Aiming big, Biden is looking to restore faith in government

WASHINGTON — As President Joe Biden preaches patience but acts with urgency, his vision of the powers of the Oval Office is quickly taking shape, modeled after Democratic predecessors who dramatically expanded the reach of government to confront generational crises. In a recent meeting with historians and in private conversations with advisers, Biden looked to the examples set by Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson as he aims to use the levers of executive authority to create opportunities and break down barriers. Unlike Roosevelt and Johnson, who enjoyed formidable Democratic majorities in Congress, Biden has had to operate with a no-margin-for-error edge in fiercely partisan Washington.CORRECTION*

the best way for shuffles "to restore faith in government" would be to resign, declare the election was a fraud and declare Donald J. Trump the legally elected President of the United States. and, of course I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

Really? FDR was a wartime President. Biden going to start a war? There is absolutely no support for one no matter what the media says. LBJ quit after one term. Maybe Biden will quit too. Biden isn't the person to restore faith in government. Is he going to fix the debt? He can fix everything by growing the government? What are these people smoking? All the problems facing our country are being caused by our government.

Obama wanted to make government “cool again.” I don’t want cool government. Government needs to mind their own business. And leave their grubby hands away from individual liberties. When Biden says something, he intends the opposite. Unite, no he wants to tear the country apart. Restore faith, nope. All he does has the objective to crackdown on freedoms and destroy the middle class. Biden and his goons are dangerous criminals.

The demented old puppet in the White House along with the degenerates who run congress and the cowards who run the courts have worked furiously to destroy what is left of constitutional law while ignoring fraud and corruption on a scale never seen in our history. WASHINGTON — It won’t rival Netflix for drama, but 40 world leaders will try to save the planet from ever-worsening global warming in a two-day climate summit livestreamed for binge viewing. While there will be many faces on screen, this will clearly be President Joe Biden’s show. Biden will convene the summit on Thursday, and what he says will call the shots for what’s to come. He’s trying to show that the United States is again serious about cutting pollution of heat-trapping gases with a new American goal for reducing emissions. Then he’ll try to cajole other nations to ratchet up the pollution-cutting promises

The administration had previously announced $15 million for the Palestinians to combat the coronavirus pandemic. n the debate over whether one should or should not get the COVID vaccination, much has been said about the “science.” However, I’m not sure any encyclopedic knowledge of “science” is required to make this health decision. Simple statistical analysis should suffice to inform one’s ultimate decision. Statistics is primarily a study of probabilities. Fortunately, as regards COVID mortality rates, these probabilities are now known. That is, COVID mortality statistics broken down by age cohorts are now “known knowables.” For example, through statistics as of April 7, the odds an American under the age of 25 would die from COVID were 1-in-106,217.
