Harvard prof: Study shows slavery

Harvard Medical School assistant professor Michelle E. Morse says a new study she participated in demonstrates how slavery reparations “could have been as effective as a vaccine” for COVID-19. Researches claim that infection rates for the contagion would have been reduced by up to 68% if Black Americans possessed $250,000 per individual or $800,000 per household for the historical injustice of slavery. “[Slavery reparations] could have been as effective as a vaccine,” she said for a Harvard Crimson piece published Feb. 16. “I think the fact that the U.S. has skirted its responsibility and avoided reach for reconciliation in a meaningful way

Comments:

Imagine a once-reputable school having a Division of Global Health Equity with a race-baiting Blaque "professor" on the staff. A quarter of a million dollars plus a one-way nonrefundable ticket to Liberia or Gambia or whatever Wakanda stand-in? Done; we'd recoup that investment in short order and have a safer and more amiable society to boot.

Well professor, that "vaccine" would have been even more effective (certainly more appreciated) if you had dished it out to all the white people from whom that kind of amount has probably been extracted over the last 70 years to pay for all the programs already used in a continuous effort to help our black brothers and sisters. So you're telling us it's STILL not enough?

Prove you are a slave and I will get onboard. Find me a slave owner and I will see that he is punished. Otherwise, grow up and take care of yourself. Oh, wait, that translates into personal responsibility and that is a no no. Tough, be responsible for your own needs. If you are sitting around all day with your head in your hands because a long, long ago relative might have been a slave - you need therapy.

Hilarious. Since Louisiana had more Covid than South Korea it must be due to racism. I am surprised they do not suggest that Covid was developed by whitey to kill People Of Color. Maybe they are saving that for their next paper. Weird that they do not mention that wonderful left wing Boston had more deaths per capita than racist Louisiana.

The whole left is insane or is living in a dream world. Just last week leftists in Oregon were pushing a new math system whereby it would be just peachy during the study of math if a White student came up with a 2+2=4 answer, and would be just as correct if a Black student came up with an answer to the same equation as being 2+2=44. So what happens when math graduates who pass out of college after putting down the 2+2=44 answer must be hired as structural engineers in accordance with government quotas then design and erect bridges and buildings that come crashing down, just a big cloud of smoke like that politically correct math proposal.

Here's a snippet from this study that apparently counts as science these days: "Early in the outbreak, the aggregated relative risk of death for Black people compared to the white people was 3.57 (95% CI: 2.84-4.48).9 Such a difference is the product of, and further contributes to, vast disparities in Black and white health that are a concatenation of legacies of enslavement, legal segregation, white terrorism (e.g., lynchings during the Jim Crow period), hyperincarceration, lethal policing, and ongoing discrimination in housing, employment, policing, credit markets, and health care."
