Remember when Democrats claimed that Donald Trump was ruining our reputation overseas?Remember when they said that the rest of the world was laughing at Trump? Especially China? Then why are 14-foot tall “Trump Buddha” statues selling our all over China? These aren’t cheap. They’re going for over $600 USD, which means they are proportionately much more expensive for Chinese people. The reality is that President Trump was an extremely successful and popular president for both Americans and non-Americans alike.

I have never seen anyone capture the public’s imagination like Donald John Trump. You either hate him or love him, but you are not ambivalent. His draw is his fearlessness and willingness to confront those who need to be confronted. He is one in a million, a fighter and someone who will not apologize for this country and its contribution to this world. He is an alpha male in a sea of beta boys. You may hate him, his style may put you off but you cannot deny his ability to get things done. Just thank God he is on the side of good because he would be hell on wheels if he had the evil mind set of a George Soros.

If they would make one that was 8 inches tall, and sell them here, I would have one on the coffee table in my living room. I bet they could sell about 80 million of them here.

I love this "in-your-face" stuff, but the headline is a bit deceiving. In the article it says that only 100 were made and that "dozens" have been sold...and they're going fast. Anyhow---if it's good enough to make the Dems and GOPe blood's good enough for me.

14 feet tall, huh?? Well, having something that tall on your front lawn would certainly stop the neighborhood sign thief from stealing it, wouldn't it?? They might try to "decorate" it, but they wouldn't easily steal it!!

Just a guess, but I would bet that the Buddhist's aren't real happy about this. Don't worry, they will be available in the US soon. No one can pass up this idea to make a buck. Make one to portray Muhammed if you really want to start some trouble.

I think it's a great idea and would buy the 8 inch one if it becomes available. I do have a question though. Why do some publications/print ads have to Photoshop the product? I would trust a K-Tel commercial over this stuff any day.

Check with the original links...many of these statues are sold to business people as gimmicks, conversation pieces, and aren't necessarily complimentary at all. One buyer reportedly said, “Trump can also be regarded as a representative of an era, and extreme egoism. Now the era has passed but I want the statue to remind me: Don’t be too Trump,” Even this article quotes, “'Most people just bought it for fun,' the Trump Buddha’s seller told Global Times, adding that dozens of the statues have already sold." These aren't likely going into homes of the common people. $614 is peanuts for the business people who commonly drive around in their Cadillacs, Buicks, BMWs and more than a few Lambos, Bentleys and Rolls.

Experts have said fears of a 'fourth wave' hitting the US may have been overblown as Florida continues to record falling coronavirus cases and deaths despite having more cases of the UK's super-COVID variant than any other state. CDC data shows a fifth of all US cases of the more highly contagious and more deadly B.1.1.7 strain first detected in the south of England have come from the Sunshine State. In total, Florida has recorded 690 cases, dwarfing much of the rest of the US where 44 of all 50 states have recorded fewer than 100 cases. Democrats are unyielding in their quest for a permissive society where there is little if any personal responsibility.Nowhere is this more apparent than their preferred policies on the killing of unborn babies, and amid the current marijuana craze liberal politicians are borrowing from that campaign to mainstream weed.Just as Democrats pursued laws allowing minors to have an abortion without telling their parents, New Jersey has legalized the consumption of marijuana, in all its forms, on private property and enacted a law restricting law enforcement from notifying the parents of minors who are caught with possession of weed or alcohol. The Biden administration has enjoyed no honeymoon. The cabal that addled Joe Biden fronts really didn’t want one. Bridge-building, comity, and compromise are passé. What Ron Klain, Susan Rice, and a knot of plutocrats and “progressives” who pull Joe’s strings want are crises. Manufactured crises are just as good as the real deals. They’re opportunities not to be wasted. Not wasted for what, you may ask? Not wasted for power and money. Democrats’ reflexive appeals to compassion and kumbaya are shabby, if serviceable, ploys. Flimflammers get it.Putting it more decorously, crisis is a governance tool of Biden minions and Democrats generally.

“BIDEN,” say the young demonstrators’ T-shirts, imitating his campaign logo, “PLEASE LET US IN!” What a waste of T-shirt money: For President Biden seems determined to let in as many immigrants as want to come. The numbers are daunting. About 80,000 people tried to cross the southern border this January, double the number in January 2020. That number could easily balloon this spring, traditionally the peak migration season, with fewer COVID-19 restrictions in place. And with less cooperation from Mexico. The 2019 illegal surge was quashed by the protocol to which then-President Donald Trump got Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to agree.
