Burger King's call for more female chefs backfired after they tweeted 'women belong in the kitchen' on International Women's Day. While many across the country took the opportunity to celebrate women's achievements in social, economical, cultural and political fields, Burger King UK took to Twitter and shared the message: 'Women belong in the kitchen.' They then went on to add a separate post which read: 'If they want to, of course. Yet only 20% of chefs are women. We're on a mission to change the gender ratio in the restaurant industry by empowering female employees with the opportunity to pursue a culinary career.'

#3, when you get to PC jail, save me a seat, ok? Ok, BK forgot one simple fact. Liberals have no sense of humor and by extension no concept of sarcasm. We have seen examples of that here in L.com. Until we can actually TALK to one another with a small measure of tolerance, fun is no longer permitted. I get what was happening, they wanted to give the announcement a lighter touch for the target audience. To make it sound like fun and games..$$ to Doughnuts the people truly whining would have considered applying in the first place. I'd have to rescind the offer saying something like, We were unable to establish that our program would be offered in the spirit intended. Those who may be interested in a Chef program will just have to thank those who complained. We don't want to offend anyone.

Like it or not, When men went to work and women stayed home and took care of the home and the kids, we were better off. Families were closer and could live on one wage earners pay. Kids weren't farmed off to nursery schools for baby sitting because mom had go to work help to pay the bills.

We are going to see more and more of this kind of baffling stupidity. As the kiddies who have grown up under the protection of the cool kids club, deprived of the scar tissue that comes from being on the "wrong" side of a cultural revolution, suddenly find themselves making the decisions, they are ill prepared for the attacks that come with the territory. The left eat their own it's, what they do. Like the famous last words at the guillotine toward the end of the French revolution: "hey... but I'm on your side...thwack!"

There was no reason to suppose that January 15, 1945, would be a different day from any other. Morning roll-call took place as usual. The Auschwitz guards were still weeding out the weakest and dragging them off to their deaths. That evening, after yet another roll call, Wilhelm Brasse was walking back to the photographic studio where he worked when his boss came roaring up on a motorbike. Skidding to a halt on the frozen ground, SS Oberscharführer Walter shouted over the sound of the engine: ‘The Russians are coming! Burn all the photographs, everything. Do it now!’

It said, in part, “The Johnson & Johnson vaccine … was tested and is produced with abortion-derived cell lines raising … moral concerns. President Biden on Sunday signed a sweeping executive order instructing federal agencies to advance Democrat Party objectives for U.S. elections, using the agencies to provide information about voter registration and vote-by-mail applications, including for federal prisoners. Old Communist genocide denier dogs can't be expected to learn new tricks. Here, courtesy of the Under Fire account is Noam Chomsky discussing "Black Lives Matter, Universalism, and Hopes for the Left" at the Einstein Forum. After mumbling his way through a condemnation of "wage slavery", Chomsky bizarrely claims that capitalism is worse than Stalin. "People have to rent themselves to a tyranny so that most of their waking lives, they're under totalitarian control of a kind that Stalin couldn't dream of. Like, Stalin couldn't say here's where you can go to the bathroom. Or here's where you can talk to a friend," Chomsky argues.

Amid Biden’s “dark winter” of COVID hell, the act of “springing forward” out of Standard Time is especially welcomed this year. That’s why a glorious piece of legislation popping up in the Senate is a bright spot this week — not only because it’s bipartisan, but also because it would literally grant daylight to weary Americans.

Still, the CDC continues to recommend that all Americans wear masks, except in certain private settings when individuals are fully vaccinated, unless the goalpost-shifting Dr. Fauci gets his way. This whole "masks don't seem to be having much effect, but wear them anyway" bureaucratic calculus may seem like a frivolous controversy to Americans
