In George Floyd's old neighborhood, his
death was only the most famous of many

Houston–She wondered what the children knew. Kimberly Hewitt noticed them playing outside Cuney Homes when she arrived on the anniversary of George Floyd's killing and feared the deaths of Black people were starting to seem too normal. She did not want young people here to think an early death was their fate, too. Hewitt and several dozen well-wishers prayed. They recited Floyd's name and released a panoply of red and gold balloons into the sky. Yet the mourning was hardly over. Floyd was only one in a cascade of neighborhood men to die lately, and they had another funeral to attend.

Comments:

The subtext is that The Community cannot manage its own affairs, whether killing one another over petty squabbles or proudly existing on handouts provided by the hated White man. They howl in pain when one of their violent own meets his demise interacting with a White cop on a fool's errand to enforce the law among people who care nothing about order or morality, and the next day everything's back to normal. Same exact thing worldwide, wherever they go, always playing the victim, always owed endless amounts of support from others, never a call from within or without to straighten up and fly right because it's understood that this is the best they can do.

The huge difference is that George Floyd's death was the only one to happen at the hands of a white man. The only one!!!!! All (and I do mean all) of the rest were black-on-black murders. But there is no money in talking about those, so don't expect to hear any outcry or see any attempt to stop this never-ending cycle of death in the black community.

Thank you OP. I always respect your insights. I’ve read articles bout George Floyd. He was a shambling, worthless drug-addled street thief. And these people idolize him? Really? This is the best they can hold up for their kids to emulate? I despair. I also don’t want to even try to understand anymore.

One has to wonder....how many people would be alive today who are not, how many people would not have spent days, weeks or months in a hospital bed for injuries sustained during the rioting, how many innocent police officers would not have been unfairly attacked, how many businesses would still be operating providing income for its owners and employees, how many life savings would not have gone up in smoke, how many publicly owned properties would not have been destroyed or damaged, how many people who have been victims of crimes due to police budgets being cut where crime has increased exponentially would not have been...if only Mr. Floyd, who had committed a crime, had said to the police officers "you got me," and allowed himself to arrested?

#3, that was LBJ's intent. He was a virulent racist and put welfare in place to re-enslave the blacks via government handouts destroying their families and convincing them to kick back and live off handouts as a permanent way of life.

Here's what LBJ said about the recipients of his "Great Society" largesse: "I'll have those n*****s voting Democratic for the next 200 years." We've passed the first quarter of his prediction, and so far, he's been proven right.

More than 935,000 illegal aliens were deported by the Trump administration. The plan, open borders activists with the corporate-backed National Immigrant Justice Center suggest, could be done through executive order by Biden and create an office inside DHS that allows deported illegal aliens to submit requests to return to the U.S.

How much has the psychology of our nation been upended by this pandemic? We’ve seen people blindly turn over their lives to the dictates of the government. The government shut down businesses, jobs and destroyed lives. Children went without in-person school. Every other illness or condition seemed to be suborned to the interest of fighting the pandemic.
