President Donald Trump turned down his former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley after she requested a meeting at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, according to a report.
Politico’s Playbook reported details of the meeting request, citing a “source familiar” with the incident.
Haley criticized Trump extensively in a Politico magazine article, even suggesting that his political relevance was over.
“I don’t think he’s going to be in the picture. I don’t think he can. He’s fallen so far,” she said. “We need to acknowledge he let us down. He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him.”

John Kerry says the world faces a climate change doomsday within nine years unless drastic action now. The comment by President Biden’s special envoy for climate change came during a segment for CBS‘ “Eye on Earth” hosted by senior national and environmental correspondent Ben Tracy. “Some people get hung up on the term ‘global warming’ and say, ‘well, I thought everything’s supposed to get warmer?’ I heard one scientist say this is really ‘global weirding.’ Is that a better way to think of this?”(Snip) “I think it’s a very appropriate way to think of it,” the Democrat said. “It’s directly related to the warming

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez joined a chorus of New York lawmakers demanding an investigation into Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s handling of nursing homes during the coronavirus pandemic.
The New York Democrat said in a statement: "I support our state’s return to co-equal governance and stand with our local officials calling for a full investigation of the Cuomo administration’s handling of nursing homes during COVID-19. Thousands of vulnerable New Yorkers lost their lives in nursing homes throughout the pandemic. Their loved ones and the public deserve answers and transparency from their elected leadership, and the Secretary to the Governor’s remarks warrant a full investigation."

President Biden announced Friday that the U.S. has officially rejoined the Paris climate agreement, reentering the international accord without Senate ratification a month after signing a directive to reverse the Trump administration’s exit. Mr. Biden made the announcement Friday at the Munich Security Conference, which is being held virtually this year, while Secretary of State Antony Blinken issued a statement saying that “the United States officially becomes a Party again today.” “We can no longer delay or do the bare minimum to address climate change. This is a global existential crisis,” Mr. Biden said. “As of today, the United States is officially

This week our neighbors to the north could soon see their right to own firearms greatly reduced, as Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called upon Canada’s federal government to launch a long-promised buyback program for “assault-style” firearms including AR-15s.
The buyback program is just one part of a suite of new gun control measures that were promised by federal Liberals in the 2019 campaign. Under the plan, 1,500 different types of firearms could fall under the classification of “assault-style” even as the term is not a legal classification. Already fully-automatic weapons, as well as high-capacity magazines, are banned in Canada.

President Biden on Friday told a virtual summit of world leaders that he was a “professor” as of two years ago—touting a role that previously drew controversy because he was paid handsomely for nine reported visits to campus. Biden earned nearly $1 million from the University of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2019, despite appearing rarely at the Ivy League school. Biden said in a livestreamed address to the Munich Security Conference, “Two year ago, as you pointed out, when I last spoke in Munich, I was a private citizen. I was a professor, not an elected official.”

Crime, homeless encampments, riots, crime, loopy left-wing government, crime, litter, violent protests, imperious left-wing activists seeing off mainstream liberal Democrats, boarded-up shops downtown, a vicious social-media-driven politics of personal destruction, crime, crime, and crime, to say nothing of the crime — today’s Minneapolis is where Minnesota Nice turns into Minnesota Nasty.
Let’s talk about the crime first. Everybody does.
