Microsoft has teamed up with a number of tech and media companies to create a system of tracing content around the internet that could destroy online privacy and anonymity, radically transforming the nature of the web.(Snip)
According to Microsoft’s press release, it has partnered with several other organizations to form the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA). Put simply, the purpose of this organization is to devise a system whereby all content on the internet can be traced back to its author. The press release states that it will develop these specifications for “common asset types and formats,” meaning videos, documents, audio

Divide and conquer.
Pretty soon it will be HAM Radio and then back to Morse Code for awhile, then probably smoke signals.

Learned my first day working as a secretary at the hospital, never put anything in the computer you don't want read in a courtroom. I never have. Of course it's not like I know top secret stuff, but I still am careful what I say. It should not be this way, tho.

Go for it. Some smart folks will have a good way to spoof and/or fake this very quickly.

Microsoft products, though I have to use them for work, suck to high heaven. That operations system stealing punk Gates needs to fix his terrible iOS and stop worrying about how we should all live. Tech is forcing us all back into the dark ages.
This is ironic, fta:
"The goal has been stated up front. The establishment media wants to trace the origin of all digital content so that “trusted providers” can be distinguished from non-trusted providers."
The nerve.

When is America going to realize the involvement of Bill Gates in our demise?
Watch out for those who create the fix for dreaded things that someone created....like computer viruses and covid viruses.
I am looking for an alternative to using his products - especially excel.

Nor just online privacy...ALL Privacy! Smart dust can be used with MRNA to replicate in the human body to get us all hooked up into the Cloud. Humans will be included into the Internet of Things and even our thoughts will eventually be theirs. Think is Sci-Fi? The technology is already here.

Poster #8, don't get me started on Excel! Teams is a great concept, but it has major issues as well. And, the limitations and differences of SharePoint and OneDrive online and desktop. Microsoft's own software constantly jams up on their own IOS. When this crazy stuff happens, I curse (not with swear words) Bill-would-be-king-of-the-world-Gates. Good grief!

I still have a Microsoft laptop because the embroidery design software I use was only ever produced for use with Windows. But that’s all I use that laptop for and it doesn’t involve going online.
But I don’t trust Apple either, even though I use an iPhone and iPad. I think that #5 is right. Our online privacy was destroyed years ago. Can you say “Cookies”?

A bit of nit-picking: iOS is a Cisco trademark licensed by Apple for it's iPhone operating system. It is not used by Microsoft although it has become so ubiquitous that it is often used generically for any operating system.

I got a notice on face book that I had posted hateful content. It was a pic of Christians lined up on their knees with ISIS goons standing behind, knives at the throats of the Christians. Got the notice that it violated community standards. I posted it in November of 2016 and they were after me in February of 2021! My point was that the above situation was a failure to act by the Obama administration and, sure enough, within a year those incidents were history.
Some community.
Some standards.

My computer store started selling high end notebook computers with Redhat and I can still have Microsoft Office and other business tools. Faster operating system, still need security software but far less hackable to ransomware emails and he demonstrated that updates from the techs are screened for intrusive additions. Neat!

Linux - perhaps that will not succumb to the evil. An older version of Linux running on a cpu and chipset prior to all of these machinations might circumvent their plans. This is exactly the type of thing that spurs innovation from nonconformists. Perhaps there is hope.

This is why... I shop in person... use cash... pay my bills by post in check form...big brother is always watching...it's rather sad to hear my grandchildren starting to get nervous... I was always sweet ole grannie who believed in the black helicopters...as they chuckled... now it's starting to look "real"...I think that's why Game Stop was so much fun for them... it was the little guy pulling the wool over the corporate dudes ... and winning...

Interesting #15. I just this week got flagged by factbook for a photo I posted of on the occasion of Fidel Castro's death way back in 2016 of him personally executing a man by shooting him in the head. I posted it in response to all the laudatory obituaries going around at the time. Apparently they are reviewing our old posts for wrong think. Probably building a database of suspects for the democrats.

Obama Democrats remind me of Stalin communists.
Biden and his HO remind me of Lenin Bolsheviks.
For the last 90 years, the Democrats supported communism.
It started in 1932 when FDR was elected President.
In 1936 Roosevelt recognized the Soviet Union.
FDR did not care that Stalin started the Great Purge, that killed millions of helpless people.

Marxist Fascism is flourishing under Xiden-Ho and the corporations. ATT (CNN), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Bank of America, Gillette, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, Bed Bath and Beyond, et cetera contribute to the transition of Western society into godless Globalism. Banks are especially pernicious. Any check or transfer over 10k is automatically reported to the Federal Treasury. In my wife cuts a check for 4K and I one for 6K and both are cashed the same day they are also reported to Treasury. Bank of America volunteered the Visa Card charges of all out of towners in DC Jan 5 and 6, 2021, to the FBI better to brand the deplorables.
We have started to keep cash at home and withdraw it from Bank of America (need them for international transfers) in stashes of 9000. Since we are workers, during the Trump wonderful years we accumulated significant wealth. Make America Wealthy Again was true. I fear the Globalist Institutions could freeze us out of our money. I pay cash, use local business and give tips. Just trying to fight back the corporate move to a Cashless Society. The smartphones is another weapon our masters have over us. It is a hard rain that gonna fall. But always that it rained it stopped.
