Russia has warned the US to keep its warships away from Crimea 'for their own good' as it accused the West of turning the region into a 'powder keg'. At a press conference today, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov called the US's deployment in the Black Sea, due to arrive this week, a provocation designed to test Russian nerves. The move comes amid an escalation in fighting in eastern Ukraine where government forces have battled Russian-backed troops - with Russia now thought to have massed more than 80,000 troops along Ukraine's eastern border. As fighting continues, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg warned Russia not to push its troop buildup

NATO is not going to war over the Crimea.
The Ukraine was sold a bill of goods when it joined NATO. They rightfully assumed that the alliance was just that, an alliance. Like all alliances and treaties, with no enforcement mechanism, they aren't worth the paper they are printed on. And their life expectancy is entirely dependent on the needs, wants and willing sacrifices of the participants.
Defending the Ukraine against Russia would be expensive in both capital and blood.

The MSM has been very quiet about this over the past two weeks and has hidden from the American public what is really going on and how serious it. Ukraine issued what is basically a declaration of war on Russia on March 24th declaring that it is the official policy of Ukraine to take back Crimea from Russia. Since then they have built up Ukrainian troops along areas within Ukraine that Russia has NOT annexed but declared to protect Russian citizens that are living there (The US govt fails to protect American citizens and businesses in America. Look at Portland and all other BLM centers of "protest"). NATO wants to intimidated Russia and the US wants NordStream 2 stopped. Russia is not going to bowdown to Biden or Nato. War is a strong possibility and could easily spiral out of control to become a much larger conflict. We have lost our moral standing and leadership in this world AND the Neocon pshycos are happy to get hundreds of thousands killed for their own power trip. Prayers to those with children and family in the military America no longer inspires fear to play such brinkmanship games with Russia or China.

Someone explain the American national interest in Ukraine. If this is a NATO problem let out Euro allies handle it. Doesn't Britain still rule the waves? Those Norwegians and Danes are always spoiling for a rumble. The Germans can send their fleet of schnitzel wagons, so popular as their contribution to that highly touted "alliance of the willing".

We refuse to defend our own border, and in fact actively encourage transgressors, so why in the world would we defend the Ukraine? And as #4 points out, they're yet another foreign entanglement that's of no benefit to us whatsoever.

Trust Biden, the foreign affairs expert, will do the wrong thing very true to his nature. Putin is just a dog face pony soldier to the spry, healthy, fit, stair climber Joe Biden.

By sending those two destroyers that near to Russia in an area under the control of the Russian military, Biden is essentially hanging them out on a string, with a miscalculation on the part of the Russians, or on the ships, quickly turning into a disaster for Europe.

Putin won't invade the Ukraine. Remember the Ukraine has a warrant out for Biden for the dealings that he had. Joe is trying to appease them right now. But the Deep State plans were to always have a war so that the "reset" could be done. So let's see if the rhetoric continues.

China tells Biden to butt out over the affair with Taiwan. Putin tells Biden to butt out concerning the Crimea. No doubt North Korea will tell the Fraud-in-Chief to mind his own business as they prepare to invade South Korea. I see a pattern of deep respect for Joe here.

Looks like Ukraine is about to lose all those millions it invested in the Bidens. Note to future "international investors:" the Bidens don't STAY bought,
