During this week’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show,” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) acknowledged the Biden border plan, which has led to what some are describing as a crisis, much to be desired. She said, however, there was a plan in place the Biden administration had shared with members of Congress. “[N]ow Jonathan, we have a situation that is a humanitarian concern,” she said. “We do have issues with any number of children. Joe Biden called an early lid today at 1:13 p.m. Now that’s some kind of a workday. Too bad we all can’t have that kind of a workday!
But he left his people like Jen Psaki and his most frequent companion and handler, Kamala Harris, to deal with the border fallout in his place.
Harris was flying to Florida to pitch the Biden bill that they already passed. It’s pretty astounding how much they think they have to sell it, read spin it. It’s all about propaganda, which clearly is the priority here.

Over the last several days and reaching a crescendo today, the mainstream media has been sounding the newsroom equivalent of a four-alarm fire over the growing chaos at the southern border, because the Biden team are persisting with their Baghdad Bob act over the matter. See, for example, how the morning news shows depicted the matter: All of the media stories right now should be understood as memos from the PR wing to Biden and the rest of the Democratic leadership that the chaos at the southern border threatens political catastrophe.

The journalists at Good Morning America on Monday marveled at the incompetence of the Biden administration’s border policy, even calling it a “crisis.” But reporter Cecilia Vega still managed to use loaded language, deriding the Trump White House’s “hardline” efforts.
Showing that things have gotten so bad even liberal network journalists can’t hide it anymore, Robin Roberts marveled, “Now to the crisis at the border.” Vega was frank in describing the Biden-created chaos: “The Biden administration, they moved quickly to overturn many of Trump's hardline immigration policies. Billionaire Leon Black, co-founder of one of Wall Street’s most prominent investment firms, unexpectedly stepped down early from his position as chief executive of Apollo Global Management on Monday, the latest in a series of moves following an inquiry into his ties to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Apollo Global Management announced that Black will be leaving immediately, citing health issues he and his wife are experiencing. The company had announced in January that Black would be stepping down as chief executive before 31 July.

AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine was 79 percent effective in preventing symptomatic disease and 100 percent effective against severe disease and hospitalization in a new U.S.-based clinical trial, the company announced on Monday.
Experts did not find any safety concerns related to the vaccine, including any increased risk of rare blood clots that have raised concern in Europe.
