Gov. Kristi Noem Sends
Transgender Athletes Bill
Back to Legislature for Changes

Original Article

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) returned a bill designed to prevent biological men from competing in biological women’s sports back to her state legislature on Friday for changes. Noem cited in a public letter changes she is requesting to the bill, specifying they are revisions of “style and form.” The changes include removing collegiate athletics from the bill, thereby limiting its application to K–12 athletics, and modifying language about civil liability and performance-enhancing drugs.(Snip) South Dakota Chamber of Commerce President David Owen confirmed to The Federalist that business groups were indeed pressuring the governor about the bill and threatening boycotts

Comments:

Twisted threats from the staunchly anti-American Chamber of Commerce take precedence over codifying that young women should not have to compete against men in college sports. Good to know that Gov. Noem is so "business-friendly"; passing this little test will win her solid backing later on, but not from me.

These are not changes in "style and form" if you are not including collegiate athletics. Apparently the NCAA is fully on board with transgender idiocy, and we wouldn't want to upset them now would we?

At first glance, this revision seems flat out wrong, and a woman especially must know this instinctively. However, I have enough respect for Gov. Noem that I’ll wait for further explanation. If none is forthcoming...🤬

The revisions Kristi Noem requested are reasonable, as she is always. The media wants to take her down. Don't believe the snipe.

We can talk about conservative principles and make an airtight case - on paper. But in a society being engulfed by lunacy and totalitarianism don't expect any public official to come out unscathed.
