Anderson Cooper Hosts Jeopardy...Sets Record

Looks like Sony Pictures Television won’t be asking Anderson Cooper to permanently take up the Jeopardy mantle any time soon. The silver-haired CNN anchor pulled the least viewers of any guest host since Alex Trebek died of pancreatic cancer last November at age 80. In fact, Cooper scored the smallest audience of any guest host in the show’s history. According to ratings information obtained by The Wrap, with the 53-year-old Cooper at the helm, the long-running series dropped 7% from the week before when Green Bay Packers’ QB Aaron Rogers stood behind the iconic podium.

Made a point of not watching him. Aaron Rodgers was OK. We essentially gave up Jeopardy when the Trebek-hosted shows ended.

I refused to watch a second of Jeopardy the weeks that Anderson Cooper or Katie Communist Couric were hosting. Alex Trebek managed to keep any political ideology out of Jeopardy all those years. And yet the producers somehow thought that it was a good idea to bring in hard-core lie-beral ideologs to host what is predominantly a conservative audience. Stupid move!!!!!

Husband likes Jeopardy and Wheel, so we record both. Last week was hard to take, and so far this week, the host is awful. I don’t think I can take him for 2 weeks. Reading the whole article was scary with the list of upcoming hosts. We’ve never liked obnoxious Ken Jennings. Our favorite is still Mike Richards, the show’s producers.

Last Sunday, in my article "'Lost votes are fraud votes," I looked at the "lost votes" for the 2020 presidential election listed in Internet blogger "Pede's" analysis, and I described how, after adjusting for the thrown-away votes, Trump won Pennsylvania and will win (after the recount) Georgia, while Biden likely won Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, and possibly Arizona. But there's still something missing. "Pede's" data search exposed votes switched from Trump to Biden, and "votes lost" (mostly Trump votes thrown away); but there is a third category that escapes this type of data scanning: "votes added."

Facebook was justified in banning then-President Donald Trump from its platform the day after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, but it needs to reassess how long the ban will remain in effect, the social network’s quasi-independent Oversight Board said Wednesday. The decision to uphold the ban is a blow to Trump's hopes to post again to Facebook or Instagram anytime soon, but it opens the door to him eventually returning to the platforms. Facebook must complete a review of the length of the suspension within six months, the board said.
