund the police” has left behind. (Video) The mayors of Portland and Seattle, who respectively slashed police funding by $15 million and $7.5 million last year, are now moving to restore those budgets amid spikes in violent crime

As the U.S. casualty count is trending in the wrong direction in Afghanistan, President Joe Biden is taking heat from all sides for the handling of the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the Central Asian nation.During an appearance on FNC’s “Hannity” on Thursday, former President Donald Trump, Biden’s predecessor, called the move by the Biden administration to withdraw military forces before evacuating non-military personnel the “dumbest move” in perhaps the history of the country. It’s probably, from the standpoint of military tactics and just embarrassment, the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to our country.

Nor can his obscenely shameful effort to shift the blame to former President Donald Trump and even his own military commanders be taken seriously. Biden says the buck stops with him, but he doesn’t really mean it.When the enemy strikes with deadly results, it’s somebody else’s fault. That’s not leadership and it certainly isn’t presidential.

One of the most effective ways for the MSM to shut down an inquiry into misconduct is to say it is all a conspiracy theory. Besides avoiding an unwanted discussion, the charge also invites scrutiny of the "theorist" instead of the issue itself. Notice how quickly some even start off saying something like "I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but..." Expecting their reaction, we have become almost trained to do this. But are there really no big conspiracies? It has been claimed that the phrase "conspiracy theory" was invented by the government to discourage the questioning of official explanations for important events, especially the JFK assassination.

Lawmakers and military officials are outraged. The insane move was designed to expedite the evacuation of tens of thousands of people from Kabul by the August 31 deadline. It also came as the Biden administration began relying on the Taliban for security outside the airport. ISIS-K has since set up forces around the soon-to-be-renamed Hamid Karzai International Airport.
