As usual, Republicans appear to be the only ones trying to sound the alarm about the worsening crisis regarding the massive influx of illegal migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border, especially Republicans from border states.In recent weeks, Republicans from Texas especially have led delegations to the state to talk to Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who are struggling to deal with the influx. In March alone, for instance, a record 170,000 migrants were intercepted crossing illegally into the U.S., with 1,000 or more getting away…each day.

The Biden administration announced Tuesday that it will send 500 more U.S. troops to Germany, reversing former President Donald Trump’s troop withdrawal policies. Yesterday, news broke that somewhere around 100 companies joined a private conference call to discuss how to combat red states that dare have reasonable regulations around voting. This is, of course, all stemming from the lies surrounding Georgia’s recent election reform law (see here and here for more details on that).
The companies involved included such mainstays as Coca-Cola, United Airlines, Wal-Mart, AMC Theaters, and Aflac. Apparently, this entire “conflab” was put together by Jeffrey Sonnefeld, a Yale professor. As per our usual arrangement, this garbage starts in our ivy league schools.
