Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) favorability is under water, a Politico/Morning Consult survey reveals.
The survey, taken February 12-15, among 1,987 registered voters, asked respondents to rate a number of prominent politicians, including the minority leader.
A majority have an unfavorable view of McConnell, 64 percent, compared to 18 percent who expressed a favorable view. His unfavorability rating is higher than House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA). Fifty-three percent gave the 80-year-old speaker an unfavorable rating compared to 37 percent who expressed favorable views. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) also fares better than McConnell, seeing 31 percent favorability and 42 unfavorability.
The survey’s margin of error is +/- 2 percent.

The goal is low single digits, but it's a start. Sadly, he's got almost 6 years to go and he well knows it.

McConnell is 78, Pelosi is 80, Schumer is 70. They are all way past their "use by" date. It's time for these career politicians to be kicked to the curb. I generally do not agree with term limits, but I beginning to change my mind. These snakes squirm their way back in office after each election and way too many people are too dumb to vote "issues"...

At least you know what negative policies to expect from a dem pol these days but RINOS' duplicity is more of a challenge to figure out. Who wants a double-minded person in leadership?! That's a formula for disaster.

4, just assume any of the R in office for more than 1 term that didn't support Trump and conservative values in general is a RINO.
If they just got into office last month then it remains to be seen where they really stand vs. whatever they said to get there.

President Trump is the best America has ever had ... partly because of the horrible circumstances due to Dems... and partly because he is a genius, America-loving Patriot and Hero!!

We do not have to wait 6 years to remove McConnell from Senate leadership. That position is voted on by Senate Republicans. I will not vote for a Senator in my state that votes for McConnell.

It's bad enough that he has 6 years to go.
6 years in a leadership position is unbearable.
Republicans need to get him out of the Minority leadership and put his office somewhere in the basement of the Senate Office Building. Hopefully in a leaky office with no heat.

He's not at all concerned, and why should he be? Freshly elected to another six year term and no one, not even any of the good ones, is going to challenge him for the leadership post. Articles like this are useless.

Time for McConnell to go. He just wore out his usefulness. He should move to China with his wife where all of his money comes from.

I'll take the polls seriously when they are Kentucky polls. You can wail and moan all you want, but until you LIVE and are REGISTERED Republican to vote in Kentucky all this is "sound and fury, signifying nothing." He is loved and revered here because he has a magnificent constituent response team and they LOVE him — it doesn't matter what any of you think.

The truth be known, this piece of human debris could care less what the people think. He is wealthy (think china connection), was just reelected, and does what the money people on K street tell him to do. Oh my, I just described a large part of the GOP.

Eighteen percent is too high. He should be in the negatives.
