President Joe Biden on Tuesday announced plans to build black wealth and narrow the racial income gap ahead of a trip to Oklahoma to mark the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre. Biden's plan focuses on two key creators of wealth: homeownership and small business ownership. Under his proposal, the Department of Housing and Urban Development will propose new regulations 'to root out discrimination in the appraisal and homebuying process,' according to a White House fact sheet, in a bid to boost black home ownership. The administration also is seeking to address disparities that result in black-owned homes being appraised at tens of thousands of dollars less

Keep picking at the scab, the wound will never heal.
You can't raise money on healed wounds and people who come together.

If Bidet ever drove around in a bLACK neighborhood he'd know why property assessments are so low. The first thing a black person does when they make any money is to move into WHITE areas, which are better kept and also much safer because of lifestyle preferences, time preferences, and impulse control. Also, magically increasing property values in bLACK areas will serve only to make houses less affordable up front, and also eternally through increased real estate taxes and homeowners insurance. They'll find a way to make the rest of us pay as a matter of "equity."

I like the way Joe wants to eliminate discrimination by instituting discrimination. The way to end racism is to embrace and favor one race over another.

More $billions for affirmative action. It was kick-started by Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society" and apparently will never end. The real systemic racism is in Democrat controlled cities such as Baltimore. Detroit, Cleveland Chicago, etc., and is primarily indifference, massive wasteful spending, pay-to-play and inner-circle cronyism.

I used to live in a subdivision built on both sides of a major street. The side I lived on was majority white, and the other side was majority black. Both neighborhoods were a mixture of trades people and professionals. One day, I gave a black coworker who lived on the other side a ride home. I was shocked at how ill-kept the houses on his side were - bare lawns, no landscaping, crumbling driveways, peeling paint and so on. The majority white side had neatly trimmed yards, lush grass, nice landscaping, and well maintained houses. It wasn't a money issue - my coworker earned more money than I did, but his house looked just as rundown and grimy as his neighbors' houses. In a flash, I understood why people move out of a neighborhood when a critical mass of minorities moves in.

Define systematic racism. Give us a recent example of systematic racism by proving that racism took place and not by the actions caused by disobedience.

This is the limit. Read about the Tulsa “massacre” and look at the photo. How about Portland and Minneapolis and Kenosha, Wi, and all the other “massacres” that have occurred in the name of George Floyd.
This will end up picking the wrong scab, Joebama. The mindless blacks and their supporters have caused far too much damage and pain.

I am most definitely black.
I learned that the real Jews are black from the Democrat. Being a real Jew, I must be black, despite having rather ruddy skin and blue eyes. My hair is rather kinky. Kids used to call it a JewFro.
So, I'm black.
Gimme money.
I encourage everyone to play this stupid fraud game. Just self-identify.

Soooooooo......Is the plan to devalue my home or artificially inflate someone else's?
Btw.......Joey.....increasing property values puts MORE homes out of reach for lower income people. Increasing the value artificially means homes for sale sit on the market longer.

"Unfair housing appraisals". Yep, the same physical house, in a crime infested neighborhood is worth a LOT less than if it were in a nice, safe neighborhood. That has absolutely nothing to DIRECTLY do with race, but since one racial group does 70-85% of all violent crime, guess what, it indirectly does tie into race, but only because even black folks want to live in a crime free area, if they can.

I honestly never thought we could have a bigger racist as president than Affirmative-Action-Ovomit!!!!
But not-my-president Lyin' Joe biden is quickly proving me wrong!!! Wait, that is silly. Not-my-president Lyin' Joe biden is far too senile to be a racist. That "dishonor" belongs to his handlers, who tell him what to say and sign. Just look at him -- he doesn't have a clue what he is saying. The emptiness in his eyes give it away.

Where is this race mongering Usurper of our Presidency going to get this $100 Billion disguised reparations/welfare give away to all those black Americans who are apparently either too incompetent, lazy, or just plain too stupid to make it on their own? Last time I checked doesn't Congress still have to appropriate this money or are we truly and finally a dictatorship?
To any Black American who accepts any of this money or for that matter any other form of Government Welfare, I say shame on you. Shame on You!

Most of the money will end up in the hands of lefty politicians to fund their campaigns. The remainder will go out in the form of mortgage loans to people buying houses that cannot afford them. Where have we seen that before? Banks better get ready to bend over (again). I see another mortgage crisis in our future.
Nobody will be helped. This will be 100 billion wasted.

Conservative Christian white makes are the most oppressed minority we have. Overt systematic racism/bigotry towards this group abounds, and I have been on the receiving end frequently. But I don't want anyone's help, that's for sure, just acknowledgement of the truth.

I've been to two black owned businesses in Tulsa which two more than Joe Biden will ever darken the doorway of. One was a new independent bookstore in Greenwood. They'd done an impressive job of rehabbing the old building. The other is a restaurant near the airport featuring "southern, down-home cooking". Has been in business a couple of generations. My son had fried to order chicken and I had catfish. Both were great. Few white people eating there.

Apparently Biden and his administration learned nothing by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals recent ruling in Vitolo v Guzman. The ruling stated that the Government cannot direct funds to minority businesses only. Of course, being Democrats, they think the law does not apply to them.

Dementia Jo , today, took partial credit for passage of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. He was an undergraduate at the U. of Delaware then.
And he said he was a 'public rights' attorney. I am unfamiliar with that position.
Sad.

The Dem solution to every problem. Throw other people's money at it. When it fails miserably, they will say even more money is needed.
