Breaking: Dems Ready Legislation to Pack
the Supreme Court

Original Article

Posted By: Dreadnought, 4/15/2021 12:39:58 AM

On Thursday, Democrats in the U.S. House and Senate plan to unveil legislation to expand the size of the Supreme Court, potentially reversing the originalist gains under former President Donald Trump. The bill would add four seats to the Court, bringing the total from nine to 13, sources told The Intercept. Congress has the authority to set the number of justices on the Court, which has remained at 9 since 1869. House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), Subcommittee Chair Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), and Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-N.Y.) are leading the bill in the House while Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) will lead the effort in the Senate.

Sure, why not make it 100 SCOTUS justices. After all it has become so politicized it's really just another committee of Congress.

Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have terrible consequences because criminal lawlessness bordering on treason put them in power and these anti-American zealots are determined to take advantage of it. They are tying up any loose ends that would prevent them from consolidating their power indefinitely. This is a big one. Although we know we cannot count on SCOTUS to make decisions in accordance with the Constitution, there was a chance that they would recognize the mess we are in and rededicate themselves to the oath they have taken. Not a chance now. #5, has it right. We should never say just “pack the Court”, always tell it like it is. The O’Biden administration is going to pack the Court with radical democrats. Let’s be truthful and specific lest there be any doubt as to their motivation. Let the people know what the democrats intend to do. Each day is another body blow to the Constitution by an administration that could not win the 2020 election. They have seized power through a bloodless coup and called it a fair election. We know better.

I only dream of the day when Conservatives act so powerful as the libs, it will never be, but worth dreaming about. The dems are going to make the country that THEY want, NOT how it was founded. When President Trump said "The United States of America will Never be a Socialist Country", at the SOTU, it ticked them off and like they do, they will do the opposite of whatever the President said. It's punishment. What do we do when the ENEMY is in charge and totally intent on our demise?

The gutless supremes are going to get exactly what they were afraid of, when they tried to appease the rats. They punted on the obvious election fraud and now they reap what they sowed. The republicans are gutless wonders and are outsmarted and neutralized every time. They are all part of the same swamp that needs to be voted out. The America as we knew it is over.

We are tantalizingly close to parity in the House, but it is rules as though there was a supermajority. Just a couple of seats away. It seems that they are unstoppable, and yet they propose outrageous things with what seems to be little or no resistance from those who sell U.S. out to lobbyists and foreign interests. There was a time when those in DC would propse a pay raise for themselves or some other ridiculous legislation and the public would shame them and swat the effort down. How, they just put it into what amounts to and omnibus spending bill and pass it off with a cute and virtuous title as something that benefits American citizens, but really just benefits their cronies with 10% actually designated for the specific title of the bill. We are already at 102% of GDP. ANOTHER spending bill will just about finish us off with unpaid "mandates". Article V is about all that is left to defeat these corrupt vermin.

Here's a handy suggestion for you commiecrats: rename the former SCOTUS the 'Supreme Soviet'. Yes, I know the hideous policies will be envisioned and formulated elsewhere, but the SSOTUS will be the final rubber stamp on said policies, and that will make them final.

Despite his string of feckless decisions, I actually trust Roberts to obstruct, delay, dissemble, and employ any means possible to prevent packing of the Court. While he is a casual Conservative on issues like Obamacare, states’ sovereignty over election rules, and, one might reasonably assume, abortion, he is nevertheless rock-ribbed when it come to the independence of his Court. He doesn’t mind Dem efforts to ruin our lives but he will fight like hell to prevent them from ruining his own.

If they violate the Constitution, who's going to hold them accountable? Not the Justice Dept, FBI, or Luciferian media. If Dems can add jurists to the court then Republicans can also add jurists. Thus the law has become meaningless and judges are no better than common criminals, they don't rule on law, just prejudice and bribes. Big tech is using their data to create fake ballots. All that is needed in most states to create a mail in ballot is a name, an address and a birthday, a machine can sign it. Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft now run our government. Meanwhile the “Anti-Fascists” are running around voting for this Fascism. Welcome to the 21st century.

They're demanding 4 more SCOTUS justices ... but will compromise on an extra 2. Make no mistake about it. And don't count on any Dem stopping it. I absolutely despise the Democrat leaders --- and their voters are not too high on my list either but I grant them the possibility they are just mindless fools --- BUT (note the big "but") the Dem leaders never, ever lose sight of their goals! Always have their eyes on the prize. Always closing the sale, never giving up. You become a top Dem just like getting to the top of the Mafia. You become a "made man" by lying, cheating, stealing and killing without compunction --- whenever you want. Their determination is admirable if not sinfully diabolical --- like selling your soul to the Devil so you can gain earthly delights. The heck with tomorrow! Among a lot of other things, the leftist and liberal Democrats want to create a new enlarged Supreme Court with an absolute lefty majority of Justices who will come out with decisions like ruling that the Second Amendment to the US Constitution is unconstitutional, anybody see anything wrong with that? Biden’s big move relating to the Supreme Court will come if they can intimidate and run off the current wimpy Republican Chief Justice John Roberts, when Biden nominates Barack Obama to be the next Chief Justice. An action that is bound to 100% politicize the Supreme Court into another Democrat political machine.

It's a shot across the bow. They probably don't expect the "Pack the Court with Partisan Democrats" bill to become law, but it doesn't have to. The Democrats just have to threaten the USSCT that they have the POWER to do so, while a number of cases critical to their national power seizure wend their way up to the high court. Roosevelt's threat to pack the Supreme Court in the 1930s didn't go anywhere, but EVERY law student learns about "the switch in time that saved nine." I'm sure that Roberts et al thought that by avoiding taking any election cases, they could appease the Democrats. But the Democrats are not appeasable; they will take what you give them and then seize more. You'd think guys and gals smart enough to make the Supreme Court bench would know that.

There is something strange about the behavior of Biden and the Democrats that can be best explained by a combination of Progressive mania and panic that their power might well slip away from them unless they lock it down by changing the rules in their favor and whipping up paranoia within key minority groups who are showing signs of slipping away. Hence the relentless charges of racism. The Texas Senate approved a controversial transgender sports bill Thursday that would force young athletes in Texas to compete in sports only that align with their sex as designated on their original birth certificate rather than their gender identity. The 18-12 vote comes after a marathon hearing on March 26 that featured emotional testimony on the bill that foes decry as discriminatory and anti-LGBTQ. Supporters argue that allowing transgender women to compete on a women’s team puts others in physical danger, while opponents consider it a non-issue, insisting that legislation is unnecessary and unfairly targets transgender youth. The bill is one of several in the Texas Legislature that bill opponents call anti-transgender.

Biden’s policies have gotten him 64 percent disapproval among independents, and 55 percent disapproval among Latinos, according to a Quinnipiac poll of 1,237 adults, conducted April 8-12. Just 22 percent of swing-voting independents and 27 percent of Latinos support Biden’s policy to extricate hundreds of thousands of migrants from their countries into a Hunger Games-style obstacle course, so they can be used in the U.S. economy. GOP voters strongly oppose these policies, so the Quinnipiac numbers translate into a national disapproval rate of 55 percent

How did this happen? How did the nation go in an instant from disbelieving every utterance of Donald Trump to robotically repeating — and acting on — every claim that falls out of Joe Biden’s mouth, no matter how disconnected from the truth? The most glaring example involves Biden’s fact-challenged tirade against Georgia’s new voting law. At his first and only press conference, Biden declared the state’s efforts to protect against voter fraud were worse than Jim Crow, “un-American,” “sick,” and “despicable.” (This was the same press conference where moments later Biden bragged about how much time he’s spent with China’s genocidal communist dictator before calling him “a smart, smart guy.”)

White House press secretary Jen Psaki called the video of 13-year-old Adam Toledo getting shot by a Chicago police office 'chilling' during Friday's press briefing. Psaki said she hadn't spoken to President Joe Biden before the morning briefing, so didn't know if he'd watched it, but said it served as a 'reminder' that 'too often in this country law enforcement uses unnecessary force, too often resulting in the death of black and brown Americans.' She said the shooting was unnecessary after Chicago cops released bodycam footage showing the boy had a gun and dropped it just before the officer opened fire.

Hunter Biden's new autobiography, Beautiful Things posted disappointing sales in its first week on the shelves, selling just over 10,000 copies despite a massive promotional push. The new 272-page book detailing Hunter's struggles with addiction and tragedy debuted at #12 on the Publisher's Weekly hardcover nonfiction chart, after selling a meager 10,638 copies. It was edged out slightly in the rankings by 'The Calcium Connection: The Little-Known Enzyme at the Root of Your Cellular Health.' Topping the list was poet Amanda Gorman's The Hill We Climb: An Inaugural Poem for the Country, which sold 42,000 copies for the week.

Say what you want about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, but one thing about the first-term Republican Congresswoman from Georgia that no one can dispute is that she does not back down from a fight, especially when she’s on the receiving end of an unprovoked attack.(Snip)The latest Democrat to learn that Greene has not morphed into a meek and timid freshman lawmaker after the House voted in February to strip her of her committee assignments was Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA), .(Snip) It all started on Wednesday after Greene challenged Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) to a debate about the Green New Deal.

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” White House Chief Medical Adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said that fully vaccinated people can go to indoor restaurants, but “it’s a relative risk. When you have a lot of infection in the community, then you want to be careful. That’s why we say, wear a mask.” Host Joy Reid asked if fully vaccinated people can eat in indoor restaurants, fly, or hug their older relatives. Fauci said, “You know, it depends on the level of infection in your community. It doesn’t matter what the level of infection is, if you are vaccinated and you want to have something in the home, you, your family

With all this push for Hollywood “diversity” one often wonders if Hollywood has a vendetta against traditional standards of movie making. According to one insider, that’s exactly the case for at least one major studio. Sci-fi author Nick Cole, co-author of the Galaxy’s Edge series, claimed that during a pitch meeting, a major Hollywood studio passed on a recent project he had been working on, citing the fact that they’re done producing content for “White, Christian, Trash.” Oh wow, that’s a hell of a way to say it. Perhaps this is the sentiment underlying Hollywood’s spate of inclusivity-over-everything pledges they’ve made in the past few years.

Public support for marijuana legalization has reached a new high. According to pollsters at Quinnipiac University, 69 percent of all Americans and clear majorities in every demographic group now favor the legalization of marijuana. (Snip) Support isn't just growing, it is broadening. The Quinnipiac poll found that 78 percent of self-identified Democrats, 62 percent of self-identified Republicans, and 67 percent of self-identified independents favor legalization.

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn —When William Adams moved to this area a few years ago, he joined thousands of Minneapolis residents in transforming Brooklyn Center from the mostly White suburb it once was into one where people of color account for more than half the population. But as he tried to settle into the community, Adams, who is Black, was always reminded of how Brooklyn Center police used to harass him in the early 1970s when he came to visit his girlfriend, who was White. “They would see something hanging in the window, or a light out on my car and
Can we finally start ignoring Fauci? 21 replies

Anybody who’s taking Dr. Anthony Fauci seriously probably needs to stop doing so. He endlessly moves the goalposts to maintain his unlimited power over the American people, something Democrats support. That’s why, on Thursday, during House testimony, Rep. Maxine Watters (who is a low-rent harridan) tried to shut down Rep. Jim Jordan’s efforts to get Fauci to say when enough Americans will be vaccinated so that COVID restrictions can end. The past year has shown that Fauci either has no idea what he’s talking about or is trying to advance an agenda that invariably has to do with maintaining the 2020 status quo of lockdowns, isolation, and masks.
