A Florida man who breached the US Senate chamber carrying a 'Trump 2020' campaign flag was sentenced on Monday to eight months in prison, making him the first among hundreds of accused rioters facing prosecution to be incarcerated.Tampa crane operator Paul Allard Hodgkins, 38, apologized and said he was ashamed of his actions on January 6. Speaking calmly from a prepared statement, he described being caught up in the euphoria as he walked down Washington’s most famous avenue, then followed a crowd of hundreds up Capitol Hill and into the Capitol building.

He is a political prisoner. I'm sure his apology was a condition of his "lenient" sentence. I hope to see the day when all these liars, traitors and America haters are rounded up and languish in solitary confinement as these American patriots have. If we ever have law and order in America again, and a system of blind justice, rioters and looters and arsonists will once again be harshly dealt with.

I believe that having a felony on your record can hurt your livelihood. For carrying a Trump sign, and walking around inside the building for about 20 minutes, the man may have trouble getting employment with some groups. One thing about this "justice" department, it is not just. And this guy really did not do anything wrong. Perhaps it was the Capitol Police who held the door open for him.

Instead of launching a committee for the purposes of political theater, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) herself could shed a lot of light on what happened at the Capitol on January 6. Instead, the investigation will resemble “MSNBC with subpoena power.” That is how Tucker Carlson assessed the situation in another powerful editorial delivered on Wednesday evening on his eponymous Fox News show. Pelosi could save the committee, if not the entire Congress and America itself, a lot of time by answering a few basic questions, Carlson said. These include the following: Why did the House sergeant-at-arms, a Pelosi subordinate, allegedly deny the Capitol police chief’s repeated requests

A federal judge blocked a West Virginia law banning transgender athletes from competing in girls sports, saying the legislation likely runs afoul of the Constitution. Judge Joseph R. Goodwin, a Clinton appointee, said if West Virginia wants to treat people differently, there must be a compelling reason to do so. “I have been provided with scant evidence that this law addresses any problem at all, let alone an important problem,” the judge wrote in a 15-page opinion. West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice, a Republican, signed the Save Women’s Sports bill in April.
