Far-left billionaire George Soros has committed $500 million to a private liberal arts college in New York that seeks to enrich “democratic discourse by training tomorrow’s thought leaders.” Bard College announced that the donation is a “gift” and described it as “among the largest ever made to higher education in the United States.” The university said the funding “will facilitate and strengthen Bard’s exemplary educational and social initiatives, establish the College’s most substantial endowment ever, and set the stage for a $1 billion endowment drive.”

Smithsonian Magazine recently reported on a fascinating new theory which archaeologists believe solves a puzzling mystery regarding the skull of a 5,600-year old woman, found in Northern Italy. The woman’s skull was discovered in a remote corner of an expansive cave, and previous theories assumed the skull had been placed there after her death by prehistoric contemporaries. It now seems probable, according to the scientists, that the skull actually came to rest at the unlikely location as the result of natural forces; mudslides and flood waters. The hypothesis by researchers at the University of Bologna is just the latest example of modern science

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has filed a legal brief to weaken an upcoming audit of suspect ballots in his latest peculiar move to stand in the way of electoral transparency.
Activists with VoterGA have pushed to subject ballots in Fulton County, GA to a forensic audit. A judge has acquiesced to their demands, but Raffensperger is fighting to keep the ballots from being properly inspected. The amicus brief filed by Raffensperger’s office can be seen here.
“The Secretary respectfully requests that the Court permit Petitioners to inspect ballot images only, and deny Petitioners’ request to inspect and scan ballots,” the brief states.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) is “stunned” American Airlines issued a statement opposing an election integrity bill, Senate Bill 7, following passage early Thursday morning, as the CEO admittedly did not read the legislation.
“I am stunned that American Airlines would put out a statement saying ‘we are strongly opposed to this bill’ [Senate Bill 7],” the lieutenant governor said, “just minutes after their government relations representative called my office and admitted that neither he nor the American Airlines CEO had actually read the legislation.”
Patrick said he heard the same outcries from corporations in 2011 — claims that Texas passed a “voter suppression”

Data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the number of injuries and deaths reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) following COVID vaccines revealed steadily rising numbers, but no new trends. VAERS is the primary mechanism for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed. Every Friday, VAERS makes public all vaccine injury reports received to the system as of Friday of the previous week. Today’s data show that between Dec. 14, 2020, and March 26, a total of 50,861 total adverse events were reported

We’ve all heard about the COVID passport idea that the Biden White House endorses and will allow Big Tech to develop, right? You will not be permitted to return to any aspect of normal life…unless you show your papers. Sounds like the Soviet Union…because that’s what they had, an internal passport system. The civil liberties part of this debate is just the top layer. The security of this whole system should be called into question too. It will track who got vaccinated, so a lot of sensitive information will be stored by the government which means hackers will never ever target that, right? Are we all on crack?

David Koresh was the leader of a religious cult, the Branch Davidians. He and many of his followers met a tragic end in 1993 at their Waco, Texas compound. Jim Jones fled the United States to Jonestown, Guyana. He, along with more than 900 of his devotees, ended up dead in a mass murder-suicide in November 1978.
In both cases, their disciples believed these cult leaders. They believed their message.
The 2020 viral pandemic caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)—COVID-19—has also gathered a Charles Manson-like cult following. Borrowing from Koresh’s denominational moniker, let’s call them the Branch Covidians.

Finally, we have some great news to share!
The Republican Senate in Arizona made the courageous decision patriots around the country have been hoping for. These Republicans decided upon the team who will be performing the upcoming audit in Maricopa County and it’s an excellent list of entities. This was great news…. finally.
The Republican Senate in Arizona has more courage today than all the politicians in the entire country combined. Democrats should have been on board today and the fact that they are absent indicates that they are complicit if any wrongdoing is uncovered. Russian forces massing on the border with Ukraine have prompted the U.S. European Command to raise its watch level to its highest point of “potential imminent crisis”, according to a New York Times report Tuesday night. On Wednesday, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley spoke to senior Russian Gen. Valery Gerasimov about the buildup, according to Russia. Four Ukrainian soldiers were killed last week in an extended battle in the contested Donetsk Region against Russia-backed separatists. Russian forces that were thought to have gathered for training exercises near the border have stayed and grown in numbers, prompting concerns. Under Presidents

Vox is known for being that website you go to when you either need to see what the hard-left is thinking or you accidentally clicked a link someone posted in their article that leads back to it. I posit that there’s a third reason you go there; inspiration. For instance, take the fact that Vox is doing what all good NPC’s on the left “.exe” when a mass shooting happens and pushing the idea of gun control in some form or another. In this go-round, Vox wants to horrify you by telling you how many guns are actually circulating around America, or something they call “America’s gun problem”:

Dr. Michael Yeadon, a former Vice President and Chief Science Officer for Pfizer, spoke with great urgency to America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) late last week warning that the drive to inject the largest possible portion of the population with experimental COVID-19 vaccines is “madness,” involves “evil,” includes “crimes against humanity” and may have the intention of “massive-scale depopulation.” Yeadon’s comments are also made in the broader context of a sharp debate over theories offered by Geert Vanden Bossche, a vaccine expert associated with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, who, with the appearance of a “whistleblower” has also warned of a “global catastrophe without equal” due to the way

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Monday railed against the idea of vaccine passports, pledging he would ban businesses from requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination for entry. This comes after New Yorkers starting last Friday were first able to use such a passport to gain entry to certain events and venues. “You want the fox to guard the hen house? I mean, give me a break,” DeSantis said of allowing companies to have access to vaccination information, at a press briefing in Tallahassee, Florida. “I think this is something that has huge privacy implications, it is not necessary to do.”

I am glad to see Jovan Pulitzer being enthused about this process.
