A Black Los Angeles police officer who has worked in the city's Skid Row area for two decades invited LeBron James to have a discussion about policing following a much-criticized tweet from the Lakers star related to the fatal police shooting of a teenage girl.
Deon Joseph, a 24-year veteran of the LAPD, posted a letter to his Facebook page Sunday addressed to James where he called his stance on policing "off base and extreme."
James has frequently spoken out against racism and police misconduct in recent years.

Since the media gives James so much credence, I hope the Officer gets a sit down with James and I hope the Officer is loaded down with facts to debunk all of James "thoughts".
BTW, I hope receives a notice that he is being sued by the Officer that he said "your next".

The man lives in a mansion in a white neighborhood and makes million of dollars, but the ghetto and the thinking that keeps black people in it is ingrained in him. He cannot leave it.

If that officer thinks LeBron James cares, he is a fool.

Rather than talk with LeMoron, the officer should arrest him for inciting violence and making death threats against a police officer. Especially one who had just saved a least one black girl from being murdered.

#4 yes, ingrained is a good description. There is a scene in "South Pacific" where they sing about racism being "carefully taught".We aren't born with prejudices.
But the most enduring prejudices are created through personal experience and the blacks are reinforcing old stereotypes with their current behavior.

LeBron is infected with the same affliction as most all rich leftists who don't have to live a real life. Compare to Hollywood celebs and others.

That an idiot like Lebron James is viewed as an icon to so many blacks is just another example of the inner city black culture holding people in that community back, and giving them an excuse to maintain the role of victim. James is basically a high school dropout, but because he was big, and could play a game well, he's held up as some hero.

Let’s see the mr dribbles wants to make things better by seeing reality, or just wants to throw rocks from behind his twit account.

Here it is again, the word black capitalized in the article, three times. I have yet to read anything where the W in white is capitalized when not the first word

Good try, officer, but it will be like talking to a fence post. Perhaps the fence post will be a bit more responsive.

I must admit that I do not like LeBron James, never have. I used to watch a lot of basketball but have not watched for the last 2 seasons for obvious reasons. I would completely reverse my opinion of LeBron if he would sit down with this wonderful officer. My husband was a police officer as a young man and we made life long friends with his fellow officers and their families. It is heartbreaking to all of us to see what is happening to all of today's officers. We realize that there are some bad seeds but that is not very common. I thank this officer for trying to make the situation better.

Hope this officer schools James the racist idiot! LeBron is another Mouth Almighty! One of those who make comments but is too stupid to know anything about reality. What the hell has he to offer anyone other than the fact the light is on but seems no one home within him!
