Seven US Capitol Police officers are suing former President Donald Trump, Stop the Steal rally organizers and members of far-right extremist groups, accusing them of spreading lies, using White supremacist sentiments to attempt to overthrow the 2020 election, and ultimately bearing responsibility for the riot that injured more than 140 officers on January 6.
"Plaintiffs and their fellow law enforcement officers risked their lives to defend the Capitol from a violent, mass attack — an attack provoked, aided, and joined by Defendants in an unlawful effort to use force, intimidation, and threats to prevent Congress from certifying the results of the 2020 Presidential election," says the lawsuit

Follow the money. I'm sure all 6 of these officers suddenly have nice bank accounts thanks to all that Soros money they were given to do this!!!
I am a very strong supporter of the police in general. I definitely back the blue. But the Capitol Police are not a traditional police force. They are more like Gestapo wanna-be security guards that owe their allegiance to Nasty Nancy Pelosi, and that makes them the bad guys.

Cross claims against those who negligently failed to provide adequate security, against antifa, against kamel hairass for advocating violence on the late show, and against dim operatives who planned violence at Trump events should likewise be interesting. And counterclaims against the plaintiffs for their role in the violence.

Okay, who are these 'far right extremist' groups? I follow news closely and can't think of a single group that's done anything to merit the word 'extremist.' I'm also getting sick of the constant harassment of President Trump. The world is falling apart and these morons are suing a former great president. It needs to stop.

Maybe we'll see some of those 14,000hours of videotape during discovery?
So, tell me how these Capitol police have standing to sue their Commander-in-Chief, but that Commander-in-Chief does not have standing to sue to stop a clearcut, plainly visible, absolutely provable theft of the Presidential Election as it was happening?
WhenTrump resumes his Presidency, he must disband the Capitol Police, which has become a welfare/jobs program for the Democrat Party and for barely literate race hustlers

You beat me to it, #1. Discovery will produce a great deal of information.
A violent mass attack? With Capitol Cops opening doors? With selfies taken in all directions? What are they smoking?
Force, intimidation, and threats? Perhaps we will now see the hundreds of bodies of dead Capitol Cops. Is this intimidiation on tape? Can we actually view the threats? Aside from Ashlii Babbitt, whose murderer has already been exonerated, who was killed?
I realize that Toothy McBigTits was almost raped and murdered, and still in therapy. Have her molesters been brought to trial yet? It was in another building, so I don't know what camera coverage there was.
This is really a bridge too far, guys.

They all work for Pelosi. That they sue a day after Pelosi's star chamber committee demand confidential presidential documents from Trump is no coincidence.
Even as the FBI and DOJ try to distance themselves from this scam, Pelosi is going full steam ahead, She sees it as critical to saving her position as Speaker by keeping the House in Democrat hands in 2022.

In a free and open society, yes, Discovery should be amazing and the threat of it enough to remove the lawsuit from memory.
But the deep state appartatkis in DC are already telling their political prisoners and the rubber-stamp kangaroo couryt judges, "Well, gosh oh golly gee, we got lots of tape and we just can't get it all cataloged and processed (ie, destroyed or altered) in time for those folks thrown in the cesspool of DC prisions to get what they think is their 'guarantee' of a free and speedy trial, so they'll just have to wallow in that misery until we feel like we want to give them the sanitized version that will insure their conviction by our friends, the DC judges, for long sentences for what at the most is a misdemeanor. So there."
What chances does a civil suit have?

This "Police" organization are part of the coordinators that have to keep Trump's name in the headlines, throwing out these baseless accusations in the hopes that he will "throw in the towel" and call it a day in politics.

I guess those Friday document dumps really do work since the FBI stated they found scant evidence of any coordination, and in particular anything related to President Trump.
Agree with others, that discovery will be very interesting, including those who were released despite being fully engaged and involved, and sold their footage.

Counter-sue them, along with Pelosi and Soros. The Jan6 incident wasn't more ugly than your typical Code Pink chambers-takeover protest (and the enemedia treated those like Junior High pep rallies).
