Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will not support the current legislation to form the January 6 commission, according to two sources who told Axios. According to Axios, the two sources were a part of the Republicans’ closed-door caucus lunch Tuesday where the minority leader told his Senate colleagues. McConnell, according to Axios’s sources, said something like: “There’s 41 of us who could change this, and I think we should.” After McConnell finished speaking, Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) reportedly also stood up and questioned parts of the deal, according to the report.

Voting machines in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, caused concern this week when registered Republicans and independent voters were seeing Democrat-labeled ballots on primary day.
Eyewitness News reported Tuesday that they had “received numerous calls from concerned citizens reporting issues with voting machines improperly labeling Republican ballots as Democrat.”

Even after being shut down on social media and having his primary avenue of communication — Twitter — cut off, turns out the Republican base still wants Trump to run for president again.
According to a new McLaughlin & Associates survey, 73% of the base wants Trump to run again in 2024. Even more would vote for him if he did run, with 83% saying they would do so. Those are some pretty big numbers, and it’s clear that it means the base hasn’t moved on from Trump.

A Georgia judge will allow absentee ballots from the 2020 election to be unsealed to have them examined for possible fraud.
In granting the motion on Friday, Henry County Superior Court Judge Brian Amero agreed to open 145,000 absentee ballots from Fulton County as part of a review into the 2020 election, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
One of the plaintiffs requesting to do an audit of Fulton County's results is Garland Favorito, the co-founder of a group called Voters Organized for Trusted Election Results in Georgia. Favorito is currently soliciting donations to fund the effort on social media, and on Thursday tweeted, "Dear #VoterGa supporters, Please send money. Thanks! Garland."

Democrats were trying to push through the vote on a “Jan. 6 Commission” today in the House.
They succeeded, with 35 Republicans crossing over to vote in favor of it, not seeming to care that it’s going to be a “bash Republicans” effort, rather than any sort of real investigation. There are already multiple investigations going on, so there wasn’t any need for an additional. This is simply an opportunity for Democrats to bash Republicans.
How do we know how biased this will be? Because we can already see how slimy Democrats are being about it.
