Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted that there's no way to know if Chinese scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology lied and conducted what are called 'gain of function' experiments on bat coronaviruses using U.S. tax dollars. 'There's no way of guaranteeing that,' Fauci said Wednesday at a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing to Republican Sen. John Kennedy. 'But in our experience with grantees, including Chinese grantees, which we have had interactions with for a very long period of time—they are very competent, trustworthy scientists.' 'Gain of function' experiments are conducted to make viruses more contagious or deadly.

Comments:

A more benighted society than ours would soon have this devil and his co-conspirators swinging from a rope, but in the USA, maintaining the social stature and income streams of important people is our highest priority, certainly well above what might be good for the subject citizenry our leaders pretend to serve.

How noble of him. I’m sure all enlightened countries give hundreds of thousands of dollars to other less than friendly countries in order for them to conduct increasing the lethality and infectivity of dangerous pathogens. In other words, conducting biological weapons research. Dr. Fauci is either one of the most stupid people on the planet or he is complicit and evil beyond my comprehension.

Fauci is the caliber of people who exist on the left (some on the right too) who enrich themselves anyway they can, legal or illegal, ethical or unethical. It does not matter to these greedy power hungry villains. They are prepared to do whatever it takes to have their way. It is why democrats boldly went about stealing the election around midnight on election night. They wanted to win and were prepared to do anything to make that happen. The Wuhan virus was the perfect vehicle for so many things they wished to accomplish. It’s as if they had actually planned it that way. Surely not, not even the rancid debauched and lawless democrats would dare to concoct such a nefarious scheme that would take so many lives in order for them to win a political battle. Having lived it, I don’t put anything past these people. They have become a force for evil in this country.

FTA: '''I don't have enough insight into the Communist Party in China to know the interactions between them and the scientists, sir,' Fauci said'' Fauci is either a fool or a liar. Or both. ALL that happens in China is permitted and controlled by the Communist Party. There is no independent, free, thought or activity. Communist China is the democrat's ideal!

I am concerned that the highest paid Federal employee (Fauci) does not appear at all to question the trustworthiness of the Chinese government and its labs. Why would he trust a totalitarian regime and its employees? Whether he is a liar or not, Fauci deserves to be relieved of duty (fired) based upon his lack of good judgement alone. The scientists at the Wuhan lab themselves might be trustworthy. But when a totalitarian regime tells you to do something, you'd better do it if you value your life. Fauci's saying that he is not aware of any misuse of grant money occurred is not an acceptable response to a line of inquiry. If the Chinese government allows, encourages, and/or funds gain-of-function research, the United States has no business giving grant money to one of its labs. Such research is against the law in the United States. It is unethical. And there is no way to prove American taxpayers' money didn't go to fund it. You cannot separate the vanilla and eggs from the flour and the sugar once you've mixed them into the cake batter.

I’m beginning to wonder if this whole created in a lab thing is just another distraction. the number of deaths that occurred in the US in 2020 is consistent within the range of annual deaths. There was no massive number of excess deaths that a real epidemic would cause. The number of deaths from flu plummeted from 80,000 in 2018, to 1800 in 2019. This WUHAN narrative is to distract people from reality after having abused them for the last 18 months - it’s the flu.

Casey Anthony is tired of “getting drinks thrown in her face,” according to a police report. Anthony, famously acquitted of murder in the 2008 death of her young daughter, Caylee, informed investigators of the ongoing issue following an incident at a Florida bar called O’Shea’s Irish Pub. The once-accused killer called police to the West Palm Beach watering hole on Sunday after a tense run-in with a former friend, later identified as Thelma Moya, the police report stated. Anthony told responding officers the tiff—started over “an ex-boyfriend they were dating at the same time”—culminated in Moya spilling “water on [Anthony’s] left leg.”
