Coca-Cola, whose CEO denounced the Georgia voting bill, is now striking a conciliatory tone after coming under pressure from conservatives.
The soda giant, which is based in Atlanta, was absent from a list of more than 500 corporations and individuals that signed a statement condemning any election legislation that would “restrict” voters from having “an equal and fair opportunity to cast a ballot.” The missive was placed as a two-page Wednesday ad in the New York Times and Washington Post, with the effort being organized by the Black Economic Alliance.

Or here's a novel thought - keep your mouth shut on political matters and stick to making soft drinks.

The two page 'letter' was very generic and bland. Who could be against democracy(!)? Yet Coke didn't sign it and neither did Delta (as pointed out in this article.) Who else didn't sign it? WDC (Disney), for one, didn't sign it. Most corporations didn't. Most of the '500' were individuals virtue signaling to the Democratic House and White House.

What's wrong, Coke? Alienating conservative patriotic customers like adding Mentos to drink? Nothing short of an apology and retraction will be considered "the Real Thing." Until then.....RC Cola deserves a second glance...and swig.

This is an extremely positive development if Coke is being honest.
The left has a boatload of ways to steal elections, why die on the Georgia voting bill hill?
Any slightly open door to reason is a huge chink in the monolithic ideologue left armor.

The state of Georgia found common ground. Just because stupid CEO's are afraid of woke idiots is no reason to cave to lies about a common sense law.

I'm drinking Diet Cheerwine if I want a soda. Beer otherwise... :-)

Someone, or "someone's", on the Board Of Directors probably told the CEO, "Hey. Let me clue you in. We're here to sell a product and no on gives a crap about your political views. So, why don't you just shut your yapper and sell our product?".

You'd think Coke would learn from a previous marketing fiasco called New Coke not to get sideways with the buying public again. But no, they step in it again by playing politics with the Georgia voting reform bill and lose at least half of their buying public again for the second time. Stockholders gotta be unhappy with their moron CEO and the Board of Directors will need to act as their stock value goes in the toilet. Coke is stuck on stupid.

Sorry #38, Pepsi was one of the companies that gave in to the BLM shakedown and gave them over $100,000,000 last year. They gave another $300,000,000 to other "black initiatives" (which are just other black shysters keeping $10,000 of every donation for every $1 that actually spend in the black communities).
Nope, so far Dr. Pepper seems safe. But Coke and Pepsi are both far too "woke" for my tastes any more!!!
