On Thursday the Internal Revenue Service will begin delivering monthly installments of President Joe Biden's enhanced child tax credit to some 39 million American families. The boost will see individuals who make under $75,000 and couples earning under $150,000 with children under six-years-old receive $3,600 per child, with monthly $300 checks starting to go out July 15. The tax credits were part of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, which was passed by Congress in March with no Republican support. If those Americans have children between the ages of six and 17

He's trying to divert the attention away from the voter fraud and he could possibly be tossed from office. He's trying to buy everyone off, hoping everyone will side with him. Money speaks.

President Joe Biden. So generous and caring. The country needs to unite under his courageous and dare I say brilliant leadership.

The outstanding national debt of Failed America amounts to $28 trillion, which works out to $85,520 per US citizen, or $226,794 per US taxpayer. This cannot possibly be repaid, but still our wide leaders keep spending, in the process borrowing another 44¢ on the dollar to do so.

I meant "wise," but wide works too in some cases. They spend it faster than we can make it.

OMG, this is insane!!
"The initiative is intended to run for a year and is intended to lift millions of children out of poverty." Really? And, Biden wants to make this permanent?!? Those income caps are EXTREMELY generous.....WTH is going on?!?
I guess this is really just an economic stimulus in sheep's clothing.....all those video stores should make out like bandits!

Throughout the U.S. small businesses, especially restaurants, are having employee staffing problems because of unneeded, irresponsible federal stimulus payments; many of these businesses are barely hanging on. These tax credits indicate that the Biden/Harris administration is intent of causing more and more of these businesses fail. It's an outrage.

This will continue to collapse the economy. if more folks can sit home and get paid by the government, regardless of what excuse these rotten Dems use, they won't work. Restaurants, and other small businesses will be hammered hard by labor shortages.
It is clear that the Dems WANT to collapse the economy. Nobody could be this good at it unless it was their intent.
Oh, wait.....is Krugman advising them? That could explain it. He has been wrong about everything he has said for decades.

Correction: Biden takes money out of the pockets of those who have earned it or come by it legally in order to give it to a constituency he wants to have in his pocket... you know, like bribery.
