Doctor says: Stop the panic
over the Delta variant

Delta is now the dominant variant in the US of the virus that causes COVID-19. It is more transmissible than earlier variants and has led to an increase in cases nationwide. Los Angeles and Las Vegas have responded with indoor mask mandates, even for those who have been vaccinated. New York City Council Health Committee chairman Mark Levine says New York City should follow their lead. Public health officials should disregard these exhortations and calls for even more restrictive measures. Delta is not the existential threat that the media is making it out to be.

I'm getting sick of pandemic panic. After watching what Biteme has done in six months, I really don't care if I die of COVID. It might beat starving to death or having to eat my pets.

Rest assured Biden and Media will keep the panic alive for the 2022 elections since the Presidential scam worked so well. Look for mail in ballots galore.

FTA: 'Joel Zinberg, MD, a senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, worked for 30 years at Mt. Sinai Hospital and was senior economist and general counsel at the White House Council of Economic Advisers.' This is hardly the resume of a top expert in epidemiology, virology, cellular biology, or infectious diseases. It reminds me of the career of witch doctor Fauxi...a politician/adviser.

Keep hearing the media with their scare tactics. That you can get Delta even if fully vaccinated. So I looked it up the numbers. Delta overall has a lower death rate than the original virus. That yes, case are going up. But deaths are not. And of all the hospitalizations, 95% are those who are not vaccinated. And of those who died (again, which are not going up), 99.5% are those who are not vaccinated.

Please keep in mind that the same methods to troll for positive tests for the original Coronavirus are still in use. A positive test result does NOT mean you have Covid-19. It simply means that somewhere in your DNA the test has picked up remnants of A coronavirus, not THE coronavirus. Past colds and flu will show up as a positive result on a PCR test, if it is run at a higher cycle. This is very, very important to remember as the media, the government and the medical community ramp up the hysteria…again.

LOst in all the hysteria is the very real and confirmable fact (via the CDC Website) total Covid cases (any variant) are down 97% from levels in January of this yera. That 25% uptick ib cases recoreded wasn't even a bad rounding error just 7 months ago. If there were 1000 cases in January and it had declined to 30 in July ( a 97% decrease) and suddenly jumped to 37 cases in August (a 25% increase) does that mean we should once again shut dwn our economy and lock down the population again? SHould we panic that the end is near and turn our freedom over to the elites in Washington? Well, that is exactly what the left is trying to do make us think right now.

How many deaths from this version of the Wuhan virus? Deaths in my county of 600K+ are running about 1 or 2 a week, and I bet that is mostly elderly 'died with' rather than died of. Being kinda elderly myself....that's not quite as reassuring as it would be if I was 60 or younger.

Senate Democrats swooped in to rescue Dr. Anthony Fauci during a hearing on Capitol Hill Tuesday morning after he was confronted by Republican Senator Rand Paul about his role in funding dangerous gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Paul also asked Fauci if he lied to Congress about his role in the research. "There will be responsibility for those who funded the lab, including yourself," Paul said. "You are obfuscating the truth." "I totally resent the lie that you are now propagating Senator," Fauci fired back.

At the very moment today that President Joe Biden’s Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States was meeting to consider adding likely Democratic justices, an effort started in Wisconsin to lock in the current makeup of the court — and 150 years of history. Newly elected Wisconsin state Sens. Julian Bradley and Eric Wimberger and Rep. Tony Kurtz said they started to circulate a resolution to block expanding the court beyond nine judges. While some other states have passed simple resolutions on the issue, their plan, dubbed “Wisconsin Keep 9 Resolution,” calls for a constitutional convention to debate an amendment that would require nine states.

Critical Race Weary 3 replies

Much of the recent attention on Critical Race Theory (“CRT”) has been a result of the increase in Zoom teaching during the COVID-19 school shutdowns. Parents became aware of the kind of identity-politics indoctrination forced on their kids. Students who hadn’t even reached high-school age were being told that they were part of systematic oppression based on their skin color. It has been known for a long time that academia is riddled with CRT nonsense, and college campuses have been demanding that students worship at the altar of “Diversity and Inclusion.” But corporate America has also been infiltrated with similar politically correct brainwashing. The Marxist rot of CRT has spread

The greatest danger facing the Democrats in the 2022 midterms has little to do with the state election reforms that President Biden has ridiculously compared to Jim Crow. It is instead the increasing frustration of parents who don’t want their children force-fed critical race theory. The advocates of CRT insist that it is nothing more than an arcane academic discipline that isn’t taught to K-12 students. That was proven false this month by the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA). Both unions clearly intend to infect the nation’s schoolchildren with this toxic ideology despite the angry objections of their parents.

Working with the White House, a group of top Capitol Hill Democrats are workshopping placing a handful of immigration measures into the spending bill that will likely be passed via budget reconciliation, that is with no Republican support. For years, efforts to reform the American immigration system have stalled as Democrats and Republicans fail to make any sort of meaningful bipartisan progress on the issue. Now, Democrats are opting to strategically move forward potentially without the need for bipartisan agreement.

A few weeks ago, I suggested in this column that independent voters would decide when Joe Biden’s honeymoon is over. Well, Independents’ Day has arrived. While the president’s support from his Democratic base remains strong enough to offset Republican opposition, several recent polls have seen his job approval rating begin to slip with the most crucial voter group — independents. Our July 6-8 Winning the Issues survey saw Biden’s job approval underwater, with 40 percent of independents approving the job he is doing and 47 percent disapproving. Only a month before, our June survey had him at 46 percent approve/42 percent disapprove, a significant drop.

Republican “anti-voting laws,” President Joe Biden claimed during his demagogic speech at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia this afternoon, are the most “significant threat to our democracy since the Civil War.” These laws are “odious,” “pernicious,” “vicious,” and “unconscionable,” a “subversion and suppression,” the “21st-century Jim Crow,” and the sure sign of an emerging “autocracy.” Biden’s fabricated panic offers lots of space for hyperbole, but precious little room for specifics. I was prepared to fact-check Biden’s contentions about new election laws, but the president offered few details. Perhaps he comprehends that most Americans would probably find voter-integrity laws rather innocuous.

Inflation surged in June at its fastest pace in nearly 13 years amid a burst in used vehicle costs and price increases in food and energy, the Labor Department reported Tuesday. The consumer price index increased 5.4% from a year earlier, the largest jump since August 2008, just before the worst of the financial crisis. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been expecting a 5% gain. Stripping out volatile food and energy prices, the core CPI rose 4.5%, the sharpest move for that measure since September 1991 and well above the estimate of 3.8%. On a monthly basis, headline and core prices rose 0.9% against 0.5% estimates.

The report noted that federal health officials are considering whether they would update masking guidance, asking all Americans to wear masks indoors in public places. Failing the pandemic test, as World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus believes the world is, means even countries with high vaccination rates could once again find themselves back where they were in March 2020. Ghebreyesus has long advocated for high-income countries to help fill inequities in health care by sharing vaccine doses with other countries' most vulnerable populations. Focusing on a country's own people and not the world's population allows for more mutations of the virus to pop up and in a global world, a deadly variant in one place poses a threat to everywhere.
