On Monday, the Supreme Court unanimously rejected an illegal immigrant’s attempt to twist immigration law and create a loophole that would allow thousands of illegal immigrants to become lawful permanent residents. Democratic senators and attorneys general advocated for this loophole, but a liberal justice wrote the opinion for a unanimous Court. “Petitioner Jose Santos Sanchez entered this country unlawfully from El Salvador. Years later, because of unsafe living conditions in that country, the Government granted him Temporary Protected Status (TPS), entitling him to stay and work in the United States for as long as those conditions persist. Why are woke Democrats waging a war on women? Joe Biden is embracing a particularly disturbing term for women who give birth. While most of us call these women ‘mothers’, the woke insist on a new terminology- birthing people. Just when we think the destruction of the English language can’t get any worse, someone says “Hold my beer.”
Joe Biden’s FY2022 budget, a $6 trillion monstrosity, addresses the maternal mortality rate in the United States. The section begins by using traditional wording such as maternal and woman. Then toward the end, there is a shift to gender neutral language.
On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) stated that during negotiations over an infrastructure package, “we offered the president basically what he asked us to do the first time we met with him, which was a trillion dollars over eight years, including baseline spending.” And that despite Republicans drawing a red line on tax increases, “the last offer that I got from the president had four tax increases in it.”
Capito said, “Well, the president ended the talks today with me on a very cordial call. I am extremely disappointed. Because we offered the president basically what he asked us to do
Several weeks ago I read a wonderful column by my old pal Gerry Baker of the Wall Street Journal. It was titled, “Did Biden Peak on Inauguration Day? Covid confusion, Mideast chaos and the threat of inflation — He doesn’t have many victories to point to.” That question is reinforced by the Journal’s Kim Strassel, in a column Friday titled “Biden’s Agenda Hits a Senate Wall: The Parliamentarian nixes Schumer’s plan to evade the filibuster via ‘reconciliation.’” Much of the economic and stock market outlook for the remainder of this year and next would be determined by responses to these questions.

Joe Biden’s top priority since passing his economy-crushing boondoggle of a COVID “relief bill” has been to get an infrastructure package done. The problem is that the filibuster exists, and while Joe Manchin was willing to push through the first monstrosity via reconciliation, he’s said he doesn’t want to do that again. That means that Republican votes are almost certainly going to be needed to get anything done.

More Have Hour-Long Outages Due To Server Issue 9 replies
A number of major websites, including those of news outlets like The New York Times, CNN and the BBC have returned to full functionality after experiencing an hour-long outage this morning.
The culprit was identified as a content delivery network operated by Fastly Inc. At 6 a.m. ET, sites went dark due to an issue at Fastly. The outages appear to be unrelated to recent ransom attacks and hacks of a number of public and private computer systems.
In addition the news sites, Amazon, Reddit, Twitch as well as streaming services HBO Max and Hulu also saw glitches. Also affected were Stack Overflow, GitHub, gov.uk, Quora, PayPal, Vimeo, Shopify and Stripe.
Seventy-eight percent of senior Capitol Hill aides believe Republicans will regain the House in 2022, up 12 percent from April, according to a poll released Monday.
The Punchbowl News poll also included responses by party, which showed 57 percent of Democrat Hill staffers believe Republicans will regain control.
Additionally, 99 percent of the Republicans on the Hill believe their party will regain control of the House, ending House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) short four-year reign of trying to push through her radical, one-sided agenda.

Jimenez was riding the park's carousel with her 8-year-old niece. That's when she noticed the horse in front of her.
