The Blue States Are Now the Beggar States

Original Article

Last week, I visited South Florida for four days, and what a shock: Everything was open. The beaches, the hotels, the restaurants (with some sensible safety and social distancing restrictions). The classrooms are full. The other strange thing about being in Florida was that people were happy. They were playing tennis and golf. They were going to work and getting on with their lives. Florida is a Republican, can-do kind of place. Then, there is New York. Manhattan is a morose and deserted place to be. It's as if it's boarded up. People are living their lives afraid. They are depressed, which makes the whole place depressing.

I'd call them the 'Grifter States' . Unlike many beggars, they went into this with their piggish eyes wide open. FTA: ' Do they understand that in doing so, they are verifying the collapse of the very blue-state liberal model they want to impose on all of America?' Does a tapeworm understand that it is robbing its host of nutrients? Would it care?

The left destroys anything it touches. As they leave their failed states for red states, be prepared for their influx. Do not ever vote for a democrat for any office regardless how small. If you do, you will be voting for your own destruction. These mentally ill radicals are parasites. They move from one host to another until it is destroyed. Then they will move along to another. You cannot trust them.

We listened to four years of fear mongering from the left about Trump authoritarianism expressed by the leftist media. Where is the real authoritarianism coming from, the tax and regulation cuts of Trump? The solid GOP states such as Florida and South Dakota? Nope, it's all in the lock down leftist states. We have been hearing about systemic racism and watched people rise up and resist. Where did that happen, what system and who was in charge of that system and has been for decades? All bastions of leftism. People are fleeing Illinois California and New York and flocking to where? Other leftist controlled states? Nope, they are going to Texas, and Florida. So now since the leftists in control of states can't extort from people no longer living there (California is trying) now enlist the federal government to steal from the people in fiscally responsible states to finance the states in which the left destroyed the wealth producing mechanisms. Somehow in the midst of an exodus from the big government left states to the limited government right states, we are supposed to believe that the left achieved the grandest election win in history? Where are we going to run to when they are finished imposing one party rule on the entire country? Oh but Orange man bad, republicans are racist white supremacists so that makes it all ok.

It's tough to refer to other Americans as parasites, termites or roaches, but, our country has them, unfortunately. Lots of them. Consequently, the Peoples Republic of Colorado, once a blood red state, is now a cobalt blue state. The social justice courts in the once cow town of Denver now bear this out. Corruption runs rampant. While the suburbs of Denver area are seen by newcomers as an attractive place to live, the local governments have reduced themselves to enclaves of white guilt. The left has destroyed everything it has touched. Denver is the latest example. This is why my wife and I left the area after being there for 42 years for western Colorado. So far the parasites, termites, and roaches have not discovered this part of the state yet. Before moving to western Colorado, we thought about moving to the ultra-red State of Wyoming despite the harsh winters there. But, what would we have done if the parasites, termites, and roaches discover Wyoming as another place to infest. Right back where we started. On another one of today's Must Read, several very notable and highly respected Ldotters commented that living life our way while maintaining deep faith in God, our Savior, is all we have left. Yes, indeed, He is mankind's lifeline. But, while I am still on this earth, I will not consider America as lost yet and will not submit to the evil that has infected my space.

Locusts gotta locust. And now that they control the federal government, I regret to inform you that NO place is safe any more. Even those of you who have escaped the blue insane asylums and found some rural patch of temporary sanity will soon find out you're not out of their rapacious grasp. What exactly do you think the $1.9 trillion "stimulus" is? Upon closer inspection you will find that it's really a giant national tax to be paid by everyone who still has any income or (soon) assets in order to be doled out to the failed blue cities, schools, and chosen subsets of people that are favored by our blue overlord locusts. There really is only one way left (though we all struggle to deny it). Our founders anticipated just this circumstance. Did they misjudge our willingness to use it?

It's the same reason they hate Donald Trump, he did it smarter and better and exposed thousands of democrat "leaders" for the fools that they are. Purely printed money has no value.....it inflates the value of real money as it enters circulation. So, what to do? Biden's Janet Yellen had an idea this week: A "one time" wealth tax on everybody with any wealth whatsoever. Yup, a 27% tax on your HOUSE!!! Most people could not afford that, I'm guessing. Anyway, somebody behind Biden nixed her idea, at least for now.

So the blue states are not a surprise at all to anyone who has lived long enough and paid attention in the past. We are seeing the latest consequences of continual election of democrat policies and tyranny, and with Biden/Dirty Cop in the WH instead of Trump, it is only going to get worse before it gets better.

Austin, Texas The University of Texas' long-awaited report on “The Eyes of Texas” has found that the school song has “no racist intent," but the school president said athletes and band members will not be required to sing or participate when the song is played at games and campus events. The 58-page report, released Tuesday, was commissioned last year by school President Jay Hartzell after a group of Texas athletes, most notably football players, demanded the school drop the song as part of racial injustice protests. The issue erupted into a tempest of fan outrage when football players chose to leave the field instead of

The worst kept secret in Washington, D.C., is that Joe Biden is suffering from serious age-related cognitive decline. In January, although some people predicated he would remain in office for up to two years before he was gently ushered out to make room for Kamala Harris, I looked at the man and thought he was going to be retired by June. Lately, though, Biden looks as if he’s heading for an April or May retirement. On Monday, he had his worst public appearance yet, when he was unable to remember either the name for his Secretary of Defense or the Pentagon.

Is this a new defiance against Donald Trump by the GOP? Or a clever marketing ploy by Trump and his team? Over the weekend, Trump’s attorneys sent a cease-and-desist order to the RNC over their use of Trump’s name in their fundraising efforts. Their predictable response all but guarantees the party will continue to build its brand around Trump’s: The Republican National Committee is denying a cease-and-desist demand from Donald Trump’s attorneys, who asked the party organization to stop using the former president’s name and likeness in fundraising appeals.

"The only thing we have to fear is...fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.” — Franklin Delano Roosevelt The recent school reopening guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is an example of fears influencing and resulting in misinterpretation of science and harmful policy. In the U.S. 50% of schools are closed and more only partially open. President Biden ran on a campaign indicating that science and data would guide his policy. As we approach the anniversary of the first COVID shut down, this approach is needed more than ever, especially when it comes to schools.

Gordon, a Republican, cited the "declining number of active COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations" in Wyoming as well as the state’s "significant success" in a vaccine rollout as reasons behind the easing of restrictions.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
