Vaccine Resistance and Public Trust

Original Article

Posted By: Judy W., 7/27/2021 7:22:42 AM

During the rise and fall of the coronavirus last year, vaccines appeared more quickly than expected. Trump’s Operation Warp Speed deserved much of the credit, even though the media was reluctant to give it. Thereafter, the vaccines were rolled out aggressively. (Snip) The vaccine appears to work, at least temporarily. Even with the natural rise and fall of the virus, disease burden was even lower among the vaccinated. There were side effects and deaths, but these appeared to be modest compared to the disease, though much higher than those that occurred with familiar vaccines. But then things started to get worse again.

Comments:

How the "authorities" botched their goal of everyone getting vaccinated with their stupidity and arrogance. And maybe it's not such a great goal after all.

I got vaccinated even though I am blessed with excellent health, have no pre-existing conditions and haven't had the flu in over 20 years. The only reason I got vaccinated was to go about my business without the damned mask. And now they say I have to wear it anyway?! The straw that broke the camel's back for me was the excuse that last summer's rioters were OK without wearing masks because their cause was just. Also, the idiots are letting all manner of people in at the border - people who are carrying God knows what diseases. No, I don't trust the medical establishment one iota. They are horrible people.

Three reasons that these different groups refuse to get it: minorities, evangelical believers, highly educated 1) fear of government or death / loss of trust in doctors 2) trust in God's creation of our immune system 3) ability to reason through the statistics and risk assessment

Sure there were side effects and deaths but much less than the virus. That's comforting and nice what's wrong with 100% safe and it works with no deaths. This is stupid with all the lies by lying scientist/doctors along with the CDC I wouldn't drink their cough syrup if it was offered. Those stupid masks were more dangerous to health by wearing them all the time. When this is all proven to be a hoax to get rid of the 'mean tweeter' people will never trust the government along with their media lies.

Some here may remember the "credibility gap" of the 60's. No one believed the reported VC body counts nor that there was an end to the Vietnam civil war tunnel, let alone any light. It was created by liars within government afraid of the truth, which would undercut the need to continue the war and keep a domino standing. It became a military and political disaster that still haunts this country. And built on lies. We see a similar credibility gap today with COVIDS-19 and its variants. Anyone that trusts any level of government anymore in this (and most other) matter is a fool whistling past reality's graveyard. This virus has clearly been used for political gain. It is profitable. It puts people in an untenable position demanding submission to authority to mask and quarantine, to "follow the science"...the official science, that is. None other is tolerated. No other voices may be heard spouting heresy.

I don't understand why this is a concern. As more people get the virus, the more people will have immunity. We have enough hospital space, not to mention a free "miracle" treatment for those with mild to moderate cases and those at high risk (monoclonal antibodies). Just let the virus run its course, which is what should have been done in the first place.

Don't believe their information. Don't believe their numbers. Never believed the media or bullys. Don't believe the govt bots ever got the fake vaccine, photo ops were most likely B12 shot. The open border and the infected illegals negate what they are pushing down our throats. I have a covid infested illegal hotel one mile from my tax-paying home. Look up what citizens are most hesitant to get the jab. And then there is fraudci. My critical thinking skills and common sense never bought into the manufactured hysteria and obvious gaslighting. Did fall for the toilet paper shortage unfortunately, have enough for the next 10 "variants". Looking forward to meeting like-minded people in the government reeducation camps.

When people start dropping dead in the streets, and the wagons start rolling down the street to collect the bodies, I will consider COVID to be a real pandemic. Until then, it is just a bad flu. I have to wonder if this much fuss would have been raised if a Democrat was president in 2020.

 In the past few days alone, we have learned that the October 2020 Michigan governor kidnap plot was largely a creation of the FBI; a "senior FBI official" was on the take from media organizations; and another assistant director was in a "romantic relationship with a subordinate" and involved in "other misconduct." The leadership failures documented by the Office of the Inspector General are now almost standard and part of a tiresome media drip-torture for the public to endure. (Snip)  Questions are now being raised as to whether the FBI had a role in the Capitol Hill protests of January 6, 2021.

Fear is contagious. It’s almost as bad as the Delta variant. Again, is the new variant more transmissible? Yes. Is it deadlier? No. Does it make you sicker? No. Are those being impacted primarily the unvaccinated? Most definitely. So, when you want to increase vaccination rates, the government did what it did best: screw things up. Fully vaccinated people now must wear masks again in high-case areas. What constitutes a highly infectious area? Well, that’s not clear yet, but I’m sure the CDC and Dr. Anthony Fauci will make up some science fiction to justify this new mask mandate. The mandates are coming too.

COVID-19 policies had disastrous results on children, especially in California, according to medical researchers at the University of California San Francisco. Jeanne Noble, director of COVID response in the UCSF emergency department, is finishing an academic manuscript on the mental health toll on kids from lockdown policies. She shared a presentation on its major points with Just the News. Suicides in the Golden State last year jumped by 24% for Californians under 18 but fell by 11% for adults, showing how children were uniquely affected by "profound social isolation and loss of essential social supports traditionally provided by in-person school," the presentation says. Children requiring emergency mental health services jumped last year

But there is plenty of evidence, good reasons a rational person might question the outcome. Here are ten that come to mind, in no particular order: Eyewitness testimony. Claiming that the U.S. is responsible for Cuba’s failed state Pinning the blame for Cuba’s failures on the U.S. is the argument of people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The panel is part of a broader effort to paint the demonstration as an “insurrection,” and thereby characterize nearly 75 million Donald Trump voters as “domestic terrorists.” But there’s another reason Pelosi and her colleagues, law enforcement, and the press are pushing the insurrection narrative—to cover up the one obvious crime committed that day in the Capitol building, a murder.
