Is COVID Almost Over?

Original Article

I massively underestimated the impact of the Wuhan virus a year ago, both the health impact and more important, as it turned out, the consequences of the political response to the virus. This no doubt was due in part to the fact that I personally never had any fear of the Wuhan flu bug. So there have been a couple of times when I thought the Wuhan scare was nearly behind us. My track record isn’t very good, so you should take these comments with a grain of salt. A considerable number of new Wuhan cases are still being reported

Yes kids it’s all over. But since they are manufacturing new virus variants all the time this thing will go on for years and years. Better stock up on masks and face shields next time you go to Costco.

From the article: The median age of death of reported covid victims is equal to, or–as in Minnesota–older than the average life expectancy. The fact that we have blighted the lives of our young people and devastated many millions of lives and businesses on account of this virus is, in my opinion, criminal. Amen.

I have 8 siblings, two children, two grandchildren and 15 nieces and nephews. Out of all those people in my family (and I haven't even mentioned the dozens of cousins) only two got the covid and it was VERY light. Just one day of feeling bad and then five days with lost of smell and taste. Almost every one I know who got this virus badly was old, overweight or had other conditions. I am tired of it all. I am going to have a vacation this year no matter what president asterisk says.

Covid will be over when they have collected all guns, distributed your 401k and you are standing in line for food rations.

Claim Biden Is 'Impervious' to Comedy

Remember the excuses peddled by comedians during the Obama years? This bright, handsome president is so smart, and thoughtful, there’s just nothing to poke fun at. We’ve tried oh, so hard, but it’s impossible. They clung to that nonsense, hard, for eight solid years. Jay Pharoah, tasked with portraying the president on the hard-left Saturday Night Live, later admitted the NBC show “gave up” even trying. Except when they used “comedy” to praise him. Meanwhile, conservatives pummeled President Obama with jokes throughout his presidency.

As we have noted several times, President Biden appears to be in a state of age-related mental decline. The mainstream media are playing the part of the courtiers and townsfolk in “The emperor’s new clothes.” Along comes historian and Spectator deputy editor Dominic Green to play the part of the little child in the Telegraph column “President Biden is crumbling before our eyes.” Here is the top half: Joe Biden’s decline has become so painful to see and so embarrassing to watch that it feels cruel to mention it. But it’s even more cruel that Biden’s team act as if it’s not happening
Portland Mayor Wants to Bring Back a

Portland is in big trouble. Gun violence is up 2 1/2 times over the same period last year and ever since the city council voted a 7% cut in the police budget, the city streets have exploded in violence. The police unit dedicated to fighting gun violence — the Gun Violence Reduction Team — was disbanded because too many black people were being arrested, which means it was racist…or something. Regardless, getting rid of a unit that did nothing all day but combat gun violence had immediate consequences. Former Salinas, Calif., Police Chief Kelly McMillin told the Portland police,

Shops, restaurants and schools will be closed across most of Italy on Monday, with PM Mario Draghi warning of a "new wave" of the coronavirus outbreak. For three days over Easter, 3-5 April, there will be a total shutdown. Italy, which one year ago imposed one of the first national lockdowns, is once again struggling to contain the rapid spread of infections. The country has reported more than 100,000 Covid-related deaths, Europe's second-highest tally after the UK. Italy's vaccination campaign has been hit by delays, as has been seen elsewhere in the European Union.

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is remaining silent about the growing scandals surrounding New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), who recently received an Emmy award from the group in recognition of his daily coronavirus press briefings. Breitbart News reached out the academy for comment, but the organization hasn’t responded. As Breitbart News reported, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) issued a joint statement Friday in which they called on Cuomo to resign. Reps. Jerry Nadler and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) have also called on the governor to step down.

On Friday’s broadcast of CBS’ “Late Show,” White House Chief Medical Adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci stated that people who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus can transmit the virus, but there’s recent data that says the amount of virus that people who have been vaccinated have is “extremely low. And I think a couple of months from now, I might modify that statement and say it would be extremely unusual that you would transmit it. But right now, just to be careful, wear a mask.” Host Stephen Colbert asked, “If you’ve been vaccinated, can you give the virus to others, and should you still wear a mask?”

Washington really is the last nakedly racist place in America. And the very face of this city’s institutional racism is President Biden himself. Welcome to the White Privilege Presidency. Mr. Biden is living proof that no matter how dumb you are or how wrong you have always been or how many things you have screwed up, if you are just White enough and willing to wait around long enough accomplishing nothing, the kingship will eventually be yours. This is a guy who had been rejected by voters — often in his own party — in his endless quest for the presidency many times during his five decades running his mouth in Washington.

The Wall Street Journal, owned by billionaire Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp., is banning its reporters from using the term “illegal immigrant” and “illegal” to refer to illegal aliens living in the United States. This week, in an update its style guide, the Journal states that while it will allow reporters to continue using the term “illegal immigration” to describe the process of illegal aliens arriving and staying in the U.S., it will no longer permit reporters to describe individuals as “illegal” or “illegal immigrant” in an effort to stop “labeling people.” The Journal style guide revisions now state:

Take 10 minutes out of your Friday afternoon to skim through this fascinating (and user-friendly) set of data from the polling firm Fabrizio and Lee about where Republican loyalties lie in the post-Trump era. A few weeks ago I wrote that available polling points to the GOP splitting into three groups along 50/30/20 lines: “Fifty percent are hardcore MAGA, to the point where they’re more loyal to Trump than to the party. Another 30 percent are pro-Trump but a bit more ambivalent about having to choose between him and the GOP. The last 20 percent are the Trump-skeptics, a rump but a sizable enough one that they can make mischief

As we wrote about earlier, during his prime time address last night, Joe Biden thought he could tell Americans who could and could not get together on July 4th for a BBQ. His Chief of Staff, Ron Klain, then doubled down on this goal, that the government hopes to let you gather, in small groups, by July 4th (despite having the other goal of having everyone vaccinated by May 1). Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was among the many people who had something to say about Joe Biden’s suggestion that the government could tell us when and with whom to gather on July 4th. Or frankly, any day.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton threatened to sue the City of Austin Wednesday over the city’s continuation of a mask mandate. Governor Abbott removed the statewide mask mandate last week and his order went into effect Wednesday. Austin Mayor Steve Adler and Travis County Judge Andy Brown are keeping a mask mandate in effect until April 15 to “avoid another surge of cases.” I assume that the mayor and county judge (county CEO, not a judicial office) are concerned that newly free-to-be maskless Texans will throw caution to the wind. Now that the implications of the Harris/Biden administration are setting in, my Democrat friends (yes, I do have a few) are becoming very embarrassed. They bought into the propaganda that all the turmoil in Washington was created by the erratic and immoral behavior of Donald Trump. Their vote for Harris/Biden was a vote to return to normal. They didn’t realize that the Democrats weren’t offering a return to normal, they were offering the establishment of a “new normal.” (snip) My friends are belatedly realizing that the turmoil was not created by Donald Trump. And the proposed bank, or “ark,” would be beneath the moon’s surface. As our planet faces natural disasters, drought, asteroids and the potential for nuclear war—to name a few troubles—scientists say that humans must set their sights on space travel to preserve life as we know it. “Earth is naturally a volatile environment,”
