A family farm is waiting to receive a ruling in their lawsuit against the city of East Lansing, Michigan after they were banned from a city-run market for refusing to allow same-sex weddings on their property. Fox News reported that Country Mill Farms – operated by Stephen and Bridget Tennes – began their legal battle in 2016, when the couple said on Facebook that they opposed same-sex weddings for religious reasons. They temporarily stopped hosting weddings on their property after a backlash to the post.

"no law establishing religion nor the free exercise thereof" or words to that effect... Seems pretty clear to me the Mayor of East Lansing is a moron or someone who despises America. Michigan Sucks!

It's their property. They don't have to allow your demented tripe on it if they don't want to.

Send them to obama's estate; let them have their fake wedding there. He, like Veggie, was a fake president, and he's a major reason why they live in la-la land believing they are actually getting married. See if he allows it, and see if he gets banned. I'm betting not.

Big mistake going to court over social issues. Judges are champions of radical leftwing fascism. But the really stupid part was "when the couple said on Facebook that they opposed same-sex weddings for religious reasons" Go directly to Chapter 11.

Has the farm ever actually denied a gay wedding or is the city getting their panties in a wad over something that never happened? The city is in such a rush to be PC they persecute people over their religious beliefs. What would happen if a traditionally gay venue denied a Christian group from holding an event but was denied due to their beliefs?

East Lansing has a statement where they say they want an environment that welcomes all and their businesses. Of course this is a lie. They only welcome those who think like they do. We must rid every town of these so called Offices of Equity and Inclusion or whatever a town may call it. They are nothing but a police force to impose the liberal beliefs on everyone else.
BTW. Notice how the libs silently substituted the word equity for equality. Equity means discrimination, period. Fight back by voting these racist bigots out of power.

The punishment doesn't fit the imaginary crime.
In Farmers' Market terms, "it's apples and oranges."

This sort of tripe worked against bakeries, why not wedding venues. These deviates search out businesses like this, and purposely start lawsuits to put such places out of business and to send a message to any other business. In affect, they are creating more enemies of their life style where none existed before.
